Previous Review: Mike and Andy showed up to repair my Hot Tub and apparently they spent about 20-25 minutes each diagnosing my hot tub and came to the conclusion that my pumps are bad, my heater is bad and I have numerous leaks. They parked their truck in my driveway at 10:39am and arrived to my hot tub at 10:43am. At 10:45am one person walked away from the tub and at 10:47am one of them urinated in my yard and then proceeded to walk to check out my yard for another minute or so. At 11:03am their truck was gone from my driveway and the $150 cash they convinced my wife to leave them because they couldn't come when she was home (we never indicated it was an emergency) was gone. I would have never known about this experience if my wife didn't arrive home at 11:15am (earlier than expected) and wonder why no one was here and the money was gone. Thank God we have surveillance cameras in place. These guys are liars, shady and thieves. I have no problem paying the $150 service call and any additional labor at $80 an hour to repair my tub, I do have a problem with someone ripping me off and telling me my top of the line Hot Springs Envoy that is 5 years old is basically shot. I wanted to part ways amicably, but then he told me how much he was going to refund my deposit for. The deposit was $26k. He said he made a path to the site on property, and made the sand mound. He claimed it was fully approved by the SEO and thus his work was worth $17k. I found a new septic installer, got a quote, then told them the sand mound was completely done. They started work, and refunded me $4k, stating the SEO was not happy, and they had to get more loads of sand delivered. All I know for sure is that Josh 1. Delayed my project with excuse after excuse. 2. Bailed on it eventually, stating he had too much work on his docket. (showing his excuses were garbage to begin with, he simply took on too much work) 3. Lied about the state of the work he had done. 4. Did not refund me an adequate amount. Even assuming the new septic installer over-charged me, more than 4X the price of the work? unlikely. When I asked for an accounting of the $17k work, he refused to send it. When I asked him why the new installer claimed it was only $4k of work, he said they were lying. When I told him the SEO said the sand mound was not correct as he had claimed, he ghosted me. It seems to me he took on too much work, then instead of making things right, lied about the state of work, and under-refunded me.

The price for the work was very reasonable and well below some other numbers that I heard thrown around. Bulk of the work was done in one day, with touch ups and such done the following day as they lost daylight (which is completely understandable).
