I had been meaning to check this place out (admittedly, I really liked the blow up chef outside the restaurant that waves in the wind.) It's a lot bigger than I expected, with lots of tables and an open design. It's pretty cool that all the food prep is visible to customers. I ordered a veggie burrito which came with some tortilla chips. There's a good-sized salsa bar with 4-6 salsas to choose from which were all distinct. Veggie burrito was tasty and the beans tasted well-seasoned. Parking is a little confusing since the signs aren't very big and the restaurant is in the bottom of a big apartment complex, however, if you follow the arrows it'll take you to a garage with numbered spots off of Flea Market Place. My best guess was that anything in the retail area that said R### was free to park in as a customer and I didn't have any problems.

I went a complete 360 with Araujo's. The old location on Senter used to be my favorite taqueria. They had the best al pastor. When covid hit, they fell hard. The meat just didnt taste good and the burritos just didnt hit the spot anymore and i stopped going. Fast forward to this location I changed to getting their fries. They use a spiral fry that holds up well and very crunchy. Although its pretty pricey the load up on the meat and toppings. The al pastor is good again and the salsas are always good. Starting to gain my trust back with Araujo's.

Last time I went here was maybe 15 years ago. I didn't go there often because it use to be just cash and I rarely carry cash. After driving by thousands of time I was craving a burrito and decided to go in. They have Apple Pay so that was a plus and I seen a ad outside for the shrimp tacos. The lovely cashier said they're very good and she didn't lie. She even hooked it up with the sauce the way she says tastes best. She was right, oh man the shrimp taco was good, I wish o had more. I also got the super burrito and it was really good too. Something about their rice, it was very flavorful. They have a big selection of sauces so stock up.

The husband and I checked out Araujo's Mexican Grill for a late lunch, and left satisfied. After looking over their menu, we ordered their Carne Asada Fries, Super Burrito, 3x tacos, and horchata and pineapple drinks. Restaurant was bright, clean, and spacious with plenty of seating. Food came out pretty quick and everything was good! The Carne Asada Fries were loaded and generous to share. The Super Burrito and tacos were both flavorful and fulfilling, and their drinks were yummy. Staff was friendly. Parking was a little confusing, but there is a lot around the corner you can park in. Overall, a trendy spot to check out for your next Mexican food craving.

I get my hair done next door and needed some lunch after and this place seems like a good bet. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito and super taco with asada. I also brought back a super burrito (asada) for my guy. The bean and cheese wasn't anything special and I'm almost certain they used canned beans. I've had some amazing bean and cheese burritos but this wasn't it. The super taco was good and had plenty of filling. It comes with meat, beans, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, avocado, and sour cream. My guy said his burrito was good but nothing special. Probably won't be eating here again unless I'm starving and in a pinch. The inside is very cute and they have plenty of tables. Salsa bar is nice and has many options. It was also very clean inside.

Araujo's was so good! My partner and I already want to go back. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The space is huge so great place to bring friends or family. We got the Super Burrito, Super Tacos, and Carne Asada Fries. The meat was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Juicy and tender but not too tough. The ingredients are fresh and they really pack the food with meat and veggies! My favorite was the carne asada fries. The meat was so so good. The fries were different from the usual type of fries but it made them better! Highly recommend coming here for a quick bite. They're so good!

Solid taco spot in Berryessa! We ordered on DoorDash since they had decent lunch promotions happening. I ordered: + Al Pastor Super Taco (4/5): Tortillas were a biiiit soggy, but the al pastor was delicious and flavorful! + Carne Asada Fries (4/5): Super surprised by how much I enjoyed this! The fries were uniquely shaped, and were SOOO crispy even by the time we got to eat it. The carne asada was good, but I felt like it was missing some sort of sauce. After a while, it started to taste a bit dry.

I ordered the shrimp burrito, added pinto beans and subtracted rice. It's a significant sized burrito. But, for nearly 18 dollars (not including tip) it should be! The shrimp were properly cooked but unseasoned. In fact the entire burrito lacked seasoning. The vegetables were raw (onions bell pepper) and the slices of tomato were mushy inside. I honestly have never had a burrito with raw bell peppers before ..... it wasn't horrible but can't say it's something I'd look to eat again. The burrito itself was so poorly wrapped that after two bites it literally unraveled in my hand spilling its contents from its bottom all over the foil and paper plate they served it on. Thank goodness for the Salsa bar ... I only got the Verde salsa which is my favorite salsa and I generally practically drink the stuff. The Verde salsa was ok... not much kick but it did help with the absolute blandness of the 'burrito' which was now more like and shrimp plate with a soggy tortilla. It was not the worst shrimp burrito I've ever had. I'm not ste that's praise but it is true. The Inside is ver modern looking metal chairs etc. and a TV screen the size of an entire wall towed the back. I initially sat by the window but on this extremely vild day one of the workers kept waking in and out talking on their phone letting the freezing air in so I moved by the tiled wall. Where unfortunately the tile was kinda gross with smears of dried food that had not been cleaned off. So... that was unpleasant. The staff taking the order and then giving you your food were quick and seemed efficient if not friendly. Maybe it was early in the lunch hour and they were not fully prepared for the few of us that had wandered in. Maybe it was an off day ... it wasn't terrible but not exactly good. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to come here again to give them another try. Perhaps it's their meat offerings that are getting all the great reviews... perhaps if I come back I'll bring hubby to find out. I'm not sure 3 stars fits the experience but it's not exactly 2 either.... Another instance 1/2 stars are needed.

Eat here yesterday for the first time, and very satisfied with everything, good customer service, the place is clean and the food is very affordable. Big servings and you don't eat much, it. An be for 2 people. Good job to the stuff!

At this location, I've only had take-out but I've been to their other locations before so I know the Mexican food here is good. Huge plus bc this location is a lot closer to me. The first time around, I ordered carne asada fries and it was so good! For 2 people, it definitely was a shareable portion but bc of how tasty it was, we were wanting more. I like how unique the fries were cut/shaved, it's almost like shaving the skin off an apple in a spiral motion. I also like how fresh the pico de gallo and avocado toppings were. Unfortunately, 2nd time around it was a huge dud. The carne asada meat was well over cooked and dry, the fries were cut thicker so it was very potatoey, and there wasn't enough sour cream. We also got a carne asada torta, which was mid. The buns were a bit stale and again the carne asada meat was dry. Hoping it was just an off day and looking forward to dining in to get a better experience. They also have a huge tv which is perfect for game days.

Super Flour Quesadilla (Harina)*. Very good. Lots of toppings

There weren't that many options of sauces when I ate here but it was fine. The birrias and lengua tacos were so good. All the tacos came with two small tortillas to hold in the heaping amount of meat. The horchata here is had more cream than I'm used to. Like more milk was added or something, not enough spices or flavors added in IMO. Ordering was easy, I felt rushed, but it was the waiting to hear my number that was difficult. Listening for the number in the dining area while the music was blasting was difficult, so it's better to wait by the truck. Parking is limited but there are always cars coming and going so if you can wait a little, a spot will open up.
