Performed procedures that should have been done by a higher skilled professional. Made a flipper/retainer that was ill fitting and they told me that's how it's supposed to be. It broke after 4 months. The one dentist is only available on Friday so getting the situation resolved In expedited time frame not possible. Should not have to walk around missing teeth that help me talk and eat. Ended up somewhere else that the professionals took my situation serious and very very responsive. Will not have any additional service from this entity. Would give Zero stars if it was an option. read more

They operate like used car lot. They make it seems like optional dental care is mandatory. They focus more on sales than person centered care. Their office staff is unprofessional and all had very heavy fake eyelashes which doesn't seem sanitary and heavy makeup ( not professional) for a dental office. I gave this 24 hours of thought before I post this. I hope this gives people whose priorities may not align with the office some thoughts of coming; or readjust your priorities. So, please make expectations of 1) your time waiting + 2) efficiency of front office the LOWEST priority if you still plan to come here. And I think the clients will have NO issues. I started coming to this office due to dental insurance change. For the most part the hygienist and the dentist are efficient. The front office has always been a work in progress, understandably because they deal much more variety of issues/concerns. My main issue with the front office is the lack of communication with the back office. I understand due to staffing issues or emergency add-on, for whatever reasons the back office is running late. I would very much appreciate that i get updates so I HAVE THE CHOICE to stay or leave. When a appt is 45 minutes late already, it pretty much tacks on a other 30 minimum time of actual visit. If the back-office is overbooked/overwhelmed, I am happy to leave and re-schedule...to alleviate their stress and that if my own to get on time to my NEXT appointment (it is also NOT RIGHT that my next appt is delayed becuase the current one is). So when I ask to just re-reschedule, to next month or so (just a cleaning, i am happy to wait for a while); the front staff didn't know what to do. It took her almost another 10 min of walking to the back/clicking on the computer to give me another appt 2 months away. And I had to call back to re-adjust the appt because she scheduled with the wrong provider. Everyone has a choice in their dental providers. I appreciate efficient office and I wish the office appreciates their clients. read more

This place is straight up garbage. I switched from this dentist (See last review), but some of the family wanted to stay. So we went in for a regular cleaning which is covered by my insurance. They offered us a "special" cleaning for $135 and we declined. After regular cleaning was done, we were about to leave and the front staff said we owed $135 for special cleaning. I was livid, I said no to this special cleaning but they didn't want to hear it. They wouldn't let us leave until we paid. Needless to say, now the whole family is leaving this sh*t hole. I HIGHLY suggest you find another dentist. They are con artist. If you do stay here, get EVERYTHING in writing before you get work done. read more

I've been coming here for around 2 years for general maintenance of my teeth with teeth cleaning. I usually pick an earlier appointment since I start work at 11 am and I am usually in and out on time. I usually get a different dentist but each time everyone was pretty nice. We went to Arcadia Dental when we had a change of insurance. Appointments were hit or miss, you do have to book ahead. When you call, some staff are nice and some not so much. They do just pair you with whoever is working that day, so you may not have the same dentist each visit. Kiddos dentist was super friendly and nice. She was accommodating and patient with them. The few dentist I had were nice and the specialist I saw was friendly. read more

