They are a complete scam! The owner lied to us about the machine we were looking at and told us that it had just been serviced and he talked about the expense of all the new parts and actually told us he had tuned it up after all these repairs. He said he would also give us 4-5 extra accessories with our cash purchase. The machine doesn't run, it overheats as soon as it is turned on! We just bought it 3 days ago, and he refuses to give us our money back!! It's been a nightmare dealing with these guys. The accessories were suddenly not available and he now says he can't get them anymore?!?!!!! :-[ They need to be closed down. read more

My 17 year old dryer was making a lot of noise and I called these guys early Monday morning. They came out by mid morning and diagnosed the issue. We have used this company in the past, but today the owner must have been in a bad mood. We called Appliances N More for a service call, agreed to the price. Someone was to come out looked at the dryer (let us know what was wrong with it; go from there). Instead the owner made the decision to take the dryer to his stop (a tenant lives in the house; and all the pricing and extras Appliance N More were to call us not the tenant) to do further repairs without my permission and then wanted to charge me for the extra repair. When I called and ask why we were being charged extra and who made the decision to remove our dryer from the property? He said, "I did..." He then got really nasty. I said, I'm not trying to get out of paying what I agreed to pay, but to charge me extra because you made a decision to remove our property. The owner went on to say "Lose my number, and don't call us again." I said, really - is this what you are going to tell me because of what you decided to do and want to charge me extra for it... He then go on to say well "we will will not charge you anything, but don't ever call us for anything." I said Wow, this is how you treat paying customers who agreed to pay for a service call.... We have been buying all our appliances for over 13 years from here! Always got exceptional service, delivery and they are great people to deal with. We only ever had one minor issue and they took care of it for us. They give a warranty. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We buy , fix and rent houses to friends so it's important they have good appliances. Everything we have gotten, at least three whole kitchens and several stacking washer/dryers worked very well for long times. we still have most and others went with homes that we sold. All we bought from here has worked for years and we are still using many of the older great quality refurbished appliances today. We also build and buy our raw wood for rustic furniture projects. The raw wood yard has all kinds wood, shapes and sizes including lots of quality firewood, by the cord already cut n ready for use for grill, fireplces or chimineas, fire pits, or local camping. We frequently buy raw cedar plank for furniture projects and he has a nice selection reasonably priced. If you need a good used appliance call ahead , or go buy some wood products. The people here were very friendly and helpful. They could have sold me a replacement washer when I brought mine in but suggested that I let them take a look and see if they couldn't fix mine. Ron found it to be a simple hose that he replaced. Instead of $250 - $350 for a replacement washer, it cost me $43 for a hose replacement. I highly recommend these folks. read more

I've had two different experiences with Appliances-N-more, both very positive. My first was purchasing a used refrigerator for my garage because my old one had stopped working. They had a nice selection of used machines and not only did they deliver the same day, they took the old refrigerator too! I had such a positive experience with them that a couple of years later when I needed to repair a fridge, I called them. They were able to see me in two days and they did a super job. I know they are a small business, but they do great work. If you leave a message, they *will* call you back. I have never had a hard time getting in touch with them. read more

Tried calling to schedule a repair several times but always get a recorded message that they're either assisting other customers or on the other line. Just a tip Appliances-N-More, if you want to keep the light bill paid answer your phone. Customer's want to talk to a live person not a machine. I was repairing my dryer and needed a thermal fuse part. Ron was very helpful and cautioned me on what to look for in the vent. He stated matter of factly to run a water hose through it and get it clean. So I checked the vent and saw there was not much in it, started to install the vent and remembered what he told me about the water hose. I flushed the pipe and a very large amount of lint came out along with a wasp nest that was as big as a baseball and was plugging the vent where I could not see it...had he not told me I would be repairing again...hats off to him and I would highly recommend these folks...A++++ read more

My dryer stopped working, which is a real pain with a big family. I first called Sears who could not send someone out for 4 days. I search Yelp, find this place and called them at 8AM the next day and they had someone out later that morning. Guy was fast and experienced. He stuck around after the fix and made sure everything was in good order, and the price was more than fair. I will definitely use them again. read more

I had an obstruction in the groove of the dryer vent so the vent would not go back into its slot. Called Appliances-N-More and got an appointment the same day. The tech was on time which I appreciate. However, I was charged $90 for a 10 minute visit for him to remove the small obstruction. He did not have to take anything apart to finish the job. In my opinion, that's way too high. I've purchased appliances at this place before but I will be rethinking that when I need to purchase again. read more
