The restaurant is very clean with nice decor. Customer service was on point as well. I was recommended the beef shawarma which I ordered and I also got my delicious Falafel Sandwich! Everything is made fresh so your order may take a good 15+ mins. My order took about 20 mins or so but they were working on several other orders. They have a nice selection of deserts on display which looked delicious! My Beef Shawarma was definitely fresh and was tasty but in my personal opinion lacked just a bit of flavor but it was still good! Now my Falafel sandwich AMAZING!!! The layout and venue is very nice and clean. The restaurant is spacious, and the restrooms are very clean. Staff was friendly! My biggest problem was the food portions. I got a Beef Kabob Bowl, which was simply a ton of rice with four little pieces of beef. For $13.99, I was expecting a bit more protein. It took them about 20-minutes to get the food ready when we were the only people there, which I can somewhat understand since it tasted fresh. The food here was AMAZING! I had the Lamb kabob wrap and man... the pita bread was on another level, it was crisp and had char on it and gave it that char taste. Everything was good, the little one liked his kids chicken and I thought it tasted good too. There is plenty of parking at the rear of the location, there is plenty of parking, if is accessible at the front but there is no parking in the front. They do not have a soda station only sell canned soda and different other bottled options. Okay people, here is the reality. My friend and I order one plate only, prices are too high for the amount of food. Food flavor is specifically from East and West Egypt which makes a big difference. To my taste food is good but not over the moon. The service is okay, friendly came to ask once how we were doing. Also I don't like that food is served in plastic containers. The ambience is good very clean and music appropriate for the restaurant, this is a family restaurant, not romantic. The reason why I am giving a three start is because, plastic containers are not to serve when dining in, desert price are also too high, I didn't want to spend on it but I might return to taste another occasion. I'm not going to lie, the food was great. It was really good but it was super expensive. It was $55 for two plates and I didn't even eat at the restaurant or get dessert, I ordered for pick up. Also they seem to skimp on the pita bread. They put 3 for two plates. They should have at least put 4. Almost $60 for take out? Without dessert? I really wanted a baklava but I was already paying too much. If money is not a problem for you then yes, the food is delicious and I recommend. Decided to finally check out the restaurant now that Veracruz is gone :( The food was pretty tasty. My friend decided to get their gyro wrap to see how it was and he was happy. I decided to check out the items that are unique to the restaurant and was truly happy with their stew (who's name doesn't appear on the menus posted here yet, wish I had. taken a photo). The stew is really good and will happily order it again. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying their different options. The only problem with the restaurant is that the service can be a bit slow while they work out their logistics in the kitchen, especially if there are a few other parties waiting for their food. I think they're still trying to figure out what kind of restaurant they want to be. They have nice plate ware, but plastic silverware sets like you get from fast food places, and they don't really have water unless you buy a bottle of water. The inside is rather sparse and all mainly table/chair seating since they seemed to have gone with the maximum capacity option. This place just opened a couple of weeks ago, so it's very new. We decided to try it last night. When we walked in, the one detracting factor was the very strong smell of cleaning products. I mean, the place IS immaculate, though, but it would be nicer if you could smell food cooking. The service was polite, friendly, and very willing to make recommendations and answer questions. I had hawowsha (?) I forget how to spell it -but it was Delicious! With a capital D! Sliced ground beef grilled between pita and served with tahini and sour pickles - I've never had it, but it was just great. My mom had the salad with chicken: lots of tomatoes, cucumbers, nice big chunks of chicken kabob meat, crisp lettuce, feta, and toum (that amazing garlic sauce) - very substantial and filling, and mom loved it. My wife had beef kabobs, which she pronounced delectable. It comes served with kind of a vermicelli and rice pilaf, and pita. Which, by the way, is some of the best, most pillowy, tender pita ever. You have to ask for the fluffy pita. And the hummus is silky, perfectly seasoned with salt, garlic, lemon, and excellent olive oil. It was wonderful. As of that weren't enough, we were gifted a piece of baklava each - and I am not kidding when I tell you it is the best I have ever eaten: not so cloyingly sweet as some can be, buttery, flaky, filled with pistachios. Oh my God, it's SO. GOOD. Do yourself a huge favor and have dinner there soon! UPDATE: I have now eaten here three times in the past ten days. I can confidently say that this is the best chicken shawarma that I have ever had. I'm SO stuffed. I regret NOTHING. read more
