Our television died last night, and after recycling it, we came to Best Buy for a replacement. They have the best selection and prices, in our opinion. We want a 50 inch Insignia, and when we looked online, it said it was on display. We look at the televisions, but can't find the 50 inch we want on display and working. We ask one of the guys back there and he shows us where it is and turns it on for us. We tell him we'll buy it. But he doesn't help us. Michael gets a cart, and as we are going to the front, Tony tells us to make sure we stand it upright when we transport it. He also adjusts it on the cart so that it's level and even. We tell him we appreciate his help, and we mean it. The price is reasonable, and we earn points by buying it here at Best Buy. I went to Best Buy in Clearwater yesterday at 11:00 (store was dead), had a simple question as to a Verizon cell phone accessory and was told "Sorry, I don't work in that Department" by 2 people. Those same two people said they would get someone. After waiting 20 minutes, I was walking out and another associate smiled and said hope you found what you needed. Wow! Been awhile since we have been here and we came to replace our granddaughter's iPhone that was broken but under service warranty. I had forgotten how large this place was. Very impressive with the amount and variation of items they carry. I knew they carried a lot of computer items, televisions, cameras, games and appliances. I did not realize they carry exercise, health items, online home items and home security items. I was really shocked at the variety of items. Of course I miss the sales racks of DVD movies since I have a very large collection. Unfortunately one thing hasn't changed is long waits for customer service. My wife did make an appointment with the Geek Squad and brought the paperwork for the service warranty. However the phone was busted and couldn't be booted. After about two hours with the Tech, she was told she needed to provide our granddaughter's email and iPhone password, which we didn't have. Why it would take 2 hours to figure that out?? Was using the Geek Squad at this location. I made an appointment in the store with Jacob to bring in my Apple desktop. I was told I didn't need to bring any connection cords...that they have them there. I had signed up for there $179.00 service agreement. When I arrived for my appointment on 2/5/26, I was told I needed to bring connection cords. They wouldn't let me return home to get it and leave my computer with them. The manager on that evening at 5:15 pm had no solution. As a result, I was told to make another appointment. Very poor customer service with this location. As a result I took my computer back to the Apple store in Tampa and my problem was fixed immediately without charge. Excecllent customer service at Apple. No one should use the Geek Squad at Best Buy. They are not customer friendly and don't have a clue. Besides, Apple Store is inTampa is free or is much cheaper. read more

Only reason we visited this place was to purchase phone cases for the new iPhones. One impressive feature of this iteration of the electronics superstore: greeter! The older lady sitting near the entrance was cordial and helpful too. We told her we were looking for cases and she pointed us right where we needed to go, plus the correct part of the aisle and shelf! She was doing the same for other folks who entered after we did. She also helped us with another small issue; wish I got her name...oops! After we got our stuff, we had the girl at the service area put the cases on the phones as well as cash us out. She and her colleague were both busy helping folks with looking for specific products and getting them set up, etc. Different from the geek squad, but still a helping hand where it's needed. Store is just as big and well-ordered (more like chaotic) than any other BB I've ever visited. If ever I need a Jumbotron or Xbox, then maybe I'll return here. I stopped by on my lunch break to try and get some information. I'd been on the website and I wanted some clarification before making a purchase. I let the guy up front know that I needed help. He agreed to send someone to help me. I looked at everything on the shelves two or three times. I waited. I looked around. Nobody showed up to help though. I didn't have all day so I had to leave. Was charged & paid for services for new Tv delivered on 12/23/2025 that were not performed as of 01/20/2026 except for one small partial credit. Geek Squad unhooked old Tv but did not reconnect everything. Left 2 prong cable uninstalled, restricted audio to one connection (sound bar or Tv, required usage of 2 different remotes, lefts unable to reconnect with Amazon fire box, Roku.....etc paid subscriptions, and did not follow Samsung user guide instructions to start new tv. Customer Service is all but non existent, phone, website, and personal visit seeking help is 100% useless & a nightmarish failing effort at all and any time. During the pandemic, the store observed the CDC guideline. Face mask is required. They set up the paid screen and information screen 6 feet from the clerk desk if you buy the appliance. Service need to be improved. When we reach the sale area of appliances, only one agent helping, and he said just go to the front to get another agent to help since he is helping other customers. We did but the new agent did not show up. We wait till the current agent finishes with the current customer and continue. This area they need improvement. I like to give the high mark on the delivery system they have. They will give you the progress of the delivery, such as agent delivery assigned, appliance on the trucks route, and final call they will be here in half hour. Waited in line for 45 minutes to return and the girl with black hair and 444 necklace is the most rude person I've ever encountered in my entire life. Parking is good, as expected buy a large store that has been around for many years. Conveniently located next to super target and marshals. Once you walk in, you can see that they're either out of stock of most items or everything it's just kind of erratic and chaotic. It is quite difficult to find health, unfortunately, all of these products that are high priced are locked up, so to be able get help to unlock some thing it's like pulling teeth. Despite standing around on multiple visits, waiting for someone to come help me after requesting help, no one shows up. They are immensely understaffed, and the store is a hot mess. I don't know how stand alone stores like this are staying in business when they have no staff to sustain it. I'd rather order everything from Amazon and have it delivered then wait around for someone to come help me. I do not recommend shopping at this location. read more

