Steve is a true appliance professional with many years experience. His breath of knowledge greatly assisted in our selection and purchase of a new GE Profile Refrigerator. Additionally, he was so professional and friendly interacting with us as thought he had known us for years. As we completed the sale, Steve also registered the warranty for us and set up delivery. Delivery was absolutely perfect, on-time, and pristine---It was the best delivery experience I have ever had. Famous Tate has their own warehouses and delivery personnel---They set up and tested the refrigerator, removed all the "blue protective film", and did a great clean up before departure. The value was superior beating even the best price of some of the "other Home/Hardware type big box store's prices". Service and quality is a top focus at Famous Tate--making sure you have a least 30 days to test out your appliance. Although my new GE refrigerator ran perfectly from the the very start, Famous Tate assured me if there had been a problem, Famous Tate would step in to help get it resolved with the manufacturer. They offer friendly first impression. However, the follow up and service after the sale is not congruent. The first set of appliance were delivered by a tam that left the tape on, styrofoam in, poor experience overall. Teh second purchase, the deliver company "Premier Installation" provided a different level of service. They would get 10 stars from me. However, Famous Tate ordered an incorrect piece for the oven. Even though they had the appliances for well over a month, no one bothered to confirm that all the correct pieces were there. We have an oven without proper ventilation due to their mistake, it is still unusable and even though I have made several calls, no one has reached back out. It has been weeks now, not days. I have spoken with managers and sales people add left messages more than once. Crickets. This is the reason for the one star rating.

I came out of the hospital and I needed a recliner to elevate my legs and I was unable to walk. I called them up. I told them my situation -Nick was the person who answered the phone. He asked me what features I was looking for and told me he would send me four pictures of different recliners for me to look at and if I needed more just to let home know. From those four I picked one and ended up getting it delivered to me in the process. It was Nick, Rob and Bill who all helped me and they all carried on from where the other one left off with no issues. I didn't have to wait for anyone to call me back. But the dogs are kept in a room in the house and not allowed to run free . the backyard is not fenced so they just had to walk around the house to the backyard to enter In the end, they accused us of being in the wrong somehow and through extensive negotiation, we received half of our deposit back, Owner Mike Linn was smooth and charming in the beginning and was at the end, rude raised his voice to me , and accused us of lying. Which is remarkable since all we wanted was a simple backyard Landscape design. We feel fortunate to have escaped with minimal emotional and financial damage. You might make sure to look at all the reviews because if you go far enough down the list you will see some serious negative situations that have occurred with this company. This is not an opinion. It's a matter of public record . For example AI found a quantity of negative performance reviews in a variety of circumstances for this company .
