I hired this company because the good reviews and was told by one of their employees that they can do needed repairs with pool filter cleaning without extra labor charge, BUT I am ended up Very Disappointed with the service this business provided! Manager Brian put me on hold for more than 20 minutes when I called and I had to call him again by calling him with different phone, and he insisted the pool filter cleaning job is completed when the backwash switch had not pushed back completely to the original position after the filter cleaning. The picture here is showing the incomplete job, even his technician Nick told me that he needs come back to finish the job by replacing O-ring on the day of my pool filter got cleaned. read more

Skeezy my friends, just skeezy. So skeezy I wanted to wait before I posted a review. I asked them to repair a part of my pool. They came by removed the part and disappeared. I had specifically asked for the person to contact me when they came and tell me how much it would cost to do the repair. That didn't happen Instead a brand new part was installed (again, no call, no quote) and I was sent a bill for 950.00 dollars. Yep, no quote to let me know before so I could say no that is too much. I called and asked to talk the manager and explained that this was installed without an agreement or a quote. I had expected to have the old part repaired, or at least have a conversation about what would be done. He said, "well your part was broken and we couldn't fix it. NO apology for bad business practices. I asked for my old part back and he said, oh, I threw that away. Really? I asked him to send me a new bill with no parts on it, send his guy to de-install and told him that the guy had to tell me when he was coming and knock on my door prior to doing any work. Guess what boys and girls, the skeezemiester slipped by, de-installed the unit and I never heard anything, just went in the yard a week later and no part. in the mean time I did what I should have done first and looked at the BBB website. Sure enough there is post there from a person who went through the exact same thing, Do not give these guys a call, they are skeezanistas and will try to rip you off. Run! read more

I have read the two negative reviews, and I must say, I could not have a more opposite feeling towards Aqua. I have a 16k gallon pool that was in absolute distress when I came to them. Stan took a painstaking amount of time, on his own dime, to move towards diagnosing what turned out to be a multitude of problems. He then assigned John to my pool and I couldn't have been luckier. Turns out it was a bad plaster job and Aqua was instrumental in getting all parties on board and getting my pool fixed. John and the Aqua crew have also installed many new items (filter, Aqualink) and I couldn't be happier. But, above all, their follow up has been superior. They have addressed every nagging question/concern I've had. And trust me, with my money pit of a pool, there have been MANY. I cannot convey in words how accessible they've been which is about all you can ask for sometimes when you're thrown for a loop with your pool! I would absolutely recommend Aqua, and it is unfortunate about the negative reviews as I do not believe it reflects how fantastic John, Stan, and the Aqua crew are! Folks are super friendly at this store. However, some of the stuff they sell seem old like it's been sitting there for half a century (the deteriorating plastic cover on the shark fin swimvest that stands alone on one hidden corner of the store says it all). It's like they bought all these stuff for their store in the 20th century and they're just waiting for all of the items to sell until they replenish. It may be best to call them first to check if they carry the item you need - save your time and gas. read more

I am not really sure where the negativity comes from as these guys are excellent and very informative. Every time I have an issue, John is either showing up the same day or helping me over the phone (even at night and on weekends)! For example, I took water in for testing prior to a huge pool party just to check it. It turns out the water was not even safe to swim in. John showed up at my house about 45 minutes later to treat the pool and we were all swimming about an hour later!! Also, Stan is pretty good about responding to emails for general questions. I have a large pool and care for it myself. They have fixed several issues and even gotten some stuff covered under warranty. Furthermore, if I have any questions, they all take the time to explain and go into detail on what the problem is. I would recommend this company to anyone and John is the absolute best!! read more

I have been using this company for almost a year now for weekly pool service and have had numerous problems with them not coming out every week as scheduled. I called at least 6 times over the past nine months because of no shows, yet I was billed and paid the full monthly bill. I understand the problem with keeping and training new help, but two weeks in a row, the past two weeks) with no shows has finely forced me to find another provider. We had been dealing with a Barracuda pool cleaner for some time that had been having lots of issues. We had been working with another pool service company who kept recommending that we purchase "this" part and "that" part, adding up to hundreds of dollars over time, only to continue to have problems with the main unit. One trip to Aqua Pool, and my husband mentioned the problems we'd been having, and low and behold, without any prompting, Aqua Pool told us that there had been a recall on our particular type of unit for similar problems. They suggested we bring in the unit, let them send it to the manufacturer and get us a brand new unit. We didn't spend a dime in the store and yet the saved us a ton of money! Needless to say the "other" pool store never bothered to look anything up as far as a recall, etc. I think it's fair to say we've found our new "go-to" pool store. read more

Go with someone else!!! My spa is just gross. I have no idea what they do when they come to "clean" but it is NOT clean! Aside from playing with my dog, brushing my dog and leaving heaps of dog hair on my patio, giving my dog treats that are probably bad form him, and turning my spa filter on, nothing gets done. They were just here on 2 days ago and my spa is full of leaves, coated with dirt and GREEN!!!! They have very unprofessional people working for them. Very bad.... read more
