Nate at Aqua is the go to person for pool chemistry. His knowledge is amazing and his targeted approach does not leave you with a lot of chemicals you don't need. Take your water sample to Aqua and ask for Nate to analyze it and recomend a solution to any pool water issue. read more

This was the most upsetting and unprofessional experience I've ever had while attempting to do business. Mainly I'm referring to one person that all all aspects of the pool planning hinged upon. He did not communicate clearly or fully with the design details, time lines, or product selections. Everyone working on the team also seemed a bit disengaged from one another and definitely not in sink as a team. I knew something felt off after a few months of working with them but I kept pushing forward to get it done, since they seemed to have a good reputation. In the end, the promise of having a pool in a reasonable, agreed upon time was not honored. After 10 months of planning or attempting to plan and after begging for information involving an install time, I was put off and told I've have to get in line. Well, I thought I was in line! I'm not sure how much wait time is reasonable with Aqua. Maybe 10 months is normal for them. If it is I wasn't told this. I was told I'd have a pool by end of May. After several requests for a start time I was told they'd begin construction in mid June with a 6-8 week completion time. Communication was pathetic. The person in charge has a grand opinion of himself and less than poor opinion of others. When I expressed my disappointment the response was "I'm sorry you feel that way." In the end I lost 5,000 of my 10,000 deposit (and that was because he was doing me a favor) because of my decision not to move forward with a company that cares little about its customers. Unfortunately, it was an expensive lesson learned. I hate losing the money, but I feel grateful that I learned who they were before going all in. It could have been a bigger loss had I proceeded. I had to step back a bit before writing this, since I honestly don't think I've ever been treated so poorly, personally or professionally, and I needed to be able to express my thoughts calmly. My bottom line message is to proceed with caution if doing business with this company. read more

Have you ever bought something and gotten home and just feel you've been ripped off. Well if you have and enjoy that feeling, shop here. Do your self a favor and grab any chemical they happen to sell. Then look it up online. There will be at least a 100 percent mark up. Grab any pool toy,pool part or even a service part and look it up. If you use their "platinum pool care service" really pay attention to the chemicals they put in your pool. They use shock and tabs that they don't sell on the floor. If you pay for service with out the platinum contract they will sell you the "higher end" MORE expensive chemicals. Remember it starts from the top! Dishonest over priced flashy business! read more

We first contacted Aqua pools on 12/14/20 requesting a quote for a new in ground pool installation. We received a form letter from Zak Bridges via email response the next day and followed up requesting a consultation and further information...subsequently followed up several times and consistently just got the same form letter as a response every time we emailed. In January 2021 I called the office and spoke with a woman who told me she would forward my request directly to Zak Bridges again. it is now early February 2021 and we have heard nothing further...Extremely poor customer service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. We have moved onto and vendor who responded immediately, came out within a week and furnished a written proposal the very next day. I wish we could give them negative stars if possible. They came out to start weekly maintenance service for our inground pool earlier this month. We had some issues with the filter. Their technician broke the equipment, and the office said there is no replacement for it. Eventually I get an email stating that their owner, Steve, is not interested in servicing our pool anymore as it will "be time consuming and costly." I am so furious. Immediately had another company come out to fix it - they got everything fixed up within a week. Don't ever use this company! read more

Have had Aqua Pools for a few years now. Actually, I'm a "platinum" customer who prepays a $4000 yearly contract for opening/closing services and weekly maintenance. In the past they have been great but I don't know what's happened in the last year or so. I recently received two bills totaling almost a $1000. They had replace a thermal regulator on a heater that was just installed last year. They had also replaced cartridge filters. I looked the prices up online. The cartridge filters online run $64-$75 each, Aqua charged me $92 each plus install. They replaced a Belly Band clamp for $279.99. Belly clamp online was $161.99. I expect them to do a mark up but seems extreme? My most important issue with Aqua is that they did these repairs without getting my approval. No estimate given prior to the work and no authorization asked for. When I received the bills, I called the office. I spoke to a rep in the billing department first. She transferred me to a woman in the service department. I'm sorry I didn't get her name but she has the worst attitude I've encountered. I explained the issue with her. She tried to say the tech had gotten permission. However, I wasn't even home at the time. My brother had been staying at the house and he specifically told the rep that he need to speak to me when I arrived home in the following week. No call from the office or tech but seems the work was already done because I received a bill for it. Well, the response from the woman in the service department was a revelation. Her response was, "Well, what do you want, we can come take the filters out." Tone of voice was "I couldn't care less what your issue is." She missed the whole point of them not getting any authorization for the work because she "didn't bother to LISTEN". She put me off so badly, I asked about a prorated refund if I cancelled my prepaid yearly contract. Her response was, "We don't do that". I asked for a Manager. His name was Danny. He, at least, was professional and did apologize for the miscommunication. His resolution was interesting. He said that Aqua was having a Customer Appreciation Day next week and parts were 20% off so he could give me 20% off my parts. I don't know whether he got the irony of that statement or not but I gave up at that point. I took the 20% discount and told him not to do any further service on the pool aside from the weekly maintenance without a phone call to me for authorization. I don't know if the lack of competition in the area is making them arrogant or they are just uncaring of current customers because they know they have enough potential new customers out there? I'm really disappointed in a company that I wouldn't have hesitated to recommend for service a year ago. read more

We just bought our very first hot tub and we couldn't be happier! Zak made the process super easy. He patiently answered all my million questions. The paperwork was ready when I arrived & all I had to do was sign. Their showroom is gorgeous and very clean. When my fiance went to pick up the hot tub the guys who loaded it were awesome and he was in & out quickly. It was an excellent experience. We try to patronize local businesses - especially ones that are family run and I'm really glad we chose Aqua Pools & Spas. Will definitely buy from them again. Highly recommend. read more

Aqua Pools and Spas repaired our Hot Springs Hot Tub that another dealership could not repair over a 3 month period. Anthony (service tech) assessed, repaired our hot tub in 3 short visits. We have been working with Aqua for over a year on the construction of the pool and spa at our new home. We interviewed several companies and Aqua seemed to have the knowledge, experience and customer service to make a fairly complex design a reality. Now that the pool is complete I can certainly say that Celeste, Powell and the entire team (and they do operate like a team) at Aqua have been fantastic. Any time we had a questions, before during and after construction our inquiries were received and answered promptly and courteously. Everyone who helped with our project was professional and knowledgeable and we couldn't be more happy with the final product.
