Please trust me when I say to stay with the smaller shops who do a good job at a reasonable price, like McIntyre's Soft Water Service or Wolverine Water Treatment. They've both been around for 40 years with the original owners still working there. They will take their time, not be in a hurry, and explain everything to you. Beauchamps installation people are untrustworthy, sloppy, do a poor job, and leave the house a mess. The sale person said they have 'master plumbers'. The installation person laughed when I mentioned that to him. He said he wish he was a master plumber. Beauchamps has to hire pretty much anywho they can get to get the job done as quickly as they can and hope customer standards are low. They will always be rushed, in a hurry, and learning as they go. They have NO pride in their work. For that, your installation will be sloppy and compromised ! Sales talk a good a talk but you don't see the full picture until installation shows up. Then it's too late. Goto any location and see if you like what you see. The people you will have to deal with when something goes wrong. Think about it and don't be in a hurry to buy. It's a big investment. Don't go for the modern store look as it's all show. Go for those that are honest and will be there for you when something goes wrong. They called me and set up an appointment to review our systems. To be honest, I thought we wouldn't be able to afford fixing out stinky sulfur water. Surprisingly, they got it done at a price we could make work. They gave us quotes for a new water softener, a well pressure tank, and a electrical anode rod. Turns out, our current pressure tank didn't have a safety valve, so we chose to replace that and the anode rod. I really like the modern system they use for sending quotes online where you can select the services you want. Finally, we had a technician come out to do the repair. He was on time, professional, and did excellent work. Best thing ever, we no longer have stinky water!!!! We have been trying to figure this out for 2 years, had called multiple places that had no solutions, and Advance finally made it happen. Thank you!!!

Based on that reputation, I expected quality installation and customer service. We purchased both a water softener and a Dr. Rust system because we were told our well water had a very high iron content. The entire purpose of the Dr. Rust system was to prevent iron staining on our brand-new white siding, stone, driveway, sidewalks, and other exterior surfaces from our irrigation system. A few months after the installation, we discovered rust staining on the exterior of our home. When a technician came out to inspect the system, he found that two wires had never been connected during installation, meaning the Dr. Rust system had not been operating since the day it was installed. I then spoke with the manager, expecting the company to take responsibility for the installation error and discuss restoring our home's exterior. Instead, I was told that we should have contacted them sooner, even though the system had never been functioning because of the installation issue. The only solution offered was to send me a bottle of rust remover. I understand that problems can happen with any installation. What disappointed me most was not that a mistake occurred, but how it was handled afterward. I expected the company to stand behind its work and help restore our property to the condition it would have been in had the system been installed correctly. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

I previously had our water tested by an independent lab and, even though Grant did not know about these lab results, everything he said lined up with the lab results I had. I appreciate the honesty in something that seems like it can sometimes be a shady business. Mike came out for the install. I liked that he came with the right tools for the job and clearly knew what he was doing. He made sure everything was done exactly right and explained the water softener in detail. We have been using them for salt deliveries, which have been on time and reliable. Water Boy feels like a very wholesome and positive family company, which I very much prefer over some faceless corporation with cheesy sales people.
