I recently had my pool liner changed by Aquacade. It has been a nightmare using this company. When they did it they left a mess, made multiple mistakes but the worst was they messed up my pool light. Kevin actually gave me the electricians name to use since he worked with him before. So if you recommend him, you should stand by your recommendations. Secondly, I was only nasty after you refused to correct the problems that you had with the installation. I am not sure how you could even say I was nasty through all the bickering you and your brother were having on the job anyway. Btw, I had my cousin take care of the electrical issue and there hasn't been a problem since. we had a new pool liner installed last spring we were unhappy with the installation the owner admitted the liner was cut too shorty but instead of replacing "fixed it" it left the border pattern uneven and now the liner is leaking we have been calling since April and no one has come to look at it yet, this is terrible customer service read more

We met with several pool company's in 2022. Many of the them have great ideas, recommendations, plans, but Aquacade stood out. Ultimately we selected Aquacade and couldn't be happier with the results. All around, Aquacade provided a great customer experience and I would highly recommend them. The end result was amazing. Overpriced and sloppy service. They opened the pool, a month later it had not cleared up. One excuse and charge after another. Finally called another pool company to find that the skimmers had never been opened, my pool heater cover had been left off through the winter season and was full of leaves and debris and the hose to let the water out of the pool was not in sight but disconnected and left behind the shed. Unbelievable. Worst service ever. I recovered the maintenance monies by disputing the charges through my credit card with pictures and emails complaining about their carelessness. I do not recommend this company. They really don't care. read more

In reflection, I wish I had Aquacade install my inground. Would have preferred the local small business than the company we utilized, well respected but from way out east in Suffolk. But now, I use Aquacade for supplies, chemicals and accessories. Always courteous and knowledgeable service and willing to take the time to explain or troubleshoot. Never pressured or convinced to buy something, sometimes they test my water and tell me it's fine, everyone else wants me to make additional adjustments with the same sample! They also have parts and service for Polaris vacuums. They rebuilt my robot 2 years ago and runs smooth and efficiently. read more

These people are liers. I have a leak in the pool and the owner came and told me he would get a diver to look for the leak. instead they send two people, who pumped out the pool and tried to look for and see where it goes, these two people where not divers and did not have the expertise to find the leak. they said that the owner would call me. No calls; I must have called 10 times, and each time was an excuse. (they have covid, they are on vacation, he will call you ASAP.) Finally Two other people show up and basically look at the pool and leave, they said the owner will call you. The whole summer came and gone and no one ever shows up. I had to fill the pool 2 times because of the leak. Water is not cheap in queens.... The icing on the cake was that they sent a bill for $441.00. I call I write to them in regards to the bill , no answer. it is now December and this is the fourth bill and now is $454.35. I'm not going to pay them they never fixed the problem. Great experience working with them. We're renovating our pool and workers (from a different company) told us last minute they needed 2 parts to raise the skimmer. We called several stores near us to check if they have the part in stock. Most didn't and two places said they did but when we got there they were wrong. Called Aquacade and the gentleman who answered the phone was very knowledgeable and efficient. We drove there and he even held the parts for us at the counter. They know their stuff. read more

There is no customer service. Every time they have done something for us they did it wrong. Service people came in and asked who did the work because it was wrong. They came to fix a light that they sold us and installed. They told us it was the wrong light we would have to buy a new light. We then found the light they supposedly fixed on the bottom of the pool. Emails and calls have not been answered. They are not a good company. read more

15 years ago I had Aquacade install an in ground pool for me, after being promised the moon, I was lucky I got a pool. After months of in house fighting amongst the sales people, I finally had a pool. I recently decided to install a heater for the pool only to find out I DON'T HAVE A PERMIT FOR MY POOL. After calling Aquacade numerous times and only after threatening to call the Better Business Bureau I received a call back from Kevin (1 of the owners) who told me "I don't have the time for this SHIT and don't call hear telling my people that your going to call the BBB, I guarantee their is a permit in the Town, their a bunch of ass holes who have no idea what there doing" Well needless to say there was no permit. After almost 4 months of call Aqucade asking what's going on I received a letter telling me My pool was not installed to code. I have still not heard back from Kevin. I would not recommend Aquacade to my enemies. read more

I had them since 2006, servicing my pool, but this year i'm so disappointed and disgusted. I decided to open early even though its still cold but because i planned a graduation party for my daughter and i want the pool open. So they open my pool but then there's a problem with my filter its not working and i asked them make sure have someone fix it before the party, they said I'm on schedule and no one showed up till the party, they just don't care about their customer, they are not reliable if you need them. This company is on its way downhill in my opinion. This is the 3rd season I have used them to handle my pool opening, closing and weekly vacuuming and honestly will probably be my last. Their customer service has become non-existent. They give you two email addresses to contact them with any questions but they never get back to you. I had a leaky pool filter since last summer and they only said it was an issue now and didn't bother vacuuming my pool they day before the hottest day so far of the summer so we couldn't even enjoy the pool. They also cheat you. I pay for a seasonal vacuuming yet they somehow charge your for a non scheduled vacuuming fee after your pool is opened before they consider the seasonal package in effect. They said I needed to replace my filter.. I asked for the cost beforehand. No one told me anything and I come home only to find out they replaced it and it would cost me over 1g for the unit and the labor. They also didn't bother to take the old unit to dispose of it. Instead they left it on the street. I'm not even sure if it will be taken on the next garbage day or if I need to call the town to schedule a special pick up. I am very unsatisfied. I have given them thousands of dollars and expect great customer service and communication for the amount I have spent of their services. They are local but I'd rather spend more money to get another company with better customer service than to use them again next season. read more

Doesn't return phone calls and they will overcharge you as much as they think they can get away with. Warning if you use them they will take advantage and rip you off. read more
