Would give them no stars if possible. They were supposed to be here between 9am and 1pm. I asked for the last appointment because I work nights, rude women told me there was no notes that I work nights, as if I just magically started working nights just right now. The technician started calling my personal number at 7:30am I got off work at 6am. Apparently the tech missed his first appointment for no reason then went back to the first appointment he missed then tried to come back to my house. Called to speak to the manager Christian, she didn't want to talk to me, I tried to speak to anyone with any type of authority, but apparently Christina doesn't have a boss. Absolutely horrible, my oven hasn't worked since November. On top of that any time I call I am immediately put on hold but heaven forbid you don't answer when they call you. read more

I had my dryer serviced yesterday the technicians were respectful and informative. They wore their masks and gloves before entering my home. They were able to repair my dryer with no problem. I like that they came with the parts in hand so I didn't have to wait on parts and another appointment. They cleaned up after themselves and were done in less than a hour. read more

2/14/22- Scheduled a service call for KitchenAid Refrigerator; freezer isn't working. The Technician arrives and looks at the freezer. He tells me he "rebooted the freezer, and the fan is now blowing cold/freezing air. Wait 24 hour and the freezer will be working". After 24 hours the freezer temp had NOT changed. The freezer was NOT fixed. I was charged the service call (120$) + an additional 30$. I have not been issued a receipt for the visit, so I can't tell you what the additional 30$ charge was for. 2/16/22- doubling down with POOR customer service. When you call Appliance Worx, you are immediately put on hold. In addition, when you eventually talk to a customer rep. you are constantly put on hold throughout the call. I was put on hold a total of 3 times. Finally, when my call was taken, I explained that my freezer was still NOT working after the service call. I was told I needed to contact the manufacturer and have them come out and fix the issue. So in result, Appliance Worx validated that there was a problem with the freezer (which I already knew) and it needed to be fixed, BY SOMEONE ELSE (I paid 150$ for this information). I asked to speak to a manager, but was denied. I was told the manager would tell me the same thing the customer service rep told me. Obviously frustrated, I continued to ask to speak to a manager and was denied again, and eventually hung up on. Do NOT give Appliance Worx business. They cannot fix the underlying issue. It's worth noting, when the technician arrived he asked for the refrigerator manual, which gave me the feeling that he did NOT know what he was doing. Basically, Appliance Worx can identify problems but can not fix them; which is a waste of time and money. read more

After having a refrigerator and freezer that wouldn't cool or freeze anymore, trying to fix it myself, having a friend of a friend not be able to fix it, and having hundreds of dollars of food wasted, I decided to finally call Appliance Worx. Used this company through a warranty company. 3 days after my dishwasher flooded my house and not having water to sanitize the equipment I need to take care of my elderly father. They sent out a gentleman. He replaced a part in the dishwasher and declared the problem fixed. An hour after he left the Dishwasher flooded the Kitchen again. I called the company and they said that will send out someone next week. I've used Appliance Worx three times now and their service has been super and far superior to other companies I've used in the past. I had a dryer that wouldn't start. Apparently there is a fuse that will blow in a dryer if it's getting too hot. Another company - not Appliance Worx - had replaced it with a part that was the wrong brand for the dryer. They walked away after charging us a huge amount and two months later the dryer wouldn't start again!! Peter from Appliance Worx began by texting me when he was on his way. Arrived on time in uniform, looking very professional. I had given the dispatcher the model number and he had had some time so he had ordered several correct parts depending on his diagnosis. Sure enough it was that fuse again. But he was determined to discover why that fuse kept blowing. Turns out our dryer vent was clogged with old lint. He cleaned the vent and cleaned the dryer and all around the dryer before he was done. Plus, he charged me half as much to clean the vent than a company I hired who specializes in dryer vent cleaning that I had hired for our rental property in Napa. I recently called Appliance Worx when I started to have trouble with my washer. Over the next three weeks they sent two different knowledgeable and personable technicians to my home a total of four times to troubleshoot different aspects of the problem, trying different solutions based on what their diagnostics and the company that produced the washer advised. While they weren't able to fix the issue, the technician took the time to make some recommendations on what I could purchase as a replacement (since he does spend his days working with appliances). And in the end the company only charged me a VERY reasonable service call charge for a single visit. I called and they came out in 2 days and were here when they said they would be. I made an appointment and they showed up well within the allotted time. Each time, the technician was very respectful of me and my home, which is really important to me when I have a stranger coming into my home. We had a problem with our microwave. I build my own computers and fix my own car, but I didn't feel comfortable opening up my microwave. Something was wrong with the bottom latching mechanism. The guy (don't remember his name) came in and messed around with the microwave for a bit and told me it would need a new door. The fix would be $550, but could be knocked down to $525. At the time I just thought, I just buy a new microwave and sent him on his way after paying him $100 just to look at it. After he left I looked at the latching mechanism, of which there are 2. It has a safety feature where it can get push back and lock so the door won't close. This give the part extra shelf life. The guy lock the top one as well. So, not only did he not fix it, he left it in worse condition then it was. After watching him open the microwave, I followed the same steps. I reset the latches and the microwave started working again. This company tried is a thieving, lying, crooked company. Look for someone else it could save you a lot of money. read more

We had picked Appliance Worx through our home warranty to work on our hood vent, since they appeared to have good reviews and worked on our brand. Peter came out and was very courteous, indicated what he would fix, was patient with our questions, and ordered the part. We were happy. He asked that as soon as the part arrived to our house to call them to schedule the install. Well, the part arrived quickly and when we called to make the appointment, that is when things changed. They told us that the install had been transferred to someone else (???). No explanation, nothing, and refused to answer our question as to why and told us to call the warranty company. We called the warranty company and they said that Appliance Worx asked for it to be transferred. Now we are stuck with no one to repair our hood because no other companies in the warranty network will repair this brand and Appliance Worx won't talk to us or tell us why they transferred it. They claim to have great customer service and it was, up until we tried to make the appointment for the actual repair and then they became completely unprofessional for some unknown reason. When attempting to call again to understand why, they would put us on hold for 30+ minutes and never answer. The best that we can guess is that they didn't like our questions to Peter asking him how the repair would work. We don't think it is unreasonable as a homeowner to understand a repair that is about to happen our house. read more

I contacted Appliance Worx after seeing one of their service vehicles in the neighbor hood. I was able to get an appointment within a day of calling. The technician Nick arrived at the appointed time frame and really took his time in diagnosing and explaining the issue with the dryer and what the best course of action was needed. He even noticed a few extra areas that would help improve the dryer's performance and went to work to implement those as well. They don't do their own deliveries and their coordination with Master Wholesalers, the delivery contractor, adds a middleman that can pose a problem arranging for delivery in time for installation appt.