This card has issues with the various departments (marketing, rewards, and Citi Bank) Skip signing up for the card until they get it sorted out. Example, You will get emails to activate an offer that you can't refuse, involving BB Rewards. And the email is from citi.com. When you call to check on the rewards... No one knows anything about the offer. Citi or Rewards associates. And no one has an email address to forward the original offer to them. BTW - additionally- I signed up for the 10% off a new fridge/freezer. The freezer was delivered broken and I got a full refund. I was not offered a 2nd chance at 10% off. read more

We had to go out of town and we notified them that we would not be home and changed our delivery date to one that we could keep. Unknowingly, I bought a defective computer right before the holidays; unfortunately I also became severely ill that I was unable to bring it in to be returned. On the 30th day I came in and after explaining the situation, was told I only had 15 days to return and I was 5 days too late since I bought it December 22nd and had until January 15th. Much to the credit of the customer service associate and his supervisor, they had Geek Squad check it out to see what issues it was having. Just as I knew they would, Geek Squad confirmed it was defective. Fortunately, they allowed me to exchange it with another computer in the same price range since the original computer I bought was no longer available. They had Geek Squad install everything to ensure that it is "walking-out-working" when I take it home. I was very happy and grateful because I did not want to be stuck with spending so much money on a brand new computer and for it to not work. After getting feedback from a personal friend I choose a better brand than what I initially purchased as it's replacement. This makes me feel like they really stand behind their branding, "Buy with Confidence." I was also able to use Best Buy reward points to get another small item at no cost and have been happy with my tablet purchase from my previous visit in December. In February, I plan to get another tablet from them as a gift to my friend knowing if they have any issues it will be resolved. The presence of the Geek Squad is a major asset to Best Buy customers. Customer Service may depend on the associate who is providing it because the associate who was assisting another customer besides me had a customer who brought in her item but didn't check that customer's item to see if it was defective and argued her down like a prosecutor attorney for bringing in her item 5 days too late. read more

This Best Buy is one place I shop for electronics. I generally shop around online for what I need and compare prices. At times I have things delivered for free from wherever I decide, sometimes I go to the store if I want to see it in person first. On this occasion I was going to be heading to a meeting and this Best Buy 1) had the best price for what I needed and 2) was on the way to my meeting. As they offer the outside, no-touch option for pick-up, I opted for that. Not sure what I was expecting but the email I received described the process. Drive in, pick a space in their pick-up reserved spots. Use their form to tell them the make and model of vehicle and where you are located. I did so. From sending the message to a friendly employee placing my order through my rear window onto the backseat it took about 5 minutes. That is probably the amount of time it would have taken me to get out of my car, walk in and go to customer service, pick up my order and get back to my car. And that would be with no one or maybe one other in line. So, kudos for that. read more

Currently you can only shop in store with an appointment, or take the risk of there being a free slot for a walk-in appointment. We didn't know about this in advance, but lucked out and secured a free slot. We were there to buy a TV for my new place, and they only had three 50" TVs in stock at the time. Inventory is definitely running low for them, but they're still working to find the best options for people.
