Aracely opens for Brunch bright and early at 8am, so it is a great place to hit after a morning bike ride across the bridge. The dishes are well priced as you can get a nice meal for under $20. The scones was unique and I would come back to get another. The burger was decent. It was your comfort burger which is always a great move when you are starving. Really great dining experience on Treasure Island! Aracely cafe was a recommendation from a local and it did not disappoint! The venue is super cute and intimate with a beautiful bar and fireplace. Our waitress recommended the avocado toast and it was super tasty and well balanced with a little bit of heat and acidity. My friend really enjoyed the chilaquiles and the meat I tried was super tender and succulent. Imagine its your wedding and youre trying to have a very simple reception... 1) you arrived there and theres no table linen and napkins thats part of the package that you ordered. 2) They served the food and the main dish is completely different from what was ordered in the package (our wild guess was that its part of a dish from another bigger party trying to cut labor so they served as what was served to them (we nice enough to let this go). 3) we asked for refund for the linen and napkins since they did not fulfill it and manager farhad told the couple that he got to get it touch with the owner and wont be able to refund the same day, 3 days passed and wife have to follow up with photo for them to reply back... in short stay away for doing your events in this place... Location is unique and their outdoor space is delightful. Friendly greeting. We got some appetizers and drinks and after some time the server returned to take our food orders. Service was fair to good overall, except in my party of 8 everyone received their meal at the same time... except me. I think they just forgot. Food was delicious though pricey for the portion size. Got the trip tip sandwich and loved the peppers and mushrooms cut super thin, though it was half the size I expected for the price. Just in case you didn't know, there are exactly two restaurants on Treasure Island. The newer one is Mersea which offers panoramic views of the city from converted shipping containers (review: https://bit.ly/3IXbxtR). This restaurant was pretty well hidden behind a tall hedge across from an athletic field. I made a couple of wrong turns before I found it, and it was a surprising to see such a well-appointed interior space with a fireplace, fully stocked bar, and a large inviting terrace. I had no idea what the background of the restaurant was but since discovered it is owned by chef Linda Edson who has quite a pedigree with French Laundry, Michael Mina's, and Gary Danko's on her resume. No wonder the menu wasn't a mix of bar bites. I decided to try two items. The first was the $12 Burrata, a creamy delight that featured Swiss chard, tat soi (a close cousin to bok choy), and garlic. Definitely a hidden gem, not just of the city but hard to find on the island! Treasure Island! It is nestled deep in the neck of this man made islands woods and found behind a clearing is the most charming, cute little spot with amazing outdoor seating replete with heaters to accommodate the winter months but beautiful scenery that comes alive in spring and summer. Spectacular and breathtaking view of police drills lol but try hard enough and you find yourself in a hidden paradise overall. I favored their take on classic dishes like the all American burger, French toast, salads, avocado toast & oysters available; but I was not such a fan on their unique dishes like the healthy wild Whole Grain Bowl with Pork Shoulder. Not that it didn't taste good, but the medley was just missing something to make it more than a slush pile of healthy choices. Or maybe it was just me! I am not afraid yet to try what else they have to offer and while I certainly won't be driving in traffic to come here, I would time it appropriately and come in the morning or late night to enjoy their menu and ambiance again once more. read more

This place is quite amazing! The ambiance is so so cute and it's right on Treasure Island. We got the French Toast to share and the chilaquiles. Wow the chilaquiles were soooo good!! The sauce was great and it came with short rib. This was tender and flavorful. :) The French toast was delicious and came with a cranberry type topping. The mix of flavors, tart and sweet, just blended very well together. And it came with whipped cream. Yum! You have to check this place out for brunch. Had weekend brunch with some girlfriends here. Made reservations beforehand which I recommend. Really good food and amazing decor. Although Treasure Island is ever-changing and there is alot of construction everywhere, Aracely Cafe is a gem of a place. It is as if you are transported to the Napa wine country without having to leave San Francisco. We sat in their outdoor patio and the weather was perfect. They have umbrellas to block the sun which was really nice. Dishes that we ordered - Small Plates: Burrata, Fried Brussel Sprouts, and the Jumbo Shrimp (all really good and flavorful, I think the burrata which came with a caramelized onion tart was my favorite, but the brussel sprouts with a green onion sauce was a close second) Mains: Egg in a Hole and Yellow Fin Tuna salad - Both good although the egg in a hole dish had what tasted like blue cheese (?) on it, not quite sure but it had a smelly cheese on it which I wish they pointed that out on the menu somehow. It really overpowered the flavors of the dish. The only negative was that my almond milk cappuccino was not very good at all. Hard to describe but it did not have the right consistency and flavor. It was undrinkable. All in all, great place with really good customer service and ambiance. I will be back. read more

