Completely agree with all the negative reviews. This was my first try at Botox and I am ever so happy I stormed out of there. I looked at the Groupon reviews, and were decent enough...(probably paid for.) I called and was told by receptionist Lorena, they could see me immediately. No consultation fee, and by her upbeat attitude, I was happy enough to drive straight over. The office is located at a residence, dingy on the outside, clean inside, although I did not go past the reception area. There are two red doors, unsure which one to go into. Completed my paperwork, and after 10 minutes waiting with a dead empty small reception area, the Doctor's husband came out to greet me and ask questions. This was the reception area, so no privacy. Immediately he asked, where are you working, what's your profession...why aren't you working now..."Well, sir, I would rather keep that private." Well, he said, "The reason why I ask is because we see people from all walks of life, doctors, actors, lawyers...blah, blah, blah" Diarrhea of the mouth. If you go directly to the office, they are cheaper then their Groupon offer, which is a turn off. The reason they do that, is so that they can charge 12.00 a unit thereafter. However, after some haggling, he somewhat agreed to bring the price down to around 10.00 a unit, begrudgingly. Furthermore, he stated that other colleagues charge less, because they are probably using watered down or off brand Botox, made in the Phillipines, India...blah... blah... blah. SCARE TACTICS...HOW UNETHICAL..or is he the one watering down the Botox here? hmmmmm I had just about had it with the B.S. Imagined if this is now, what the hell awaits behind the front door. Botox: Price: I purchased the Groupon for 20 units and I knew going into the appointment, I'd be paying for additional units since I normally get 28. When I told her that, she responds with the minimum for the forehead area is 30, but she'll give me the units for $10 instead of $12. I know 28 units is just fine for my forehead, but let's see where she places them. Injections: a previous review stated it was torture for her and unfortunately, she is right. I have never had Botox be painful and when I say painful, I mean torture. It was awful. You can hear the needle pierce your skin then go in a tad deeper and the Botox burned!!!! Staff: the front desk girls were wonderful and the dr. Is nice. Results: I will update this review once the Botox kicks in. They have a referral program. They gave me a couple vouchers for my friends to get Botox for $8.50 a unit. I'm not going back let alone refer my friends, but if anyone wants to try her out I'll send you the voucher. read more

They're very flexible with appointments, I usually get an appointment the same day I call. Once I get there it takes no more than 10 minutes until the doctor sees me. I got Botox and Bellotero at this location--it was my first time for both procedures. I came in via the groupon for 20 units, and while Khan tried to sell me more, it didn't feel like a salesperson type strategy. She explained that given my situation I needed more units-- not a ton more, but a few more. I agreed and was so glad I did: she did a BEAUTIFUL job, using minimal units to work on my wrinkles. My wrinkles disappeared and I didn't have a frozen face. With bellotero, she's clearly an expert. She injected into my lips and injected the filler so strategically she used the natural collagen and shape of my lips to make them look even better. Some of my pickiest women friends were very impressed with my results as was I. I truly believe that some of the negative reviews they have on here have to be competitors or nasty haters. read more

This was second time getting botox on my forehead by Dr. Khan. I've started to do botox at 31 years of age now I'm 36 and have always driven to either Beverly hills or west hollywood in hopes of getting the best treatment disregarding the price or the commute. Dr. Khan's work has proved to me that its not necessarily important for a procedure to be more expensive or be in the certain area of location but the work of the doctor herself. I can tell you that she's a true artist at knowing the exact places to inject and really understands how the facial muscles work in order to have that natural but refreshed look which doesn't look like you had anything done but you just look way better. Another thing i'd like to compliment on this place of business is that they were the most amazing staff including Dr. Khan's husband who let me walk out without holding any collator of mine because i was $110 short. I didn't realize that i didn't have enough money on me when i came here but they didn't make me feel ashamed or uncomfortable about it and trusted me to walk out and bring the money when i was able to bring it. They didn't even call me or harassed me even though its been a week since i haven't gone to pay them back due to my hectic busy life with my two little daughters. I heard she's also very good with fillers as well so on my next app i will be getting my lips and nasal labia done as well. I went in to see Dr.Kahn,was feeling bad and needed a pick me up,so the story goes...She takes a look at my face and is very nice and professional and her place is beautiful and very soothing,comforting atmosphere. Now prices were good,her husband who does the promotions was very detailed oriented with prices,so I couldn't go wrong on that part either,as I compared to a lot of other spas. Dr.Kahn's work is very professional,accurate,she's very nice & friendly,some stinging and pinching type of discomfort,I wouldn't say painful (and I hate needles). The Dr herself is very beautiful and very youthful looking herself. In the end I did my forehead (and I have a big forehead) and freshening up of my lips without a dramatic over noticeable look & natural. BE CAREFUL and WATCH OUT. This business name is Arcadia Medical SPA which had very bad bad reviews on Yelp and seems like the owner try to fool people by using business name as Fauzia Khan, MD to get better reviews. I got a Groupon deal of $109 for 20 units of Botox. Dr. Khan said I need an other 26 units and charged me for additional $257. I paid because this is my 1st Botox and inexperienced and getting married soon... Now I realized that: * They did not apply the 46 units AT ALL. Nothing has changed on my face. They lie * They charged me extra units to make it up for the cheap Groupon's rate. * Dr. Khan is so forgetful. She asked the same thing over and over to the point I felt she is abnormal. For ex: she asked for my age more than 5 times. * She can't even treat fungal skin infections inside her palm hand. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCED AND NEVER COME BACK. Plus the doctor isn't specialized in cosmetic and plastic. Be careful. read more

