    Greek Ribeye Steak Wrap
    Mimi V.

I always love coming here, workers are always very kind, patient, and attentive! The girl who took my order let me take my time and our busser brought lots of sauce and offered refills. There's a lot on the menu and I've tried the savory chicken crepe, burger, chicken panini, fettuccine Alfredo, but the grilled steak wrap is my favorite! I will say when I tried the onion rings once they were quite greasy, but the sweet potato fries with the ranch are delicious! Each dish is around 20-25 dollars but the portions are large I typically share with my mom or take half home so it's a good value. Each entree comes with 2 sides as well so lots of variety! You order upon entering and they bring it out to your table, it's a nice casual place to grab lunch and breakfast!

I'll never understand how fast food can easily cost $20 for processed, low-quality meals... when you can come through the drive-thru at Marketplace Grill and get something fresh, healthy, and actually satisfying for the same price.Their Greek salad is one of my go-tos--loaded with fresh ingredients and topped with perfectly cooked chicken or steak. You can taste the difference right away. Everything feels clean, flavorful, and made with care. What I love most is the convenience. It's quick, it's close, and I don't have to sacrifice eating healthy just because I'm on the go. I come here at least once a week! The menu is huge, but it's still easy to keep it simple and eat clean--honestly feels like something a doctor would approve of.If you're tired of spending money on greasy fast food and want a better option without giving up convenience, this spot is a no-brainer.

The service and food here is excellent. I've been here for breakfast/brunch and even on Mother's Day and the service was still spectacular. Mariel is one of the managers and she is always on the floor helping out and making sure every guest is comfortable. The restaurant is always clean and the restrooms also. Another shout out to Mariel for being a fantastic manager/server and all around great employee that is always welcoming with a smile. For food I recommend the Monterey omelette and the Focaccia panini, but honestly everything is good here

I made a return visit to this marketplace, and while the phrase "sophomore slump" did come into play, I'm still keeping my rating at 5 stars since I usually take the average of my visits, and my first one was far superior that it would have been hard to top it. I came in at about 7 PM, and there were plenty of customers inside. Not necessarily a full house, but full enough for me to want to order to go as opposed to dining in, which is what I did last year. It took a while for someone to ring me up despite there not being a line, but at least it gave me some time to look over the menu. My gripe about the menu monitors changing screens frequently still remains, but I knew I wanted the same dish I ordered last year: Salmon & Shrimp. I had thought about a Salmon Wrap, but didn't want to save a few bucks to take a chance at an entree that could have been significantly smaller. A couple of employees were busy talking to each other, possibly about orders that had already been placed, but it didn't take too long for another employee (Griselda?) to take my order. I wish those two employees were more customer-centric, however; if this were my first visit, it would have left a rather sour first impression. I did think about forgoing the Shrimp to save $1.40, but when I asked Griselda if the salmon in the Salmon was the same as the salmon in the Salmon & Shrimp, she answered affirmatively. Without hesitation, I elected to retain the shrimp as it seemed that was the only difference besides maybe the type of bread; the Salmon & Shrimp comes with focaccia bread, but the Salmon Plate comes with pita bread. I asked Griselda how long it'd take for the kitchen to prepare my order, and she estimated between 10 and 15 minutes. I clocked the wait time at about 12 minutes here. There were a few empty tables inside, but I sat at a booth seat facing the front door and away from the front counter. When my order was ready for pickup, they called my name, and I went up to the counter to pick up my order. Another reason why I took my order to go was because I had an insulated bag in my trunk, and the bag kept my meal warm during the drive home. My meal was in a pretty large takeout container made of type 6 plastic. It was a little larger than your standard takeout box, but even that larger box was a little small for the amount of food I got. The focaccia bread was on top of the salmon, which was next to the vegetables and shrimp; all of that sat on top of the risotto. Maybe a bento box would have worked better here with all the different components of this meal, but then again, it'd have to be a pretty big bento box to fit all that lol. Everything tasted about the same as last year, though I think the quality of the salmon itself dwindled a bit. Like the filet was burnt in a few places, but the burnt spots weren't too distracting to my enjoyment of the meal. Last year, I used some extra sauce on one of their dining tables to give the salmon some flavor; luckily, I had some sauce at home to do just that. The focaccia bread resembled the bread used in a panini, and I wish they added some whipped butter in my meal as that would have perfectly complemented the bread, and perhaps the salmon as well. Steamed vegetables were just your ordinary steamed vegetables. Shrimp were a nice add-on with a good amount of flavor in each bite. But man, that risotto was definitely something! It was so flavorful that I dared not add any sauce for fear that it would have evoked the "too much good is no good" adage I've mentioned in several of my other reviews. Overall, I still enjoyed my meal, but if I had based my rating off of this last visit alone, I would have given 4 stars instead of 5. However, the average still remains closer to 5 than 4. It's more like a 9.1 or 9.2 out of 10. I can safely say that unless you have some sauces at home that can add some flavoring to your meal, I would highly recommend dining in, even if there's only one table left, so that you can utilize the various sauces they have on their tables. One last thing I wanted to point out: my receipt had the incorrect time stamp. It was off by ~23 minutes! Someone should take a look at the register to see why the huge discrepancy? I can understand 5 minutes, but 23?!

