Just got my first tattoo from Tony last night. Tony is such a fantastic artist. We collaborated well on what I wanted to do and it turned out even better than I imagined. 7 hours is a long time but we past the time nicely watching TV. He had a great set up of streaming services to help keep me distracted and it wasn't very painful at all. Until the highlighting at the end but it was well worth it. Sept 15th I chatted with Tony on FB messenger. He asked for $40 to get started and I venmo'd him the money on the16th. On the 17th he sent me a sample drawing of what I had asked for. on the 18th I messaged back asking for some minor changes. Here is where my experience went downhill. He never read the Sept 18th message. I messaged again on the 21st, 23rd and 24th but all went unread. On the 26th I texted him directly but he did not respond to that either. At this point, I switched to another phone, I called his business, no answer, but he did text me apologizing for missing my call. I asked why he was ignoring me. He said he was busy and would get back to me on Mon or Tues. It's now Wed, still no response. I am not used to chasing people down for services I am paying for but here I am. I just have to accept that I lost $40 and will take my business somewhere else. I am sure he does amazing work, but I will never know. I wanted to make my fiancé's first Father's Day present special, so I surprised him a few days early with something he's been wanting: a new tattoo! I went a couple weeks ago to talk to Tony about the idea of Nordic runes in our son's name since we call him our little Viking. I also wanted to establish a relationship with Tony since we wanted him to do matching tattoos for us after our wedding this fall. Tony was very kind and patient, scheduled both the Father's Day appointment, and our wedding tattoos, and told me to text him my ideas. When we showed up this afternoon, Tony greeted us and made sure my fiancé had some sustenance in his system so he wouldn't pass out during the session. It was a simple design and Tony finished it quickly. Charlie loves it! Overall it was a really great experience and we are really looking forward to coming back to the shop! Also, the shop is awesome! The decor is cool; I love the aquatic theme. The seating in the front is comfy, they have complimentary snacks and a candy jar. KJ started a tattoo- scheduled another date to complete. After driving over 45 min to that appt he was not there and message to say he was ill and not able to make it. Which I completely understand with Covid. Was not even horribly upset after the drive. Tried for over a month to rescheduled and he totally ignored MULTIPLE attempts to touch bases to finish. This place is the best! Just walking in puts you at ease as the theme is ocean...... and can't relax around the water. I came here to cover up a bad tattoo at the urging of my daughter.
