Welcome to the Sunday, funday, food review. Today is the first time I walked into this location since Dijan Inc went out of business, and we were forced to lock the doors never to return in a management capacity. I first had to look at the normal things I used to check like the drink section, dining room and counter area. I have to say in this aspect as busy as they were kind of everything looked clean and stocked. They were doing a lot more drive thru business then inside. I waited a few minutes for the counter guy to come up and take my order, he was very polite, very professional. I ordered the all-new Angus Cheesesteak which comes with thinly sliced Angus beef, melted American cheese, a blend of diced bell peppers and onions along with a creamy garlic sauce. Toasted bun of course, I got a three-piece potato cake and a small drink. Now for the review, I am giving this dinner a 4 out of 5 stars and here is why. It took them almost 12 minutes to give me my order, keep in mind I was basically the only one in line for the most part, 2 people walked in after I already ordered. I watched the young man who was on "Market Fresh Side" as we called it back in the day, make my cheesesteak and send it to the chute. I watched the counter guy pull up at least a half basket of potato cakes and drop them in the fry station. My sandwich sat 4 to 5 minutes while the cakes sat about 3 so by the time he gave me my order, now he did apologize for the wait, but he could have pushed out the front orders while bagging drive thru, I used to do it all the time when I ran front line. I got a side of their horsey and 3 pepper sauce for my cakes. Now the cakes were warm but not hot like they should have been from sitting, they were decent don't get me wrong. My cheesesteak was delicious even though it was not as hot as it should or could have been. The onions, peppers and that sauce made that sandwich and I recommend trying it. Placed order at location inside. Get home, order is wrong and missing items.. drive back they give items that werent in order and dont replace items that were gotten 45 min prior so enjoy the cold food.. For the money and trouble that was spent they should have replaced the whole order .. will not go back. And dont recomend them.. had to give a star but wish I didnt have to.. read more

Was in the area for work and we were looking for a quick snack before we go to our next meet. One of the people I was with came from Japan and never had Arby's. We told him Arby's has the best curly fries (dipped in BBQ sauce) and root beer floats! Sadly, root beer floats are no longer on the menu BUT Ronnie made it for us!!!! It hit the spot! I want to be notified when my food is delivered. The last two times I wasn't notified. My food was cold myOrange shake was melted. It isn't hard to notify someone. All I ask is bring it in the red door My door is the first one on the left. If this happens again it will be the last time I order from ARBYS!!!! I have order from places up by the Mall and they had no problem following my request!!! Again I wasn't notified my food was cold only got half of my order. Manager not attentive; trash cans overflowing; ice machine broken; empty condiment dispensers; food was not hot ( indoor dining). Based on this experience I would not likely patronize any Arby's restaurant again. read more

In a year's time since visit to Arby's, this current order is the worst yet. At drive through, since when does "classic" sound like "cheddar". Speaking of a sandwich, "WHERE was the beef", or whatever it is. I think the nearest cold sandwich was just grabbed to fill my order. What a ripoff. IMO this reflects badly on the manager. I doubt I'll ever do the drive for such garbage again. read more

We visited Arbys yesterday..Large Menu, clean along with prompt service..One problem was the noise ...It is not a relaxing place to eat...No music just a tv..blasting news-whatever..Add the employees speaking with each other...etc. MY suggestion would be to throw out the tv..bring in music that will calm everything down, and I CAN BET the lunch crowd will be larger than about 10 people..Next time-drive through..maybe!!!! read more

Arby's... I'm giving you 4 stars for effort... but stick with what you know... roast beef sandwiches, yours are amazing! That being said... your gyro is not... the best part of it is the pita... the meat is not bad... in fact it's good... but the "Greek seasoning" is basically oregano and maybe some mint, doused on in amounts that kill the flavor of the meat... and the tetziki sauce tastes a lot more like ranch dressing than true tetziki. Like I said, the pita was soft and had a wonderful texture... but all-and-all this sandwich failed for me... I guess if you like tour roast beef sandwich sprinkled with oregano and doused with ranch dressing you might like this version of a gyro.... but I'll be ordering their traditional roast beef or beef au jus from now on... I must say that the staff at this place is very nice and pretty quick... it not their fault the sandwich was disappointing read more

My feelings for Arby's can only be summed up by the eulogy I wrote when it closed: R.I.P Local Arby's. You were a friend when a friend was needed. Always there with a warm beef and cheddar or a cold Mountain Dew. I remember when I was a child eating you in the food court at the Mall, and wondering how the Hanna-Barbera toys you offered were relevant in any way to a child who hadn't grown up in the nineteen sixties. I remember when I ate Jello for a week and ended up in tremendous pain and after a trip to the hospital, which basically said I shouldn't have eaten that much Jell-o, and no I was not bleeding internally, I picked up the five for five deal and next thing I knew my stomach no longer knew pain, but in a way had found transcendence. Transcendence that could only be achieved on the back of five cheap-roast-beef sandwiches eaten in glorious succession. I recall finding a balance in later years, that told me Arby's was not a food you ate every week, but maybe once a month, it was a cruel thing to realize that one could not suck on Arby's proverbial tit for nutrition and good times forever. Arby's, a restaurant shaped like a hat, who the social elitist would look down on, with smug disregard, and laugh about it's down-home decor. A road side jester, playing nimbly at the feet of Burger Kings and Old Scottish Lords like McDonalds. Arby's, a humble story for humble people, who found warmth in it's thin-sliced beef. Arby's, national treasure, local hero - Gone, but never forgotten. R.I.P, You sweet Prince of Fast Food, you King of humility. Now it has returned, like Gandalf in Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Or Like the King, in Lord the Rings: The Return of the King. This location recently reopened and Kingston is a better place because of it. Arby's gets a bad rap but I enjoy the quality of their meals compared to some other fast food places - and unlike McDonald's or Burger King the employees know how to take a simple drive-thru order with messing up. read more

I admit the last time I went to this Arby's was a little over a year ago. The reason why? It was simply nasty in there. First off, We couldn't even find a clean table, Each one was dirty and we had to called a worker over to clean it. The real kicker is that the entire place was empty, No one in it besides us. That's in addition to the dead flies and dirty floors. Even their front counter was dirty. How does this business expect me to eat their food when they can't even keep their restaurant clean? Do you honestly think I'd willing eat the food that these scumbags prepare when they don't even have the decency to clean the place up? Heck no. That was the absolute last time I went there and I will never return. read more

I'm not sure if it's Arby's food quality in general, the quality of products at this location, or just a bad batch of food on the most delivery. 2/3 of the sandwiches on my most recent order was pretty much inedible. The chicken was tough, had tendons in it, and just tasted off. Arby's definitely needs to improve it's food quality. read more