I enjoyed my lunch here very much. I ordered an Alfredo pasta and it was so delicious. I love the bread that it came with. The pasta was good it wasn't too creamy. It's a really good size portion for the price. I had enough for leftovers later which was great. I love that they make it customizable, I had them remove the tomato's. They have a very large menu. On Wednesdays it's half off wine. I recommend giving this place a try it's very delicious. I ordered a mimosa and that was very good too I mean look at the size of the glass! I was pleasantly surprised. The service was good, when you arrive you wait in line you order in the front and then they bring you your food. They have several tables and chairs hightop tables and low seating ones. You can also sit outside if you choose. The restaurant is nice and it's cutely decorated. I'll definitely be coming back I want to try the entire menu.

Those are the potatoes they served me. No salt, no condiments, no flavor. Plain boiled and smashed potatoes.

I've always liked the food at this place, but today was definitely a big miss. My omelette was overcooked and the "home style" potatoes were simply boiled, then smashed. Absolutely zero seasoning and no flavor whatsoever in those potatoes. The coffee and the service was great though. My server was very attentive as well as the busboy. It was very busy for a Monday morning and the ambience is not that. Overall a clean place, but the breakfast could have used some seasoning.

    Shrimp pesto

Went over here today to have shrimp pesto pasta which is the usual dish I always order, everything was good except the food, was disappointed in how there was very little pesto sauce in the dish and usually the pasta is really covered in it

French toast on a plate, as you can see that big ol blotch of cinnamon. Prefer either powder sugar for that palette chill taste

Went to The Marketplace in Downey for brunch on the 4th of July. Wasn't the best option, but not the worst either. We originally tried to go to Black Bear, but their wait was over an hour, so we ended up here instead. It's an order-at-the-counter type of spot, then you find your own table. The menu gave off Cheesecake Factory vibes -- lots of options, some solid picks, but we came for breakfast. We were a party of 10, and the person taking our order had a lot of patience, which we appreciated. We managed to split across a couple of tables, and when a larger one opened up, we asked if we could move. The server's response? Pretty dry. Whether she was over her shift, didn't get the day off, or just wasn't feeling it, she told us in a sharp tone we had to wait for the table to be bussed. Like, relax -- not that serious. Luckily, an older gentleman working the floor stepped in and took care of us. Super attentive and kept things moving. As for the food -- I ordered the French toast, and honestly, I wasn't impressed. It was dry and had uneven blotches of cinnamon, like they tried to make it look fancy but missed. Either use a finer shaker or just go with powdered sugar. It didn't land. The eggs were also dry. I'd suggest using a splash of milk or butter to get that smoother, softer scramble -- more of a French-style (œufs brouillés) vibe.

