Friendly efficient staff greeting all who walk through their door. Sandwiches were incredible, no skimping on Boars Head meats or ingredients and you get your moneys worth. Has some sit down dining inside but a great place to order ahead and pick up while you head to the beach. This is a must try and can't wait to go back and try some of the other great sanqweeches featured on the menu. Grazie Ventura Sandwich Co delizioso e tutti! Mangiamo

I clearly Said who I was with the first time, and I clearly stated what was ordered. The second time two days after , i tried the ham because it had a bad review the last time I came in. I wanted to try it, and give you the benefit of the doubt... so much for that, I mean how hard is it to screw up a boarshead meat sandwich? . Based on the 3 meat sandwiches last time, and the ones I saw being eaten while we were there, it definitely wasn't the usual meat. Or WAS IT???. BUT I EVEN took a picture of it. Just in case you came back and got rude in your response like you have in the past when you don't like when others don't leave you a good review. . We even came back in TODAY and wanted to give it ONE LAST TRY and so i ordered a hot Italian and it was LACKING meat and any flavor, the sandwich is literally the smallest SUB i have had in 37 years! . so Now. I will leave this a solid zero review.. So everyone can see what type of company you genuinely run... And you're the one who hires the staff, so any issues with customer service, food orep or Cleanliness is solely on the management

I had the Italian Sub and it was as good as any I've had elsewhere. There was no waiting to be served, although I did arrive well past the lunch business. I was able to upgrade the sandwich into a "meal" with a soft drink and bag of chips, for a total cost of $10.99! None of the chain sandwich shops could have matched that price for the sandwich alone. It's a simple place with great sandwiches and excellent prices. If that's good enough for you, by all means visit.

Was craving a deli sandwich and wanted to try somewhere near - Mastro's popped up at the top of the…read morelist and was very close by. I had actually bookmarked Mastro's years ago and forgot all about it. This is a very no frills space located right on the corner - no inside seating but a couple round tables outside. Plenty of available street parking. There only appeared to be one woman working - she was a bit slow to greet me initially but had her back turned and I think may not have noticed I was there. She was happy to answer my questions and accommodating when making my sandwich. I opted for the italian sub but didn't want something very bread heavy so got the rye bread instead. While the rye bread was tasty, it was just Orowheat, which was disappointing to see all the breads were just sandwich bread you'd get in the store rather than home made or made by someone local. The sandwich itself had cheddar, provolone, bologna, salami, and capitola ham - all of which was very fresh. However, the amount of meat/cheese felt a bit minimal, especially when looking back at previous photos. For the very reasonable price though, l understand why maybe they cut down the amount of meat/cheese vs raise prices. Maybe add an option for double meat/cheese for an extra fee? It comes traditionally with mayo, mustard, italian dressing, lettuce, tomato, onion, peppercini but I just got lettuce, mayo, and italian dressing. Avocado was an optional add on for a reasonable $1 but because I had avocado at home I just added it at home. The sandwich itself was very tasty and enjoyable - I wish though instead of mayo and italian dressing they had used olive oil, vinegar, and oregano, which is more traditional and healthier. They also had potato salad and macaroni salad for only $2 - I got half and half and while they were both fine, nothing necessarily stood out about them. It was a nice little add on if you don't want chips. Speaking of chips, they had a very large selection of chips and bottle drinks. This wouldn't necessarily be my first stop if I am feeling very hungry, given that the sandwich felt pretty small (although I imagine on the sub roll it wouldve been a lot more filling). However, I will definitely be back if I am craving an inexpensive deli sandwich - it is hard to find lunch anywhere for under $10 and I appreciate that they keep the prices affordable. Seeing as they have been around for what appears to be 10+ years, I imagine they know their demographic and cater to that.

I went to Five Points Meat Market to purchase approximately 11-12 bone-in short ribs. The total came to about 8.5 pounds, costing over $140. I have purchased meat from Five Points Meat Market in the past and previously received satisfactory cuts, so I did not thoroughly inspect the short ribs at the time of purchase. When I prepared the ribs on Christmas Day, I discovered that the majority of the cuts were almost entirely fat. I trimmed away as much fat as possible, but even after trimming, the ribs remained excessively fatty. Out of the entire order, I was only able to salvage about six ribs with a reasonable amount of meat, and even those still contained significant fat. Three of the ribs were unusable and had to be discarded due to the lack of meat. Because it was Christmas Day and grocery stores were closing as I was preparing dinner, I had no choice but to cook the ribs anyway. Despite removing most of the visible fat, a couple of my family members experienced mild stomach discomfort due to how fatty the meat was. While I understand that short ribs naturally contain fat and this is a dish my family prepares often, I have never received such poor-quality short ribs before. There were leftovers, but no one wanted to eat them. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience, especially given the price. In hindsight, I should have purchased the short ribs from Sprouts, where the cuts appeared to be significantly meatier, less fatty, and 100% grass-fed at a lower cost.

The employees were kind, place was clean, there's in and outdoor seating, and parking is what you make of it as PP is located on a blocked off street where cars are not permitted. All to say, research where you wish to walk about, find a meter or free parking lot - enough around, and put on your good yet cute walking shoes because you'll enjoy strolling about after your meal here - or drink. FOOD: I sooo loved my grill cheese. Instead of mushrooms I swapped for spinach - you're welcome. AND THE PICKLE ON THE SIDE - delish! So why 4 and not 5? Because of my limited lifestyle I found the menu a bit limiting. However, I am not a HUGE cheese person and I don't drink. With that said, I feel anyone else who loves to indulge in that world should have a super great experience. Mine was still great. WELL: I actually enjoyed my time and shall return. My mother loves a good red wine so I'll bring her too.

I've been coming to this spot for years to grab a quick meal as it's convenient and unique. It's easy to miss but worth it as they have nice people working here and the paninis are my ultimate favorite. Nice that they have their own small private parking lot, Fits about 4 cars I believe but also plenty of street parking. When you walk inside you'll see that it's a small shop but not overly clutter with items, it's spacious and clean. Off to the left there are plenty of sodas, snacks, beers, and regular connivence store items. To the right is a register and the booze behind where you pay. When you walk right in you'll see a large whiteboard menu with the daily food specials and regularly priced items for breakfast and lunch. When your ready to place your food just walk closer up to the counter and they'll ask what you want. You wait for them to prep your order and they'll call it out when ready. Grab your food and pay at the main register it's easy peasy. I keep coming back for their pesto Turkey panini. It's hard to find a good panini on this side of town but this unassuming little market has some of the best ones hands down. Also reasonable prices and the sandwich is stacked with deli meat. A great value for the price. I've also tried their tacos and tamales, they are average, and good but I'd highly always recommend the sandwiches above all else. As I mentioned earlier service is really good and both the gals cooking up the food and the different people working behind the register have always been super nice and approachable. Feel good local vibes, and I'm sure you've passed by this spot plenty a times but make sure you check them out because they are the perfect spot for that on the go lunch or to grab some quick snacks and drinks.
