Really good Margherita pizza. I came here with co-worked around lunch time. There was ample indoor and outdoor seating. I also had a speciality coffee (can't remember what it was) and it was actually really good.

Stopped in for lunch before a doctor appointment. The restaurant is on the second floor but there is no signage at the front door directing you to either the stairs or the elevator. Once upstairs I seated myself as nobody seemed to look up. I flu d out that I was supposed to order at the counter. Nobody told me. I ordered a lovely looking salade nicoise. Have you ever been served a dish that was too large for the plate/bowl it was served in? This made it very difficult to cut or slice the contents without making a mess all over the table. The flavor was good. I eat large salads daily, many with an assortment of greens. These greens were unusually tough and hard to chew. Strange. I'll come back for dinner sometime in the hopes that this was a singular unfortunate experience.

Stopped into this hidden gem for lunch a couple weeks ago and had a delicious beet salad with chicken (pickled beets! Need I say more?). The salad was gorgeous, the portion size was generous, and I loved the use of produce. It was a sunny day and I was able to sit outside with a view of the bay as the gardeners freshened up the garden. Everyone was super friendly, the food came out quickly, and the space was so relaxing. They change their menu seasonally and I'm excited to see what they have in store for the summer.

This place was great. I work across the street and have wanted to stop by for a while. They have an incredible view and you can sit down and eat. My food was bomb, summer peach salad with grilled chicken. It was ready in no time. It wasn't too busy and the staff were super friendly. Perfect little place tucked in a bunch of medical facilities. You don't even feel like you're in that atmosphere once you step inside.

STEM Kitchen and Garden I stopped by STEM Kitchen and Garden for Tuesday lunch after walking past it a few times and always wanting to check it out. From the outside, the place looked really fancy, so I was curious to see if the food and vibe lived up to it. The ambiance was great! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I ordered the mushroom risotto, and it was delicious! The portion was quite generous, and I appreciated that they had takeout boxes conveniently placed by the water station for anyone who wanted to pack up their leftovers. In terms of pricing, I found it to be pretty fair. Considering the portion size and the quality of the food, it felt like good value for the money. I'd definitely come back again--maybe next time to just grab a coffee. If you're looking for a place with good food, a nice vibe, and a beautiful view, I'd recommend checking this spot out!

Stem Kitchen & Garden Started off with a summer gem salad which included: peaches, dates, tomatoes, and golden balsamic vinaigrette. Then came the flank steak w/ horseradish yogurt, grilled salmon, with sides of scallion, green beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, and broccoli. Finally, we ended with some fantastic desserts. The Hazelnut crunch cake, strawberry rose cheesecake, and strawberry rhubarb tart. The horseradish with the flank steak was my favorite part of the meal, and the hazelnut crunch cake was amazing! There's a nice outside area that would be great on a sunny day. The service was great-- the staff was efficient and friendly. Food was overall pretty good, but the flank steaks were a bit over cooked for my preference and the broccoli were too stiff. But other than that. It was a good meal!

Came here with one other person and we got an outdoor seat! Good: - Beautiful views - you can get a good view of the Dogpatch area from on top of the rooftop! I'm a huge fan of the area it's in - I liked the Brussel sprouts a lot - super yummy and crispy and there are a lot of them for $8 - The tuna melt was half decent - wasn't something memorable but had a lot of ingredients stuffed inside it and was a big portion size - The chocolate dessert was okay but also really sweet Bad: - Long service times - it was hard to find where to go and it's more of a diner experience than one where you feel cared for - had to flag someone down to give us the dessert Overall felt like this was a decent experience view wise but otherwise didn't feel like somewhere I'd visit again unless they open for dinner, then I'd want to give it another try!

One of my favorite lunchtime restaurants. This place has excellent views and plentiful seating for both indoors and outdoors. The food is always fresh and delicious. It can be hard to find if you aren't looking for it, but if you are in the area, I highly recommend it, especially if you like fresh salads. My only criticism is that the follow-up table service seemed lacking the last few times I have been there. It seemed like they were shorthanded; hopefully, something they could rectify.

Lovely ambiance, the staff was outstanding, the Soba Noodle was delicious! Make sure you spend the time in the garden, comfortable seating and views of the bay.

Came here for an end of the quarter lunch with my classmates. Thanks to the close proximity to UCSF Mission Bay, lunch was a five minute walk. There is street parking and garage parking for a fee. The parking garage on third Street is quite expensive so I recommend finding street parking. Behind the restaurant is a tiny garden. I was told that the restaurant uses produce and vegetables from the garden as part of the meal. They have a big indoor space perfect for groups with dim lighting, and modern looking decor. There are also lots of outdoor seating as well. As for the menu, it's pretty limited and mainly consist of burgers, salads and pizza.

