This is a clean and newer facility with ample changing rooms and courteous staff. My daughter loves going here for semi-private classes.

For the past 9.5yrs our kids have taken swim lessons with another swim school and this past year we…read moreswitched to Big Blue. The biggest reason for our switch was availability and the fact that it is simply a month-to-month commitment. Another big plus is that if my child exceeds the expectations of a particular level they can be moved up during the month, they aren't stuck for a season. The facilities are large and very clean. I really enjoy the large viewing space the parents have to choose from - either pool side or in the air conditioning behind the wall-to-wall glass. The plentiful changing rooms are a bonus as are the showers. The staff has always been very welcoming and kind to myself and our kids and are quick to greet new families. There have been a handful of occasions where they've had fun activities for non-swimming siblings to partake in while lessons are going to the swimming sibling. I really appreciate the child-to-swim coach ratio and how organized the entire operation is. My only hesitation to give five stars is the availability of classes before 5pm. The earliest lessons available M-F are at 3:30pm and lessons are every 30minutes after that (4pm, 4:30pm, etc). Once your child moves up to a certain skill level available times get later, like 5pm or after. Our son moved up a level during the summer and originally there were no M-F time slots available at all and when one did open up it was at 6 or 6:30pm which is dinnertime for our family. Our son was in his last month of swim classes so we opted to have him just stay in the same level instead of graduating up, but it was disappointing. I have referred friends to Big Blue and will continue to do so. It really is a great swim school and I am grateful we had such a good experience with them over the last year.

She even said, it's easier to teach children and while this may be factual the context of the comment had a negative impact to the hearer. Her price point was fair, the pool is small and not deep so difficult to learn things like treading water etc... great location in Rockwall and she was oddly pleasant what i mean is she seemed a bit uncomfortable I'm not sure if this is her innate demeanor or she was uncomfortable around specific types of people, not certain just and observation.

Some of the things we like:…read more -Lessons are semi-private, meaning there are only 2 kids in the class. -Classes are held in a private residential pool that is clean and shaded. -There are three different seating areas where parents/families can sit to watch the lesson. At least one area is always in the shade. -We work with Kale. Since he is also a school teacher, he understands how to be calm and encouraging, yet firm and disciplined. We have never had Anne as our instructor, but she handles the business end of it, and has always been friendly and organized. I think very highly of their character. -Students swim for the ENTIRE thirty minutes. They never waste time sitting on the step waiting for someone else to take a turn. ***This is very different from the large swim school we tried last year. The classes were so big that only 10-15 minutes was spent swimming. The rest of the time was spent sitting on the step waiting for the other kids to take their turns. - While the instructor (Kale) works with one child privately, he gives the other child an assignment or task to work on independently. Examples of independent tasks for a beginner: putting face underwater on the step to grab fish; wearing a flotation device to practice scooping; and using a barbell to kick from one side of the pool to the other. -The price is very reasonable. It only cost $10 more for a semi-private class here (only 2 students in the class) than a group class with 6 students at a large swim school. Worth it.

I came and I saw how this swim school operates and I was impressed. We enrolled right away. Classes are really small and the teachers give great personalized instruction to each kid. My girl, who was afraid to put her face in the water, went from hanging on the side of the pool to swimming 1/2 way across the width of the pool (without floaties or help!) within a matter of weeks. They do a temp check upon entering the school for kids and parents alike and have spaced out chairs for parent viewing. And they are constantly cleaning the space. We love coming here to swim!

It is right off of 121 and is super convenient, no matter where you are coming from. Cleanliness: 5/5. A lot of pools and schools can sometimes feel cluttered. Every time I've been everything has been very organized. Its a swim school so obviously there will be water in common areas near the pool. I am so grateful that they have adult swimming classes. I do wish they had alternative time options, but just the fact they have this is a 5/5 for me. The staff and instructors are all very friendly. Everyone always seems to have a smile on their face which makes getting into a pool a little less anxious. I have never had any issues with customer service. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for swim lessons, regardless if it is for adults or kids! You will not be disappointed!

They have a revolving door of instructors and he has never had the same one consistently more than 3 weeks in a row over the course of an entire year. Can't happen when they change instructors all the time. They always either start late or end early, and with 4 kids in the class they get very little one on one with the instructor. It feels like a waste of time and they are just trying to take your money with no concern over developing each child. Just going through the motions.

Either staff didn't show or pool equipment was broken, which is all understandable. I asked them to stop our membership as we have 4 make up classes and summer is upon us. Their response is as follow: Good afternoon, I am so sorry about the late response on our part, unfortunately you guys do have to be enrolled for at least on day per week of swimming to be able to use those makeup lessons. So we have to continue paying to receive the service we already paid for and was canceled by them. I will take my losses and don't want any compensation, but want every family to be aware of how they treat their customers. Rest assured we won't be back to finish our current month.