Oh man, this place is soooo sketchy. A very low-rent operation to be sure, and the negative reviews all echo my own experience. I will not be going back. The building is a house that was sort of converted to an office in a not-so great neighborhood... across from a Burger King if you get my drift. I'm new to the area or I would have realized this isn't normal even for SoCal. The staff is kind but dressed extremely casually. There are brochures for gout medication covering one wall and Diabetes magazine in the waiting room. Huh? I thought this was a Medspa? Some spa. Furniture looks mismatched/secondhand, and not in a cute way. None of this disqualifies the place completely... Just setting the stage. There's an unsettling sign up on the wall that says essentially if you have any complications from medical procedures performed here please contact Dr. Kahn before you go to urgent care or emergency. That sounded so iffy to me. But there's a real doctor here, after all, and all of my misgivings would go away once I met with the... AAAAAHHHH! The "doctor" has a scary looking over-filled clown face. I mean, picture the worst plastic surgery caricature you can, with huge fish lips and frozen eyes and abnormally smooth immobile cheeks. Her face is exactly that. She couldn't even move her lips to talk. Which might have been why she was slurring her words. But she also seemed dazed, in that few-too-many-painkillers-this-morning kind of way. No real bedside manner or professional demeanor... Instead she bent down to say hello to my infant who was in my arms... Then RUBBED HER FACE against his. OMG!! I have no idea what sorts of sick people have been in there previously, you are never supposed to touch someone else's baby, period, without permission much less without washing hands. Doctors know this. Doctors never shake hands until they wash first and then they wash again after. I started doubting she was a doctor at this point. But like an idiot, I still climbed in the chair. I drove all this way, and I had already paid, and I got a great price so maybe it'll work out? She asked what I wanted to do and I said just the 11s between my eyebrows with my Groupon 20 units. She tells me I look really tired and then gives me the hard upsell about how 30 or 40 would be better because if she didn't do my whole forehead I would be unhappy with the results. I shut that down without attempting to explain I want to look natural because obviously that would go over her head. She makes me frown and draws white dots on my forehead but I can feel they are uneven from left to right. Then the needle comes out. I can hear her puncture my skin and then OH GOD IT BURNS. Five injections. She says it must hurt because I am a mom and tense, because no one else ever experiences pain. (Except ALL the other negative Yelp reviewers evidently). Then she says I'm done and I awkwardly see myself out. I feel somehow violated. In the car I check the rearview and see she has left the white dots drawn all over my forehead. That was the last straw. I called Groupon and told them I was shocked they were doing business with this kind of operation and that it reflected badly on them. Then I got a refund. I have to wait a few days to see results from the Botox, but several other reviewers have said it's ineffective anyway. I would not be surprised if they are somehow diluting it or using another substance altogether. Going forward I expect to have nightmares where scary drunk clown ladies poke me with sharp things. I wish I could undo the last two hours. I have learned my lesson about researching before purchasing this kind of service. Buyer beware. read more