Beautiful restaurant conveniently located near UCSF. The back patio was a great place to enjoy lunch and a view. The menu is on the small side but what they did have on it all looked good. Everyone enjoyed their food, so big plus for that. While the staff was friendly, not the most attentive. We stood up at the front register for several minutes waiting for someone to come take the order. They also charge for drink refills..... which is a choice for this type of establishment.

Just had a wonderful team lunch here. It was pretty cold out but my coworkers wanted to sit outside in the lovely courtyard/garden. Turns out they have very strong heat lamps so I was totally comfortable. I had the iceberg wedge salad with tofu and my coworkers had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and the butternut squash pizza. I wish I took better pix of the food - it was beautiful and delicious. Service was excellent. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Street parking wasn't too bad especially compared to other parts of the city. Even on a Friday evening, I was able to find free street parking just a block away. The inside is very spacious. It has a rustic farmhouse meets warehouse vibe with a huge wall full of wine for purchase as well. I like that the tables are pretty spaced out so I don't feel cramped. Dinner was excellent! For starters, we had the scallop with beets and avocado. The scallops were juicy and paired well with the sweet beets and creamy avocado. For my main, I had the trout. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The small crispy potato chips on top added a nice crunch. The asparagus were delightful. They had a subtle "sweetness" that can only be found in fresh, high quality produce. For dessert, we had the olive oil cake. I loved that it wasn't too sweet and paired well with the slightly salty strawberry and the tart lemon curd. Overall, a really good meal! I appreciated that Ungrafted honors the ingredients and aren't trying too hard to be fancy or gimmicky. Service was also friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Would definitely recommend this spot to family and friends!

From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but once you walk in and head upstairs, the whole vibe changes. Most people were dining upstairs, and the views are absolutely beautiful. There's indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the waterfront and across the Bay toward Oakland. It was one of those crisp, clear San Francisco afternoons where everything just felt perfect. One thing I also appreciated -- they do have an elevator, which is great for anyone needing wheelchair accessibility or who simply doesn't want to walk upstairs. The ambience was amazing. Relaxed, waterfront seafood restaurant energy without feeling too touristy. We sat right along the railing and could see the Bay, boats, shipping area, and just the whole waterfront atmosphere. Food-wise: * I ordered the fish and chips -- the batter was crispy and delicious, and the fries were really good too. * My husband got the French toast and really enjoyed it. * We also shared the ceviche with shrimp and fish. The shrimp was excellent. The fish itself was okay, but next time I'd probably order it with just shrimp. Now let's talk about the brunch mimosas... $35 for a bottle with different juice options is honestly a great deal for the location and atmosphere. They accidentally mixed up one of my juices at first, but the staff fixed it quickly and brought another one out right away. Great service all around. We ended up finishing the bottle, relaxing there for over an hour, then walking back along the waterfront afterward. Overall, prices were reasonable, service was friendly, food was delicious, and the location alone makes it worth visiting. Definitely recommend for a weekend brunch or lunch spot on the water. We'll absolutely be back

The staff was friendly, the vibes were great, and the noise level was perfect for a big celebration where everyone could still talk and enjoy themselves. We had a large party of about 22 people, and the drinks were flowing all night and came out great, which definitely helped keep the celebration fun. We all ordered appetizers and entrees at the same time. The appetizers came out quickly, but things became pretty spotty once the entrees started arriving. About a third of the table received their food well before everyone else. Most of us tried to wait until the whole table had their meals before eating, but the delays between dishes coming out were so long that some people's food started getting cold. Then more confusion started happening when the staff realized some of the plates being brought to us were actually meant for other tables. It seemed like there was quite a bit of confusion happening in the kitchen. They assured us our actual orders were still coming, but by that point food just kept appearing at the table. We ended up with dishes we never ordered, which honestly felt wasteful because nobody wanted to eat food intended for another table. Of course, once it had touched our table, it made sense they couldn't reserve it elsewhere. By the time everyone finally got their correct meals, some people were no longer hungry, especially after appetizers, drinks, and the long wait in between courses. A lot of food ended up getting packed up because the timing was just so off. It turned into a bit of a debacle for such a special occasion. That said, the atmosphere and overall celebration itself were still enjoyable, and I'm glad we came. I do think this may be a better spot for smaller groups rather than very large parties, as the food timing and service coordination seemed overwhelmed by the size of ours.

