My husband and I have been using them for over 40 years, and if ever there was an issue with something that they've repaired, they have returned immediately to rectify it. We've always had the service contract. For a small monthly charge, everything in the house is covered under the plan if something goes wrong. Obviously, there's a charge to replace parts, but they're one of the few companies that answers the phone 24/7 when you call in an emergency, and they usually can schedule an appointment right away. I read the other review about the garbage disposal replacement. I recently had the same experience. Yes, it was very expensive to have our garbage disposal replaced, but my husband can't do it anymore and I don't have the strength or the time. The Danboise agent gave me three quotes, one of which included the option of me purchasing the disposal myself for him to install. It was still a bit pricey, but I chose that option and he came back the next day to do the installation. I bought a higher-end disposal so that it would last longer, but unfortunately it was missing a part when the plumber opened the box. I thought I would have to wait for him to return the following day to install the replacement after I went to the store to exchange it, but he was kind enough to do it the same day, right after I returned from the store. Also, the day before, the Danboise HVAC technician came to do our A/C inspection and told me that our A/C was clogged with debris and cottonwood fibers. I needed to have it cleaned. He said he could do it for a charge (which was quite steep), or he could show me how to do it if I got the hose out. I connected the hose, and he showed me how to clean the A/C unit and told me when to clean it. The Danboise technicians don't try and rip you off but are very helpful--and reliable.
