AH came to us by way of a referral from our compadres. We interviewed MANY pool contractors and some of the bids were outrageous! Turns out some thought that I was asking for a pool lined in gold -- and that based on the price! No thanks, just a regular, albeit large, deep pool and spa! Once we were ready to go, Oscar was ready! We asked for the pool, spa, and outdoor kitchen/island and he was quick to provide us a sketch that gave us a pretty close to realistic work up of what we wanted! His price was more than fair, and he was extremely patient, thorough and helpful as we worked out the final details. Communication was clear and prompt throughout the process and it appeared that the communication with his crew was great! As for the crew, we found them to be top notch! I asked many questions and they were happy to help me understand each part of the job and keep me informed of the next steps. Hiccups and surprises during the construction did come up, and we totally expected it. With each curveball, Oscar was fair in his role and assessment of the situation. I was completely impressed by the levels of accountability that he assumed and the professionalism of his interaction. I did add/change a few things well into our construction and it never seemed to annoy Oscar. He quickly changed gears or added a few things, making sure that his crew was clear on what was happening. I hired Aquatic Horizon based on a referral from one of my neighbors. Oscar came over to take measurements and to get an idea of what we wanted. He talked a good game. During the project, it was very disappointing to find out that Oscar's employees drink on the job. I found empty and broken beer bottles near the recently installed pool equipment. When i brought it to Oscar's attention, he was not surprised and he said that he was already aware that his workers drink on the job and that they should know better. As the project continued, there were other issues that needed to be resolved and took some time to do so. The experience with AH could have been better, especially with the money that we paid. According to our pool guy, he gave us the cheapest pool vacuum on the market, none of his employees provided any training on how to properly use the pool equipment, and we recently had to upgrade our gas meter along with the pipes and fittings. We had issues with our pool heater and when I would let Oscar know, he would say that his workers could not work on the heater because it would void the warranty. So, I ended up using the Pentair warranty and a technician came out to re-program the pump because it was programmed incorrectly. Our gas bill was increasing dramatically ever since we were able to turn on the pool heater. Come to find out, that the pipes and fittings that Oscar's employees used were not correctly sized and were poorly installed. We are very lucky not to have a gas leak or worse. The only issue that Oscar was concerned about, was getting paid. Please think twice before hiring Aquatic Horizon Pools and Spas. read more

Run away from this company! We just had our pool done with Oscar whom btw (CEO) of the company. He's extremely do poor job, poor work ethic and poor communication. Oscar take forever completing the project. Oscar never come to visit on-site, after each completion job to supervise the work. He only care about you signing the contract. His contract is very vague and only benefiting his company. Anything wrong it's the homeowner problem. Our brand new pool already Has broken water fountain, very bad discoloration of the plaster and LEAK!!yes LEAK!! Our water drain way more faster then regular pool!! (We compare with our old pool in the same area) And it's not even summer! He send his people to just keep touching the ground. No other measure and he claim no leak! He could careless That you have proof and you have to beg him to come and fix which he didn't! If you go hire someone to look at the leak he threaten to void the warranty! But then he will file complain against home owner. He will not work with you to solve the problem. Again all he want is the money!! We got several estimates from people in the area, and Oscar's was by far the best estimate. When Oscar first came to us, he explained the whole process, step by step and gave us many options. In addition, but he helped to save money with things we didn't need. Oscar got all permits right after we signed the contract and started the process immediately. Jesus and his team were very punctual with the timing estimated for the work, and Oscar who is the owner, was involved beginning to end.They finished a lot sooner than expected. The work was beautifully done, and everything was explained to me, in regards to the equipment. It has now been 5 months since my entire backyard was remodeled and every day when I wake up, I look at it through my master bedroom window and admire the work that was done by Oscar and team. My entire family is enjoying it to the max. Your house will become the house to go to for every event if you get the work by Oscar. I have called Oscar, Jesus and Ralph with questions and they all answer my calls right away. I would give more than 5 stars if i could. I recommend Aquatic Horizon pool and spas 101%. Not only did he work with our budget, but he had some great ideas that were very unique nothing compared to the other places we checked out when we were shopping around. Oscar was referred to me by my neighbor. Once I got ahold of oscar, we set a time for him to come out to see the property and for him to give us a quote for the job. We talked for about 30 min and he did his measurements to understand what we were requesting for the pool. He indicated it would be a few day for him to provide a quote for the job. Horrible! This was the worst experience I've ever had. I was told my pool project would take 6 weeks it took 4 months to complete. We failed every inspection. I only seen him the first part of the build. The concrete mason finish the electrical for the pool because his electrician was busy. They had to redo a section of the pool decking because the skimmer did not align correctly. This man wanted my final payment and the job was not even complete, he put a lien in my property for this. I would try to contact him and he would not respond. Oscar didn't even have the courtesy of coming over to pick up his last or even show how to operate the pool equipment. By far one of the worst experiences I've ever had Oscar and his crew are literally some of the worst I have ever dealt with, six months in and we are still having tons of issues, they cannot get anything right, cement, coping, pool plaster, all looks like crap, amateurs 100% . they do not know what they're doing they are learning as they go. these guys were referred to us by family member which they are also dealing with headaches from these guys. they are just looking for the next job and forget about your job, if you're thinking of using these guys run and stay clear of them just a warning. if you need to pay a little bit more do so I'm sure it will be 10 times better than what you would get from them aquatic Horizon pools is in the wrong business they don't know what they are doing. Or better yet they have the wrong people working for them.
