We set a date (07/06/26) for the replacement and what I thought was a fair negotiated price ($250), it really ended not being a fair price at all. Paco initially wanted $280, I negotiated with him to $250. Even at $250 he was higher than all others by $50-$100 more. I asked him if I could use my credit card, he said yes but there would be 4% surcharge. I didn't agree with that, so I asked if he could wave that, he reluctantly agreed. So, date and price was set. Come Monday 07/06/26, he claims his credit card service isn't working, so I agreed to a Zelle payment. Our appointment was for Monday (07/06/26 at 11:30; not only did his credit card service not work according to him, but he continued to change his arrival time. He texted me he was running behind on 07/06/26 and now would arrive no later than 12:30. By this time I'm seeing many red flags. I called him @ 11:46 on 07/06/26 to verify with him that he would arrive no later than 12:30 and was still intact. While confirming his 12:30 time, now he tells me 1 O'clock and blames me for his late arrival because I called to verify the time. During our conversation on the phone he kept interrupting me, talking over me, telling me I was upset that I couldn't use my credit card (furthest from the truth), and that I set the price for the job and so forth. I told him, I no longer needed his services, he was rude and not accommodating or respectful of my time and needs. Who wants to invite someone to their home after a terrible text and phone conversation, NO THANK YOU! To say the least, he wasn't given the job. Be careful who you hire people.

Perfect Garden Services and another top rated one (Both with Yelp Guaranteed) The other one had more reviews and verified business badge. Sadly the other's quote was at least TWICE as high so it was a no brianer I picked PGS. Very easy to schedule (all done via Yelp messaging) Just note they do not accept Credit Card (seems a lot of businesses don't now and days) So keep that in mind before booking their services. Gave me a time time when they would be there and showed up right on time (within the range) PGS has a crew of 3 total and they worked fast (for the amount of work they needed to do) The job still took them about 4-5 hours and they took care of everything (including any trash) When they're done, a lot of photos were taken (since I wasn't on-site at the time) Very happy with their service and the price was great for what they had to do. When it was windy, the branches would hit the roof and create a horrible noise. A couple of landscapers had left their cards on our door, so I initially called one of them. He said he would be there the very next morning; however, he never showed up. He then called and said he would come the following morning--and again, never showed up. At that point, my husband Tom submitted a quote request on Yelp, and Mizrain was one of the first to respond. He was also the most prompt and thorough when answering our questions. Mizrain provided a very competitive quote and was able to come out the same day to trim our tree. He arrived on time, immediately greeted me with a handshake, and provided his business card before getting right to work. He and his team took their time while working very efficiently. They were extremely careful to ensure that no branches fell on or damaged the house and frequently stepped back to assess the tree as a whole to make sure it looked balanced after trimming. I am extremely impressed with Mizrain and his team's work. They went above and beyond to make the tree look great and full while still removing a significant amount of overgrowth. I was initially worried it would look bare or dead, but it looks amazing. They also thoroughly cleaned the entire area, removing not only large branches but also small twigs. They even blew away dust and picked up trash that had blown into our front yard, which was greatly appreciated and not expected. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I would absolutely work with Mizrain again in the future. I would highly recommend him to friends and family.
