I've heard about this place for a while and since it's next to our gym (which I've been missing for about a month), and we became familiar with it, we decided this would be a great place to take a 13 year old and one of his friends for a birthday. At $20 each for as much as you can play, it's a win/win compared to other places where each game can be a buck or two (or more, I haven't been in a while). You can probably burn through $20 in 15 mins if you wanted. So unlimited was awesome. When you open the door, you're sense of hearing is immediately overwhelmed with what can be described as noise that if you focus, you can hear music, ringing, dinging, cha-chinging, blooping, bleaping, and screaming. And the screaming can be from excited people or people just trying to talk to each other. It was pretty loud. We were hungry when we arrived so we found a place to sit at the bar/home video console area. The food didn't take overly long but the one sandwich I ordered was a complete mess and looked like they threw it in the box. The burger one of the kids got was way too small for the price. The Cheesesteak Fries ordered by a few others looked amazing and since you had a fork, no mess, no fuss. Honestly, we had planned on eating at BurgerIM prior to going in, but it wasn't open yet. We've only seen it at 6am so had no idea... I didn't see anybody cleaning anything when we were there. Even the tables where people were eating and drinking were kind of a mess. But nobody cleaning any controllers or walking around cleaning console controllers or anything else. Also, the machines were all really close together, so if 2 people were playing a game together, one kinda oozed into the area of the game next to it. It really needs more space. It's 3 or 4 strip mall stores with an opening between each one to go from one to the other, so the flow is kinda crammed. A place like D&B or GameTime Daytona is MUCH more open and inviting. With that being said, that's probably not why you're here... As an Arcade, this place F'N rocks. I found myself reliving the '80s only I wasn't a virgin anymore! Sweet! They had all kinds of retro video games like Dragon's Lair, Tron, Paperboy, Table Pac Man, Galaga, Tetris, Burgertime (which I couldn't play cause it was occupied), Terminator 2 with the 2 Uzi Guns, and plenty of others. There were some Asian video games that were kind of like Garage Band and some DJ stuff which were neat, but I had no idea what I was doing. They also had air hockey and bubble hockey and basketball and skeeball games. My favorite was the Pinball area which is in the front. I found myself playing over and over again. And the best part is after the game where the machine cracks, it's anticlimactic since you can play for free anyway. Pretty cool. That area was the least crowded too so maybe that's why I liked it more. All in all, I'm not sure if we'd go back. Maybe during the week or something if I wanted to get my game on when Smash Mouth Doll tells me too, but the loudness, crowds, and uncleanliness will have me thinking twice. 3 of the 5 of us that went ended up sitting outside with our phones while the boys had a blast inside. So I'd say 4 stars since we had fun, but I wouldn't eat there again. read more

Went here Tuesday night and had a blast with my friends, inside is neon uv and all anime/nerd themed with different fandoms and looks like things glow in the dark. All the games worked great and function well with no problems and they have multiple game options to play with a $20 wristband which seems a good price. Food was also good, the chicken nuggets were good portions and hot and fresh, I had a couple of their slushy cocktails and shots and they were overall okay with some being a little sweet for me personally. Service was nice also with Sarah and one other person serving our group quick at the counter :). Just know they don't take cash and its card only. read more

This is an interesting review to make, so enjoy the ride! We first visited Arcade Monsters when they first opened years ago. They were cramped in their space at the time. Not a lot of wiggle room, but they had the makings of a great place. Wonderful selection of games, pinball machines, VR, etc. Fast forward to last weekend. We reserved 2 hours of time for our twins birthday party. Easy process of reserving the time, great communication with our questions, and easy getting them set up when it came time for the party. The kids had a blast and we were impressed! The new/revised space is phenomenal. It's much more spread out and open. The imported games from Japan are wonderful (shoutout for Taiko no tatsujin), and there are plenty game systems set up for ease of gaming! Plus, the food offerings are really affordable. The staff was really helpful, and the price to play all day is great. Definitely come here for a place to hang out alone or with friends, with family, kids, whomever! read more

Great place for all ages. Plenty of old school games, Japanese games, air hockey, basketball and more. You can do 1 hour or all day, and they have family packages. We had a 5 and 7 year old with our group and they loved it. Us adults had a great time too They hold onto your ID/card for the open tab and you settle at the end. 1 hour goes by quickly. Vending machines available with various anime stuff. Bar and food options. We saw signs that you could buy an extra card if you wanted to keep track of your scores. I'm not going to lie, I had no clue how to play some of the Japanese games, but I kept hitting buttons and it was fun We went around noon on Tuesday and it was pretty empty, so we could play whatever we wanted. read more

Pros: cool atmosphere, friendly staff, modern and classic pinball machines, unique games and a dedicated classic games area. If you want to make a day out of being there it's a good deal. Cons: way too loud, not the best selection of games for young kids. If you want to come in and play games for an hour or two it's a bit pricey. The race car games could have been better. I probably would have ranked it higher if it weren't so loud. read more