    Greek salad with chicken
    Cindy D.

The Greek salad with chicken is tossed in a delicious, tangy and craveable dressing but it also comes at a hefty price of $18 and change considering it's a bowl greens with some tomatoes, onions, cucumbers with slices of chicken and pita triangles. The servers are attentive.

    Sweet Crepe
    Jenniffer R.

This will be my last time ordering at this restaurant! I gave them plenty of chances and it keeps getting worse! No way I'll be throwing my money away in this economy! I bought the crepe that is almost $18! I don't mind but what I received was literally a slop! The banana's were so old you could smell them as soon as you open the container and they taste so ripe and mushy! Then they literally throw a whole jar of nutella inside the crepe! It was so horrible!

    Iced Vietnamese coffee

Have had breakfast here a few times. Food was good. Service is great. Sitting available outside and inside. Large chocolate chip cookies is delicious. Vietnamese coffee also really good. Cappuccino was a bit off.

Make sure you come with a few people so everyone can get something different and you can share because the portions are huge. My chicken shawarma plate was like an explosion because every bite you just taste savory chicken with the most fire rice and you get 2 pita breads so you can make yourself nice little bites with salad and hummus and the sauces it comes with are just mouthwatering. The hot Cheeto burrito with the nacho cheese omgoshhhh there is no way you're going to take a bite and have something not to like about it. The overall service and my dine in experience was immaculate, we were greeted by the owner Ali who was running around getting everything done and at the same time the smile never faded away from his face he makes you feel so welcome that you actually want to sit and dine in because it's such a cozy vibe. If you have room left after all this deliciousness make sure you grab some of the best Fresca I've had, next time for sure trying some dessert. 1000/10 experience. Thank you! See you very soon. Not sure if they've improved or what, but it was really tasty by buffet standards and I instantly became a fan of Dimassi's despite my 2 star review from 3 years ago. Since then I've been coming here every other week lol I'm such a huge fan of the large selection of salads and vegetables they have to choose from. I love the parsley salad, cabbage, roasted vegetables, the vegetable soup, and all the onions/tomatoes they have in some of the dishes on the buffet line. I LOVE rice (wow what a surprise) but here? It's such an afterthought for me. I will gladly eat all the roasted chicken, lamb shank, kofta, etc. with all the salads and veggies. It's the healthiest buffet I've ever been to. Sure, I might finish with a few bites of rice or a falafel or two, but I always leave here feeling healthy which is crazy to say after eating a buffet. No one is getting fat off vegetables and braised lamb and chicken. Well, maybe if you eat enough of the fried chicken (which is great by the way). I'm really bummed the Anaheim Hills location closed down, but I have no problems driving over here instead! I think after my next visit I'll finally get $15 off lmao. There is a bell that you have to ring in order to get one. Remember to get it! It's very tender. The salad section was great. It had a good variety of greens, and they were all dressed and seasoned very well. I liked the big cucumber salad and the kale with pita chip salad the most. The pita chips as croutons were very nice and crispy. The hummus section was awesome. My favorite one is the green one. I think it's avocado? You should try them all! Don't get filled up on it, though--save room for the meats! Besides the lamb shank, I liked the kofta and the gyro. The first batch of kofta I had was very juicy, and the second was more on the drier side. Same goes for the gyro. It was cut kind of thick and was a little dry. The garlic sauce they have went very well with it! I also got the beets, and they were my favorite item. They were sweet and tender, cooked to perfection. The cantaloupe and honeydew were both very sweet. I think that's kind of hard to come by these days. Their pudding was okay, not my favorite. I also tried the baklava, and it is definitely one of the better ones I have ever had. Definitely recommend this place, and I will come back.
