Really digging the vibe in here, beautiful high ceiling and floor to ceiling windows give this restaurant a welcoming feeling. Was kinda let down since the place felt like a food market/ cafeteria rather than an intimate restaurant. The food was good but pricey ($42 lamb chops). Amazing restaurant, service is absolutely of the charts, and the manager has incredible skills, since he is a chef but also goes around the tables checking everything is fine. I ate a delicious osobuco that was beautifully presented in a bed of cheese risotto, the dish is also quiet a show, since they flame it up as it gets to the table. We also share a truffled Mac and cheese that still has me dreaming. We ordered 3 appetizers since everything looked so good and we didn't want to leave anything out. The decor is so posh yet simple, .... the service is outstanding from Ricky and Albany, both are so helpful friendly and attentive I had the Aprile pizza (2 absolutely die for!) and my husband had the pork chop w/amazing caramelized veggies and cubed browned potatoes on top of a mustard sauce We are having our third glass of wine, desserts and expresso!!! The place is new and super cute (modern) on the inside. They speak English and Spanish which is great for the area. I walked in the front, and they don't really have a hostess stand so I kind of wondered a bit before someone said hi. I ordered a salmon appetizer and pizza. They were taste testing food on the counter with all there servers in the front of the place, so I am not sure if it was training or they switch their menu. Overall I think the pricing was good and the two items I had were good. They layout is interesting, almost like a counter to order to go, restaurant seating, and the bar is in the back kind of tucked away. read more

This is a small, cool and hip restaurant in Doral... indoor and outdoor seating... The food and drinks were good, the service was okay not excellent; the staff spoke no English and were not too attentive... The menu is quite extensive... There's a lot to chose from...good variety! The dishes are a little expensive, but a few are not too badly priced.... I must say and have to add to this review, we were very upset and disappointed when we are charged $14 for each Pina Colada that both contained no alcohol! We asked the waitress, how could they charge the same price for Virgin Pina Coladas as a regular one; which was not cheap to begin with and she didn't even care to ask the manager and take something off our two drinks... That's not right and it's not fair to pay $28 for two drinks that didn't contain alcohol; which was the regular price of the ones with alcohol.... Unfortunately that left a bad taste ... This was a letdown:( I really wanted to like this place. The first time I went it was okay, not great-service wise. Like they got the job done so to speak. The servers spoke Spanish to us which I get given we are in Miami, but I'd appreciate it if they didn't automatically assume I speak Spanish. What if someone walked in and didn't speak spanish:/ Second, the servers didn't have the greatest of personalities. Very cut and dry. The first time we went our waitress had a pleasant attitude, but the second time it was just terrible. I'm sorry. I hate to say it but it really detracted our experience dining there. It was the second time we went that really sealed the deal for us to never go back. It's a shame because the food isn't all that bad. It actually tastes quite delicious. Large portions too but the pricing isn't cheap just a heads up. But what really deterred us from ever wanting to go back was the fact that our server appeared to not know the dishes on the menu at all and when he placed the plates in front of us he didn't remember who got what and acted like we got different items than what we actually ordered. Also we asked for one of the pasta dishes to be spicy and they said they would at first but then 10 mins later he comes back and says the chef can't do it and that we needed to pick another dish all together:/ That was really offputting. Mind you the place wasn't busy at all and we were the only table in there at the time. It almost felt like we were burdening the chefs with other request, like it was a bother or annoyance to make the dish spicy. They could have just thrown in some red pepper flakes for all I care but make some effort. The dish arrived and guess what-no one hint of spiciness. It turned into this whole thing, and in the end I felt bad for the waiter because maybe he was new and I want to give him the benefit of the doubt. But word to the wise. Accommodate your guests. Chefs, don't be lazy. It's a bad look. And for the severs, please learn or know the product you are selling and which guest orders it. As a plus though the decor is spot on. I love it. I felt like I was in Santorini, Greece while sitting at the table. Oh and their bread is on point too. Those are the only two pros-the decors and the bread...along with the picture of the sloth in the bathroom because it was cute lol which isn't enough for me to want to continue dining there unfortunately. read more

We came here for lunch. The reason for ** is the server was helpful, the chicken crepe was ok. The reason for no more than ** is at first sight there were 2 women chopping, one had gloves on and was chopping cherry tomatoes, the other had no gloves & was cutting mushrooms. Once the lady without the gloves was done with the mushrooms she began using her hands to pick a handful of tomatoes & chop them in half. Now, I'm sure a lot of restaurants have people doing this, it's just not what you should be doing when there's glass put for the diner to see! The second reasons was my friend ordered a penne dish and it came completely undercooked. It had to be sent back to be redone! We dropped off my wife's son at top golf and we're desperate to eat and this was one of the few places that had an opening for 8:30 pm on Sat nite. The restaurant is in the new area called mid town Doral, a compendium of apts w businesses on first level. Parking is easy (park in indoor garage in any spot that says building 1 or2). My wife ordered the house red wine which was pretty ordinary to bad. Our entrees were the salmon over risotto and I had the frutti di mare which was good but ordinary if not over priced at $28. The salmon was excellent. A couple of gripes it took 35-45 to get our food and I was starving (they brought crappy bread w smashed olives that wasn't very good). There was also a table w 4 screaming kids next to us. Waitress did not speak any English at all. All in all I'd say stay away unless u r desperate. Overpriced but decent tasting food. The food is spectacular and the prices are very reasonable for Doral area. Even when I'm almost never around Doral area, I could say I'd drive there just to visit this place again. Amazing! The atmosphere is fresh and cool, great taste and beautiful colors that will make you feel relaxed and encouraged to try new flavors. Ivan, the owner and menu planner, met us at the entrance and immediately gave us great recommendations to start. Since we really wanted to try everything, he proposed a tasting menu which sounded perfect for us. We started with the Aprile Tonic. Simple but fresh and delicious drink while tasting the Carpaccio Di Manzo. Then we ordered the Eggplant & Zuchinni Rolls which are stuffed with ricotta cheese, prosciutto and spinach... tastes so good! Since it was hot outside and we switch to the house white wine, we decided to try Frutti Di Mare pasta and the Seared Tuna with an apple-cinnamon chutney that was out of this world! Ivan surprised us with the Sirloin Bruchettas perfectly paired with the right glass of red wine to enhance the flavor. When we thought we couldn't eat more... we had to make some space for the dessert because the Banana & Nutella Crepe sounded too amazing not to give it a try so we did and was a great way to closed the tasting menu, once again paired with a glass of champagne. I ordered the cartoccio, perfectly cooked filet mignon with a side of pasta with mushroom and truffle sauce, absolutely delicious.
