The food here was AMAZING! I had the Lamb kabob wrap and man... the pita bread was on another level, it was crisp and had char on it and gave it that char taste. Everything was good, the little one liked his kids chicken and I thought it tasted good too. There is plenty of parking at the rear of the location, there is plenty of parking, if is accessible at the front but there is no parking in the front. They do not have a soda station only sell canned soda and different other bottled options. It is a quiet place and pretty peaceful for now, I'm sure this place will be getting more business soon when everyone finds out about this place. 10/10!! read more

Was pretty empty for a Monday lunch rush guy came out and took our order and we sat down. We waited 10-15 min for our food to come out and it was delicious. We got the shawarma combo and it came out with chicken and meat and it did not disappoint. Plenty of seating inside and plenty of parking out back. It is a big portion so we decided to share a meal. Okay people, here is the reality. My friend and I order one plate only, prices are too high for the amount of food. Food flavor is specifically from East and West Egypt which makes a big difference. To my taste food is good but not over the moon. The service is okay, friendly came to ask once how we were doing. Also I don't like that food is served in plastic containers. The ambience is good very clean and music appropriate for the restaurant, this is a family restaurant, not romantic. The reason why I am giving a three start is because, plastic containers are not to serve when dining in, desert price are also too high, I didn't want to spend on it but I might return to taste another occasion. They opened 2 months ago. They are still figuring out their process but the food is incredible. I've been to tons of Mediterranean restaurants, have traveled to turkey and Greece and Arabellas food is up there with all the best. We will be coming back. We got fattoush salad, chicken and beef kabob plate and fries. All were well seasoned and very flavorful. Incredibly friendly service as well. read more

Was there on Friday night. Met a really nice lady, her name is Shaima. She was super helpful recommending dishes and the dessert!!! Everything was really delicious and you get a lot of food for what you pay. The restaurant is not too big. It looks empty because most of the people that came in got their food to go. Place just opened 2 weeks ago. Everything is clean and there is parking on the street or in the back. Service was friendly and helpful. The food took a minute but it was made to order. It came out hot, fresh, and delicious. I had the fatoush salad and the chicken kabobs plate. The plate included a bit of hummus, pita bread, a side salad, rice, and tzatziki. Decided to finally check out the restaurant now that Veracruz is gone :( The food was pretty tasty. My friend decided to get their gyro wrap to see how it was and he was happy. I decided to check out the items that are unique to the restaurant and was truly happy with their stew (who's name doesn't appear on the menus posted here yet, wish I had. taken a photo). The stew is really good and will happily order it again. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying their different options. The only problem with the restaurant is that the service can be a bit slow while they work out their logistics in the kitchen, especially if there are a few other parties waiting for their food. I think they're still trying to figure out what kind of restaurant they want to be. They have nice plate ware, but plastic silverware sets like you get from fast food places, and they don't really have water unless you buy a bottle of water. The inside is rather sparse and all mainly table/chair seating since they seemed to have gone with the maximum capacity option. This place just opened a couple of weeks ago, so it's very new. We decided to try it last night. When we walked in, the one detracting factor was the very strong smell of cleaning products. I mean, the place IS immaculate, though, but it would be nicer if you could smell food cooking. The service was polite, friendly, and very willing to make recommendations and answer questions. I had hawowsha (?) I forget how to spell it -but it was Delicious! With a capital D! Sliced ground beef grilled between pita and served with tahini and sour pickles - I've never had it, but it was just great. My mom had the salad with chicken: lots of tomatoes, cucumbers, nice big chunks of chicken kabob meat, crisp lettuce, feta, and toum (that amazing garlic sauce) - very substantial and filling, and mom loved it. My wife had beef kabobs, which she pronounced delectable. It comes served with kind of a vermicelli and rice pilaf, and pita. Which, by the way, is some of the best, most pillowy, tender pita ever. You have to ask for the fluffy pita. And the hummus is silky, perfectly seasoned with salt, garlic, lemon, and excellent olive oil. It was wonderful. As of that weren't enough, we were gifted a piece of baklava each - and I am not kidding when I tell you it is the best I have ever eaten: not so cloyingly sweet as some can be, buttery, flaky, filled with pistachios. Oh my God, it's SO. GOOD. Do yourself a huge favor and have dinner there soon! UPDATE: I have now eaten here three times in the past ten days. I can confidently say that this is the best chicken shawarma that I have ever had. I'm SO stuffed. I regret NOTHING. read more

I ordered the Kafta wrap and it barely had any meat and it was drowned out by herbs, the flavor profile was decent but considering the price point, I would think that the meat ratio would be more generous. Wow do the prices not make sense! The Olive restaurant is a TWO minute drive away from this place. The Olive has better ambience and better prices (25% less or better based on a quick look). If you haven't had either, go to the Olive. read more

Only thing I can say negative about this place is the wait time for food was pretty long ,it took about 30-40 min for 2 plates and we were the only customers there. This is a great restaurant. I usually get the chicken kabob plate with a bowl of lentil soup. I eat all of the plate except for four pieces of chicken, and the next day I put the chicken in the lentil soup and reheat it. Delicious. I also had the lamb kabob plate and that was great too. read more

This is now my favorite spot and definitely will be back! Shyma, the server/host taking your order, brought the best hospitality. Completely attentive and informed us of the food options. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and you don't feel like you're in Bellflower. A clean modern aesthetic. The food absolutely was AMAZING AND FLAVORFUL! First of all the place looks beautiful. Very nice decor. This a great place for a date, a night out, or a nice family dinner. Service was also very good, and the food was great! We had the kofta wrap (good size) and the beef shawarma platter (great size). Recently, my sisters surprised me for my birthday by taking me there, and we had such a great time. It made the experience even more special. Their pastries are also amazing--fresh and so tasty. What really stands out to me is the customer service. We had such a kind and friendly server who took the time to talk with us, which made us feel so welcome. That's the kind of service that keeps you coming back. We ended up staying for almost three hours because that's how comfortable and relaxed we felt at The Marketplace. The price is based on the exit time so if someone enters when the lower midday price is in effect and leaves after the change to evening pricing, the higher evening price is charged. I had pita bread, fried chicken, fried tilapia, a slice of cheese pizza, some lamb gyro strips and a slice of beef lasagna. That food was good but not wonderful. I was not real happy that some of the food items at the buffet had onions as I am allergic to onions. I am deducting a half point due to the onions. For seconds I requested and got the portion of lamb shank. That was wonderful. Drinks were included and I had "wooder" and Orange Fanta. Drink station was self serve. I was disappointed that Pepsi was not available. I am deducting a half point due to lack of Pepsi available. Men's washroom was clean and had paper towels available... good. I have a bone to pick concerning the personal appearance of the guys working at this establishment. I am glad they wore t shirts but I noticed that the guyd all failed to tuck their shirts in. I consider that to be highly unprofessional and I think that they looked like slobs. This is something I am OCD about. I believe it ought to be compulsory for guys to tuck their shirts in under ordinary circumstances so I am deducting one point. If I was to assign a letter grade as is done in school this establishment would be in there solid with a C.