This was my second time getting a Botox treatment on my forehead area by Dr. Khan. And let me tell you I'm soooo happy I did. She definitely knows the structure of the facial muscles and knew exactly where to inject so that you look like yourself but just fresher and brighter. Another thing I'd like to mention that was so incredibly sweet and something that I should let everyone know because no other place of business would ever let you do this. So after the doctor was done with me and it was time for me to pay for the amount of units that she did, I realized I didn't have enough money, I was about $150 short. I was mortified because I was so sure that I had brought enough. Dr. Khan's husband and their staff didn't make me feel ashamed and told me to leave and come back whenever I had the rest without taking any collateral or anything for them to hold. I was so embarrassed but at the same time so thankful that they've trusted me that way and didn't make me feel like I was trying to screw them. I was suppose to come back that same day and pay the difference but because I have a toddler in daycare my obligation was to pick her up since it was about to be a crazy traffic. This is the third day and anyone who's done Botox knows that by third day you can see pretty dramatic results. It's also been the third day that I still haven't payed them. And not even once have they called me or bothered me about the payment. I'll be going to the office myself to pay them what I owe them tomorrow afternoon. Pretty bad experience here today. The little guy looks like a Willy Wonka character, he was rude and disrespectful. He clearly suffers from A Napoleon complex. He seems to think it's OK to keep the patient waiting around until the doctor decides to show up. I asked for a timeline as to when the doctor was expected in. He had the nerve to say I don't know, and hands me a magazine as if to say I have time to wait around. So of course I gathered my things and proceeded to leave the building, as I walked out he started yelling out the door like a mad man. I came here in the past and I had really good results. On 6/25/21, had my nose and cheeks injected with radiesse, and xemonin for 11s(by a different person). At first i it looked to be okay, i noticed a very slight curve on my nose. I hopes after I hoped after the swelling went down that it would be OK or truthfully I was hoping maybe I had a pimple underneath? However some time has passed and not only is crooked there's also a lump that was not there before. I did follow up with them two weeks afterwards, and theyvsaid to come back when karen was back, howevee, I'm process of getting my Covid vaccinations, and was advised to wait at lease two weeks after lase dose before any derma fillers as theres been reported rare chance of side. I dont want to leave negative reviews; in this case I have to do to. I will update this review if this issue gets correctly addressed. But for now unfortunately I have to leave it a one star review and very disappointed. I have yet to see them to see if what steps they can do to correct the process and I'm hoping that they will not be charging me for this fix. Ill post pictures soon read more

I've been to Dr Khan twice for botox. They aren't cheap, but I didn't exactly feel cheated. Their prices are comparable to many places. The doctor is very gentle and so nice. She definitely knew what she was doing and I was very much at ease. She spent a lot of time answering my questions and talking with me on a social level. I would never have gone back a second time otherwise. My forehead and eye wrinkles disappeared like magic both times, and I was a satisfied customer. Also, the girls at the desk are very friendly and helpful. I don't know about other treatments, but the botox was good. read more

"doctor" didn't clean the area before injecting me. She was very pushy on selling me more Botox units, after so much the doctor was not happy I didn't buy any more Botox. She made it clear I need it more and was not going to turn out good because I need it more than what i bought. She got a call and she hurry to put the Botox and continue to complain I "need it more Botox to make work right" .. I said ouch a few times and disregard my feeling. 2 days later my forehead still hurts!!! I had Botox 5 other times at other locations in the past 4 years and this is the first time the injection penetration was hurting so much., 2 days and I am still hurting... oh she didn't put on gloves either. read more

Soooo....i am not a first time botoxer and when you first come here you feel comfortable. They are all really nice. So I got 20 units for $99 and an additional 30 and like i said i get botox and 20 is enough between my brows and the additional i asked for the crows feet anyways i have never got that much but figured why not.(She did keep saying I need more it might work why I didnt get up and leave I dont know There are risks but she was just trying to sell).Well nothing happened. I called them and they agreed i needed more so she gave me more and nothing. Its been 1 moth or so and i have to go somewhere else. They are either giving watered down botox or she really is trying to juice people or she has no idea what the heck she is doing. To add I even told them I had gone to a previous Dr. and felt very uncomfortable becsue they were being so pushy and when i said i didnt want additional she got upset and just stuck me with the needle. During my procedure she looked at her ipod to see how to fill my chin with Radiesse. here I am five months later and I am still deformed from her inadequate skills!! I went the spa after buying a Groupon for a small amount of Dysport. It was only the second time having it done, the first being at Skin Savve in Hermosa Beach where I had been very happy with the results and staff. At Arcadia, the front desk staff was very nice, but the Dr. came off super sketchy. I had a gut reaction when I met her, but decided to stay. To begin with, she seemed rushed even though no other patients were, and I was skeptical because she has obviously massively overdone fillers and botox in her own face, to the point of looking like a caricature . She didn't seem to know 100% what she was doing and bedside manner was a little questionable. Then, without saying a word, she apparently injected an extra $100 worth of Dysport without so much as mentioning it or asking me (right after I said I had only done this once before and was very conservative about this kind of thing and didn't want more than what I paid for on Groupon to be on the safe side) - just walked me to the front desk, said goodbye without looking me in the eye and informed the front desk staff that I owed $100 and then disappeared into the back. I was taken aback but paid, but it left a very bad taste in my mouth. To be honest, I think it was a scam because for supposedly doubling the dosage I had gotten the first time somewhere else, the treatment was FAR less effective than the first. :/ Will not return. read more
