Not only was I excited to try a new Dry Cleaners, as I I dropped my clothes off, I also paid in advance as this has been a dry cleaners I've always wanted to try. The owners could not verify that I paid so they tried to make me pay again. After I refused and let them know I paid in advance, I decided to call my bank on speakerphone, had them verify that I indeed paid, and STILL the owner wanted the phone number to the bank, and who I was speaking to. There is NO reason I should have had to go to great lengths to pick up my belongings. All this stress for $21.98. As a first time visitor, I will not be returning due to the lack of customer service and negative attitude. This establishment although it seems to be a great neighborhood staple, may not take well to newcomers. Just utterly disappointed in the treatment I received, all while still showing grace. The smell of the rug was awful. Smelled like a much more severe version of leaving your clothes in the washer while wet for a few days. Took it back, person said "it must not have been completely dry when it was wrapped up" - okay, lets clean it and give it a few weeks to make sure it's dry. No change.
