Excellent Job trimming my super tall palm in my front yard. I chose Arbor Tree Service because they had a fair price compared to other companies I contacted. They use a professional BUCKET truck to trim my tree. This is VERY important since arborists that climb the trees are not as able to direct the dropped palm fronds (leaves) to ensure they dont damage YOUR property. Other tree trimmers have broken my roof tiles that are $35 each! I watched Arbor tree service as they CAREFULLY cut each frond from the palm, and then dropped it in the exact position they wanted it so it did not hit my roof. When they trimmed the ones by the roof, he would grab it and then move the bucket away from the house and drop the front. To me this shows me they CARE. They also had a guy standing by my car just incase a front was coming close, he could "bat" it with a broom. They had another guy picking up the fronds and putting them into the shredder to take it away. I highly recommend Arbor Tree Service over other tree service companies in LV. We bought firewood from them a while back, and I took a photo of their truck that showed the name of their business. We had a tree in our front yard that was planted when the house was built, which was 25 years ago, and it was getting really huge. We had had the tree trimmed multiple times since we moved in 7 years ago, but it was getting really, really big. Loved the tree, but we were finding tree roots in places we shouldn't have found them. I called for a estimate for removing the tree, and Arbor came out and took a look. Their estimate was more than fair for the scope of work - remove the old tree, plant the new tree, skin 5 large canary palms, trim up the two trees on one side of the yard and remove the overhanging huge branches from the house behind us (yes, the owner knew and agreed to the trim on his tree). The crew was on time, they were professional, they cleaned everything up and did a fantastic job. The job took 5 hours, and 1 hour of that was getting the new tree in. I'm convinced contractors see me as a rube, easy to hoodwink and overcharge.  They want me to either help send their kids to college or pay their mortgage this month so they end up writing an unrealistic estimate for the work. My house has a 1/3 acre lot with a variety of trees and two big pines needed removing as the roots were compromising the privacy wall. One company wanted over $1100, another $1200, and I tried to suppress a snicker, knowing the job would take 2 or 3 hours tops. My greedy attorney charges less per hour. Not only did Arbor Tree Service gave me a reasonable bid of $600, but the business owner Gerson is a young, polite, and knowledgeable entrepreneur so it made sense to give his company a try. He answers phone calls quickly, shows up when he says he will, and is smart enough to know if you give an unreasonable estimate, you probably won't get the job. Arbor Tree's four man crew showed up on time that day and they worked quickly, careful not to damage anything and making sure no branches fell on the neighbor's property. They cleaned up so well I couldn't even tell they had been there and before leaving, made sure the street was spotless where the wood chipper was used. The owner Gerson came out and gave my husband a bid on our African Surmac that were damaged by the last storm we just had here . With the hurricane winds that were pretty strong for Las Vegas .Our trees were 24 years old and were quite big we had two of them and the storm split them in half . Their bid came in a very fair price and even though we had to wait a week the job was excellent the , the guy climbing the tree knew exactly what he was doing ,removed dead branches / thinned out 2 trees . This company was trimming a tree next door and with no care threw the neighbors branches that were hanging over into my yard onto my plants. They stepped on my plants and also pulled out plants in my yard while they were cleaning up. Not once did they knock on my door or notify me to let me know that they were going to be in my yard to pick up the branches that they left in my backyard from the neighbors tree next door. This is a totally professional outfit with top of the line equipment and a hard working, knowledgable, and very courteous staff. They removed a 20 year old palo verde tree and planted a new Red Push Pistach in a 24 inch box. The whole process was done in less than 3 hours. They left the place clean and tidy as well. I took the procaution to remove the sprinkler piping from the ground near the tree but the foreman told me they would have taken care of all that had I not cleared it out. Now, I have to re install it, and they would have taken care of that too (although it was not listed in the estimate). I can't say enough good things about this service. They were on time, did a outstanding job, (removed 3 30' dead pine trees, cleaned up / thinned out 3 trees), plus removed all the clippings for a 25' tree I had downed the week before.