This place is always packed, but it's really neat! It's got - you guessed it - arcade games everywhere you go, including a really cool loft upstairs (yes, it's 2 stories)! The bar is good for beer and wine, and the food is good bar food. It's a great spot to bring your kids, and it's open late so you can just go with friends and no kids. I am giving this a 5 star, not because I enjoyed myself. I just wish I had thought of the concept before whoever came up.with it. And for what it's intended to be, it's amazing. I went here on a Friday night with two grandsons. For the price of admission play unlimited game. They loved the pizza, and the hostesses were dressed aanime. The bar was full of slushy's and pretty drinks with a lot of beer. The wine selection is lacking but I don't suppose I'm here to drink one. I played $22 for each of the boys to have unlimited games. I had to pay nine dollars for my own band even though I wasn't playing. Overall I would recommend if you like it. Loud place with lots of music, fruity, drinks, and games. Personally, I wouldn't come here without grandchildren. read more

Been to Arcade Monsters probably a handful of times and it's gone through lots of changes over the past few years. I'll say, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I'm so glad they've kept their $20 FREE PLAY model, especially with the crazy financial times we're going through rn. Most arcades are so expensive that I don't even go anymore. $20 a head here and you play all night. They're open till 2 every night also so you can get some good gaming in at a great cost! They've got pretty tasty food that is reasonably priced. The bartenders last night were mega sweet and helpful. Britney was awesome! And so was the girl in the neon green and black bodysuit. ;) I think her name was Cassie? Sorry, he he. As someone who's connected heavily to the local art scene, it's dope to see good quality art everywhere. They even have art in the bathrooms! The place is super cool aesthetically and my nephews and I had a blast last night. It's cool that they had a DJ spinning as well! I'm a Hip Hop artist so, DJ's are always a good look when I'm trying to have a fun night. He played a nice mix of stuff that was enjoyable by all generations. My one complaint is that there were clearly young kids in there and some of the songs played were really raunchy and I felt uncomfortable with that knowing there were such young ears in there. Supposedly they are opening one in Lake Mary which is closer to me so I'll definitely check it out when it opens. AM, let me know if you need muralists/graff artists.. We love this location. They have a good selection on games and almost all of them work well. They have a bunch of games to choose from. Pinball and classic games like Super Nintendo and Sega loaded with tons of games. They have good food too. Their burgers are delicious and the wings are good too. I had loads of fun here! I didn't realize the entry was $20 so it was a bit of a surprise when I got there (but was worth the fun). Everything is black light art, even the bathrooms and your pee glows yellow they had a great selection of drinks, and so many fun games. Lots of Japanese?? Games that I've never seen before. Shooting games, dancing games, old games, new games, racing games... ALL THE GAMES! Would be awesome for couples date night, I will be back! read more

Arcade monsters is definitely adult arcade, they do not have it any ticket redemption game which is great. There's a lot of art all over the walls. The art is done very well. I like that the art is not limited 2 2 anyone theme. They have video game characters, Alice in Wonderland and many other movie characters throughout the place as well. They're starting to offer some food and snacks which I've never tried. They have a lot of classic candies which is great. Would be cool they set up a claw machine filled with the classic in Japanese candies for us to try to win a lower price than buying it. Arcade Monsters has a lot of classic arcade games, modern pinball games, Japanese games, Rhythm and beat games and consoles to try. 5 stars for a nostalgic experience! From DDR to Galaga, there is something for everyone. My absolute favorite part is definitely the VR and the food is typical of things you'd eat when you're playing games. Although it was crowded, the majority of the games were available and surprisingly the only games you truly had to wait for were any that involved cars lol. At $15.99 for unlimited play, plus a second story for Virtual Reality and other obscure Japanese games, you really feel like you have your own personal arcade. They serve a large variety of drinks, from jaeger and sake bombs, a host of wines, craft beer, and canned. They also have a variety of food offerings such as empanadas, hot dogs, some kind of pizza pocket, and more candy than anyone would ever need. It's a great place for a date or to just bring the kids. The arcade itself is fine but customer service is terrible. It feels very "cliquey" where if you're a college or high school student or look like the kind of person who will be there for hours oogling and tipping the bartenders you get treated one way, and if not, you're ignored. I went a few months back for the first time since they expanded and I didn't know where to buy a wristband now. There was a stand by the door with an iPad kiosk, but no employee. I assumed they had just walked away for a minute and stood there while other employees walked by me for 5+ minutes until a bartender finally yelled at me that I had to buy a wristband from her. And then she had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to add a tip on top of my $20 wristband! Last night I went right after work and the place was empty. I sat at the bar and wanted a drink while I waited for my friend to arrive, and the 2 bartenders kept glancing at me and then going back to their conversation. I had the menu in front of me and my credit card out. What more do you need me to do to make myself worthy of buying a $12 rum and coke? I'm glad a place like this exists, because I love the games, but I wish the employees would get off their high horse and do their jobs. Maybe focus a little less on your cosplays and more on customer service? read more

This is definitely a place for nerds (in the best way). Everyone is here to have fun. It's family friendly but be worked it's a VERY tight space be ready to be in close quarters with strangers and get hot. They have food for purchase. Nothing crazy.