A Wonderful Secluded Oasis on Treasure Island. With all the work going on in Treasure Island (TI to the locals), loads of building, road construction, and revamp you have to stay focused. And when you are hungry there you go to Arecely Cafe for lunch or an early dinner. An "almost" hidden gem in the middle of the island. With GPS its a snap. Located at 13th and E and set on an easy grid. We called and made reservations. With covid we recommend calling for current hours or getting there before 7PM closing time. Letty was at the bar filling orders when we came in. She was a fountain of activity. When she came over to greet us she was cheerful and we could tell she liked working here. A plus as you know great service follows. We explained we are on a KETO diet, and she was very accommodating to adjust our order of "Ancho Braised  Goat", on creamy polenta, roasted red peppers, fried serrano pepper, cilantro, to substitute roasted broccoli for the polenta (not KETO) . We were very happy. The food arrived and it was a good portion in a bowl. I must say I couldn't easily identify the wonderful layers of flavor in this, but was happy to have it to it's last drop. Easy to recommend, just know it's a little spicy. Pretty cool spot on treasure island. Call to make reservations. It was a nice place to brunch although the sun was super beaming so don't forget your sunglasses and sunscreen lol. While we were there was a baby shower going so I assume they do small events as well as just your normal dine in. Anyway, food was pretty good. I saw lots of people get the Benedict which looked amazing. I went for the tritip sandwich which was really good! We also had their empanadas and burrata appetizer. The burrata was okay I think I would've rather tired one of their other appetizers. Their chilaquiles were bomb! Lastly their spicy Paloma I highly recommend. Yes, the food and vibe is lovely but they can also make delicious coffee which means I sometimes just walk in to grab a to-go cup. Who knew that within Treasure Island's seemingly desolate town lived this outdoor brunch gem? My coworker sis told me her bro had frequented this place with his bike buddies after their rides and we decided to head over. Weather was overcast but temperate and we were the 2nd batch of customers, which was preferred due to Covid times. The tables were spaced out and our server wore a mask. Menu had breakfast, lunch, small plates, dinner items, and a whole page of drinks. I ordered the freshly squeezed orange juice, croissant French toast, a side of bacon, and a poached egg. Coworker sis ordered the egg in a hole, 2 poached eggs, a side of bacon and the small Burrata plate. Can you tell we've been deprived of going out to brunch? Our server was very sweet and brought our meals out in a timely and accommodating manner. My meal was just what I needed- the croissant was flaky and crispy, cream cheese had the right amount of dulce de leche sweetness and the sliced peaches were perfectly ripe. My poached egg was ideally runny and the thickly cut bacon added a complimentary savory component to the meal. Orange juice was also refreshing! Overall the meal was about $40 each with tax and tip - a bit pricey for brunch but we did order some extras and we were happy to support our local businesses. I'm giving this place the benefit of the doubt and 4-stars bc it's so hard to make it as a small restaurant these days, they are nice people, the menu is interesting, and the food is fresh. That said, there were some disappointments. The empanadas were solid. The breakfast platter was as well. The person who ordered this enjoyed the eggs, potatoes and peppers. The apple cider braised chicken sandwich was also good, and unique. Everything came together to make great flavor. The biggest bummer was the chicken and waffles. For $28 you get one waffle and two bone-in chicken wings doused in sauce. This just felt wrong. The breakfast sandwich is described as being on a brioche bun. Instead it came on an unimpressive flat-bread type of thing. For $18, not worth it. The staff is nice and attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant. I would give it another try but would stay away from high-priced items based on our experience. Too risky. read more

We had high hopes for our brunch reservations at Aracely Café (even if we couldn't pronounce the name). Unfortunately, we were disappointed. We arrived on time but stood outside for about ten minutes before being seated (even though we could see plenty of table empty). Once seated, we had a difficulty time talking because the live music (which was good, and which we were looking forward to as we walked up to the restauant) was just a bit too loud. The waiter eventually came and was friendly enough, and took our orders. I lost track of how long it took before we saw him again (maybe 40 minutes?), but it seemed eternal. So I was so excited when the food arrived. I need not have been. I ordered the wild mushroom grain bowl with a beef liver taco on the side. The grain bowl was well cooked (especially the mushrooms), but the bland was flavor. The liver in the taco was tasty and perhaps the best prepared liver I've eaten (and I've eaten my share of liver), but the crema was too ample and unappealing in both appearance and flavor (too mayo-esque). I should have gotten the chilaquiles, which someone else at the table got (but which we did not share because covid). As a table, we shared the croissant French toast. It was okay, crispy and not overly sweet, but still just okay. The best thing on the table was my gf's open-faced sandwich. The egg was perfectly done and paired well with the pesto and a sharp-tasting cheese, the bacon was thick and just salty enough to tie everything together - and all of it was on a lovely ciabatta (or bread that was tasty enough to be ciabatta). read more

Decided to get a little of everything or a lot depending on how you view it. Had the beef empanada, oysters on a half shell, fried brussels, croissant french toast, pork chop, and a side of bacon. The croissant french toast with the dulce de leche cream cheese and spiced apples had the right amount of sweetness that it didn't need the additional syrup that came with it.