My face scrunched up like I'd bitten into a live battery. The crème was there somewhere, but it got completely bulldozed. One bite was enough. I left the rest. My dentist would approve. Everything was delicious. The quality of every dish really stood out, and I'd happily order all of them again, but here were my favorites: * Sushi Rice: SO good. Definitely a must order. The beef somehow almost tastes like tuna haha. * Fried Rice: I'm obsessed with corn, so this was a must for me. * Maitake Tempura: A must for mushroom lovers. Also, the ranch was incredible. * Kakigori: Absolutely mandatory for dessert. No further notes lol. * Lamb Kofta: Really flavorful and delicious, though next time I'd probably try some other dishes instead. * Avocado: A great option if you want something fresh and green on the table too. * Parker House Rolls: These were good, but probably not my favorite. I think I'm biased because I don't really love rolls in general, and the other dishes felt more unique and memorable to me. These were just the items we had, but the menu changes often, so you may see different dishes when you go. The Sushi Rice is one of the staples though, and I definitely think it's a must try. Overall, such a great experience. Our server was so attentive, and the whole meal felt really memorable. Already planning to bring my boyfriend here for a date night. What a special place!

Promptly seated, and offered sparking water on the house. Had an Ultima Palabra and a Last word…read more(when in Rome). Both were lovely. We later had a cava, which was delicious. To start, we had the chicken nuggets and mushroom profiteroles, which were flavorful but smaller portion sizes. Our favorite items of the night: - Little Gem Salad: 5/5. Super delicious, with the perfect ratio of hazelnut, bacon, and dressing. The bacon was shockingly thick cut, and caramelized to perfection. - Cucumber/Avocado/Pistachio Salad: 4.7/5. Refreshing and fresh. A larger portion for this type of salad. Extremely satisfying. - Grilled Pork, with Kimchi beans and cabbage: 4.7/5. The meat was seasoned to perfection. I would come back just for this dish. Lastly, we went a little crazy with dessert: Chocolate pudding: 4.6/5. Everything you'd expect in a well-made pudding. Buckwheat donuts: 4.3/5. Although the portion and flavor was perfect, strong on the whiskey flavor! Olive Oil Cake: 4.5/5. The chartreuse gave this a bit of flair. I have been profusely recommending this place to my peers and will certainly return. Our server, Claire, made us feel welcomed from the start. The industrial yet warm vibe of the restaurant is the perfect balance between romantic and hip

I've always enjoyed my visits to The Morris. Prices are a bit higher than I'd expect/want…read moreespecially but alas this might just be the reality of San Francisco (notably, between 2024 and 2025 I noticed a 10% or more increase in a lot of menu items). Service is always great and even when I've ordered stuff I didn't like as much, I still had a positive overall experience. Lots of charcuterie, some cheese, caviar, and "nibbles" which are relatively small little starters. The charcuterie is good although definitely not my favorite option in the city. You can order 1, 5 , or everything on the menu. I do wish they had an option for 3 things as there's usually more than 1 I want to try and 5 is way too much. The chicken nuggets and caviar ranch sound great but I honestly found both to be pretty underwhelming. I was surprised that I liked the grilled duck hearts much more as this is normally not even something I would order but did on recommendation of the server. I've been here a few times but realized I had always stuck more to the meat items and smaller courses and charcuterie. I actually think the first course and main course are definitely worth trying after a recent visit. They do vegetables quite well (basically choosing high quality and ripe ingredients and generally letting them shine and not doing too much) and the dishes sound thoughtfully composed. I really enjoyed the hangar steak with chimichurri, early girl tomatoes, and a tiny bit of blue cheese. I don't even like chimichurri normally but I loved this one - it wasn't overly parsely forward. Same thing with the blue cheese - they added it with a lot of restraint (and it's a milder blue cheese) so even as someone generally not a fan, I liked the slight creaminess and tang it gave the dish. The steak was perfectly cooked and I thought hangar steak was an excellent cut for their menu. You get a pretty good portion and ordered with some other dishes, this could definitely be shared. Don't sleep on their fries either. They are much better than they look (I thought they were going to be kind of undercooked but they weren't). The garlic aioli is awesome. You also get quite a few fries so I'd suggest ordering and sharing with whatever else you are having. One thing that I'll note is their seasoning walks the line of too salty. While generally this is what makes the food taste good, some bites may be a bit overseasoned. On the other hand, most of the vegetables I've had did not have too much salt and were a good contrast and provided balance to the meat and fries which were too salty at times. Chocolate puddin dessert with a salty cookie is amazing if you enjoy intense choocolate and desserts with some salt (only the cookie is salty and not the pudding so you can avoid the salt if you want too). I'm not sure why it's $15 but it is very very good.
