I called two times. After that nobody came to fix it. Nobody came to look at it they will not refund my money. They will not come get it or give me my money back, they said I had to refuse delivery in order to receive my refund! That just doesn't make sense!! The delivery driver stated we could not refuse delivery (they would not take it back with them), and that we needed to contact Ashley to get a replacement piece. We've been going through that process for 3 weeks now and have not gotten any resolution on it yet, they are now asking for more pictures (even after the delivery driver took pictures). I finally called the store today and the manager asked if I refused delivery? I stated that your subcontractor (for delivery) told me that I could not refuse delivery and that I needed to go through customer service. At that point I realized something was off. Funny enough, I have a ring camera setup inside to record our Scottish Fold cats (for my wife's Cattery business), and it's high on a shelf but it captures the whole living room area and the audio is surprisingly good. I let the manager know that I do have the delivery on video including the part where I open the piece and see the damage, and when they tell me I cannot refuse delivery. If this is in violation of Ashley corporate policy I believe this could be a legal issue. Really though I don't want to press it, I just want a new piece to replace the one that is damaged. He said the process would be to send someone out to see if they could fix it. It seems quite ridiculous to me that they could deliver something that is "new", that's damaged and not replace it with something that is new and undamaged. That Ashley would consider just fixing something that is damaged rather than automatically replacing it with something that is new and undamaged tells you really all you need to know I think about them as a company. I don't live by an RC Willey anymore, but I had an issue with something that came damaged by them before and they replaced it with a new item no questions asked. So do what you like ordering from them, they do have decent furniture for the price when it's not damaged, but know your rights and do refuse delivery, even if the subcontractors they hire to deliver provide you misinformation (or outright lie, depending upon what they have been told they are able to do). I have more pictures but I got one without the delivery driver's face in it here for privacy reasons (live photos is so nice, thanks Apple), but there is also some of the internal wood cracked and more other damage. It still works, but when you're paying for something new to come out of the packaging like this it's very disappointing. Ken

I was astounded someone was attentive, had their head up and focused on me, a middle-aged woman pushing my cart through one wrong aisle after another. My sights were set on gathering the necessary parts to put my childhood canopy bed together for my next home's guest room. I needed 16 parts and although I had no idea how I'd put them together, I began by purchasing what I needed. Once the young man was standing at my cart, complete with a ready smile, I showed him a photo of my precious project. His badge showed me his name was Kayden and I imagined he was in his early 20s. With hope, I told Kayden I needed those pretty little toppers for the canopy. He immediately knew their name: finials. He politely waved his hand and motioned for me to follow him. Once at the end of an aisle I didn't realize existed, Kayden showed me the array of reasonably priced finials and asked whether I had any more questions. I thanked him and assured him I was all set. After spying the finials I had to have, I noticed there were only three and I needed four. I wove through the aisles once more in search of Kayden and finally tracked him down. I showed him the finials, resembling the ones from my childhood bed, he said, "Oh, we have plenty of those!" I assured him he was wrong and let him know the hook was empty. He grabbed hold of a 100-foot-high lift and made his way to the top of the rafters. Within moments, he handed me the finial I needed to complete my set. I asked Kayden if I could write a Yelp Review for him and he said he'd be honored. Everyone who shops at Lowe's will do well to have Kayden in their corner. He makes one's dreams come true.

Going in it looks pretty much like Home Depot, but with a different color scheme. Again not a lot of service staff to direct you to where you wanna go. But better than Home Depot though. Walking around I did see the door knob locks, and I did need to replace one of mine to the garage from the inside of the house. I think they call that a "man" door ... weird name for a door I say! Anyways, pick out a doorknob lock. Then I wanted to find the chainsaws. I wanted a small cordless one. I did find the power tools and the cordless chainsaws, but most were way bigger than I wanted to deal with. I wanna keep my feet and hands! I did find some smaller ones, but they were name brands and cost way more than I wanted to pay for something I was just gonna use occasionally. Well, OK, I did get a doorknob lock so that's OK.

While the issue, thankfully, was not as serious as I had thought and feared, Carl was thorough, thoughtful and respectful. Being an older single woman seems to present some people, especially "servicemen", with the opportunity to speak to me and treat me as if I am an idiot and assume they can take advantage. This was certainly not the case with Carl. He made helpful suggestions for how I could follow-up with a different type of service and left me with useful information. While my issue did not require the scope of work done by Chronic, I would definitely reach out to them in the future if I ever did need their services.

Our family recently worked with Cronic Disaster R&C to follow up after my nephew had major water…read moredamage from the January 2023 storms in Redding, CA. Ultimately, the ceilings of the master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, and dining room caved in in varying degrees. Asbestos was found and CDRC worked closely with the abatement company to be sure they could begin reconstruction as soon as the house was abated. They were timely and began work immediately. Their work is meticulous and their communication, which includes promptness and follow-up, is superior. They were a pleasure to work with. The dryer parts were replaced and during my discussion with "Chris" the service tech we did decide to try less soap in the washing machine and see if it stops the noise before tearing it apart and replacing parts. The following day, I washed a light load and when I went to dry them, the dryer was making the same horrible noise after having the parts replaced. I reached out to the service tech and sent him a video of the dryer, making the horrible noise, even with nothing in the dryer. Because this has been an issue since day one when we bought them, and we have been given the biggest run around and lied to now for 4 months. I requested that we returned the washer and dryer and buy a different brand (speed Queen). I just want a working washer and dryer!!!! Thursday March 26, 2026 Lewis Chuck, who sold me the washer and dryer called and offered to give us $1200.00 for the new set we just paid $2216.75 for! In return, we return the washer, dryer, pedestals. *PLUS!!! LEWIS TOLD ME, "YOU ALSO HAVE TO REMOVE YOUR YELP REVIEW".******** I told Lewis we were NOT going to accept $1200.00 for a defective washer and dryer we paid $2216.75 for. What "really upset me" is, I felt like I was being bribed into removing my "HONEST YELP REVIEW" and "UPDATES". Bribery is illegal!!! When removing a review on Yelp, Yelp asks, "if you were offered a refund or other compensation to remove this review". In a world with so much corruption. I REFUSE to be a part of it!!!!
