We've had about 8 sessions so far and I can't say enough good things about Treci! From the very first lesson, Treci was able to earn my toddlers trust and she is so intentional in how she approaches each lesson. We had tried lessons with another swim instructor before which went terribly (lots of tears and begging to never go back), so meeting Treci and seeing how excited our toddler is to go to swim with Treci has been wonderful. She is incredible with kids and has a natural ability to connect with them and encourage them. She incorporates so much fun in her lessons without taking away focus on the goal of the session. After 2 years of group swim lessons (from ages 1-3), my son started protesting and throwing tantrums before each class. We decided to take some time off and try some private lessons after a few months (once he was 3.5). We took him to Treci and she has been wonderful. I brought my grandson on Saturday. We had a great day. The staff were very kind and very kind to the animals. We loved the bird exhibit. We fed the birds and held them on sticks. We found this hidden gem after multiple trials and errors with other establishments. The instructor focuses on the kids in a private session to teach them how to survive in water (they don't play in the water). She has +40yrs educational credentials and is backed by a graduate degree to provide the right tools and resources to educate and teach others how to swim focusing on children. I am happy to say that for the first time ever in a pool I was able to float on my back. That might not sound like much to most people, but an age 75 I have tried many times and today was a first. I tried out this place last month based on seeing raves about it and hoping Ms.Treci can help my almost 3yo son to be more comfortable being in the pool. We had a talk over the phone to share my concerns and that I already expressed that my son had tried other centers nearby and had same results. I told her hes usually comfortable if the teacher is a woman and she says that Brandon is his best teacher and just give it a try. And so we did.. we tried out the Northridge location but did not realize that it was a residential place..it smelled of dog piss as we walked thru going to the pool and there were dog pads/poop around..(not really sanitary). We still went thru despite.. my son only lasted 5minutes being in the pool.. Brandon did not even attempt to persuade or let him be comfortable..he just stared at my son and waited..it was really a bad experience that we did not want to go back. I signed up for two classes initially but we did not want to go back, we called/ emailed the office asking for a refund..after trying couple times..they agreed to send a check for partial refund but its already been a month and still no refund back. I will not recommend this place.. totally bad experience with owner and staff :( read more

We've had the BEST experience with coach Treci! She is so beyond patient with my 3 1/2 year old, which I can't imagine is always easy- especially because he started off so scared of the water. We have been taking our daughter for 2 years now. She is 6 years old. Taking her to see Treci and Brandon has really helped make her more comfortable and confident in the water. She is treading water and gliding on her own. Treci and Brandon are incredibly patient and kind. It takes a certain level of emotional intelligence to get certain swimmers comfortable moving to the next step, that might seem scary to kids but they really work with them and do their best to get them through it. Ms. Treci is a wonderful swimming instructor. She is patient, kind and an absolute Godsend. Just read her bio on the company's website and you will be impressed. Then, when you meet her, she will exceed your expectations. Our son has been taking 30 minute private lessons with her at the Bel Air Wise location. The school is secure and private. There is a security guard at the entrance who checks us in every time we visit. The saltwater pool is heated and clean. The facility is beautiful. But, the best thing about this place is Ms. Treci. My son had never been in a pool without a life jacket before taking lessons, and after just 1 lesson he has adapted and adores Ms. Treci. She gained his trust so quickly and loves coming to his swimming lessons twice a week. The scheduling is flexible. They work with you. Worst swim school ever! I was looking for a place for my daughter on the spectrum and Treci wasn't able to teach mu daughter and I was forced to get an aide with my own extra expense which was never mentioned before. And when they weren't able to get an aide they said they'll try without an aide and just cut it short if they cannot continue. My daughter doesn't even have severe behavior issues. She's doing just fine with the new instructor from different school this year. We totally wasted our time and money! I'd give a negative star if I was able to. I would leave no stars if I could. I called to inquire about swim lessons for my two year old. The schedule wasn't out yet, but they assured me it would work out, I proceeded to pay $70, $35 registration fee and $35 for one class. The schedule came out and since me and my husband both work there were no times available. I called at least 10 times to get a refund, they said they couldn't?? Or didn't want to. I was told I would receive a call back every time and never did. Terrible service, feel taken advantage of and lied to. They even said the owner would call me, never happened. I have been bringing my son to Treci for the last two summers and with her assistance he has developed his swimming abilities exponentially compared to other swimming classes I had taken him to. Treci is firm in her teaching but makes the student know that she's their biggest supporter. My son has difficulty focusing at times and Treci has shown the patience of Job with him to the point that he swims on his own now. Swimming is critical for my little guy since he loves the water as much as a fish and now with Treci's help he swims and can enjoy all water related activities. Thanks Treci! read more

My only gripe is that her swimming lessons are done at her backyard swimming pool. Although, her somewhat professional website made it appear lessons are done in a real aquatic center. This was the reason why I bought the groupon deal. Because the lessons are done in her private home, there are dog poops on the grass, flies and stinks. While watching her give swimming lessons, it seems she knows how to handle young children which I found positive. I hope she updates her deals to indicate that her lessons at her own swimming pool instead of at a aquatic center. read more

Treci and her team are absolutely wonderful. They were committed to creating a convenient schedule for my son even when it got complicated. They always returned calls promptly. My son was super excited to go the pool on his first day, but cried and did not want to go into the pool when he got there. Treci (the director) came from the office and very calmly explained to my son that she had spoken to his Mommy and that I had picked this program because I wanted the best for him.