BUYER BEWARE -- CHECK FOR INCORRECT / SHADY CHARGES! I obviously no longer go here. It was great at first, but like others have said, after they changed management a few years ago, the front desk's billing / insurance practices got really sketchy... I discovered an overcharge on a procedure I had done, and very clearly pointed out what I was supposed to be charged instead, referring to specific pages and paragraphs in my insurance plan several times to make it easier for them. But the front desk's staff wouldn't hear it and gaslit me for months, telling me that I was wrong. I almost believed them, but thankfully, I looked more into it and had to become more well versed in understanding the nuances of dental insurance (clearly not what a customer should be spending their time on!). Sadly, after several back and forth three-way phone calls between me, my insurance company, and this office, this dispute took MONTHS to resolve. A higher up at my insurance company finally forcibly informed them that they were in the wrong, and the office conceded and gave us a number to the manager who deals with insurance / bill adjustments. And sure enough, surprise surprise, the manager ghosts both me and my insurance company. Not taking our calls or responding to our messages. We had to file an official grievance to get my money back. Pretty sure they knew what they were doing, and were just hoping their sketchy methods of gaslighting, stalling, and ghosting would make customers give up and just eat the cost. So be careful. My mom's appointment was 2:30pm. We arrived at 2:24pm. We waited until 3pm without any attention from the staff. When I asked the front desk, the girl looked like she never seen me before even though I signed up the sheet in the front of her earlier. I totally understand sometimes the clinic can be very busy. However, if the staff can explain to us briefly, we will feel better as clients, not feel being ignored. read more

I just had my first follow-up visit with Dr Abed and his staff. Dr Abed has been wonderful! He answered all of my questions regarding braces and is always with a smile. In order to enjoy all the goodies I need to have excellent teeth- so staying cavity free is my lifetime motto! My friends know me well know that I am a creature of habits and I like to stick to a doctor, a hair stylist, and especially a dentist forever, if I can. So prior to visiting Arcadia Dental Group I had seen the same dentists in SoCal for over 20 years then I moved away for almost 10 years so by the time I came back I was not entirely shocked to find my old dentists retired- considering the two brothers were quite old. They were like extended family so I was lost when I needed to find a new dentist. Being lazy I found Pedro Gonzalez nearest to where I was staying in Walnut and neglected to find another dentist near my permanent home in Arcadia. Boy, I was glad to have found Arcadia Dental Group after terrible treatments at Pedro Gonzalez's clinic and misleading guidance. Let's start with Dr. Nguyen at ADG. She's simply amazing. My just turned three-year-old son had two examinations with her. He cried the first time but she was able to calm him down. Therefore on the second examination my son was cool and relaxed much to my relief and delight. As for my own examination, the initial experience was not good because I had to do the usual X-ray and they could not provide me the usual periodic cleaning because I needed "deep cleaning" from the plaques that could not eat into my teeth but have now attacked into my roots and gums. So they needed to get approval from my insurance to move forward with the treatments. The "deep cleaning" took a total of 3 treatments over 2 months which took about 45-60 minutes each time. Each time the treatment was very thorough- almost felt like I had a regular cleaning on each visit. Special thanks to Frances (hygienist) for completing these treatments for me. Also I have to stress that there was almost zero wait time on every single visit which is rather unusual because it was almost standard to wait at least 30 minutes in the lobby at all my previous dental appointments even with my old dentists. Dentist care, I love Dr Leung. She is pleasant and very welcoming. Office experience, not so great. The front older lady is always rude in person or in the phone. The new Asian OA staff, younger lady, she is better. I rather deal with her. Dental hygienists, is half and half. Some are nice like Rose, but the others are harsh. Called to make an appointment for my 3 year old and myself. (make sure you have the right location, this one gets mixed up with Arcadia Dental CLINIC on Huntington Dr. this is on Live Oak) Made sure my insurance (DeltaCare) was accepted and was seen within a month. It has a one way traffic for the parking area, try to get onto Greenfield Ave as the driveway on Live Oak is an exit only. They had me complete a questionnaire about my health and travel (COVID-19) precaution and checked my temperature outside. I felt safe and it seemed sanitary inside too with hand sanitizers in the waiting area and by the nurses' window. It was my first visit so had my X rays done, the technician was very nice. My son's teeth were inspected and the dentist, Dr. Moreno, gave us suggestions about toothpaste for him. Then I saw Dr. Moreno, and he was really knowledgeable, helpful and nice. He cleaned my teeth and the dental assistant polished my teeth. Scheduled my 6 months check up and that was it. The whole process was over an hour, but it felt normal for two new patients. read more
