The windows came in a little earlier than estimated and Jamie got us scheduled very easily for the install. Adam and his crew completed the install on a very hot day in June. They worked efficiently, even though I believe they may have been short handed that day. Again, the install was completed in a shorter time than promised and the work they did was so professional. Just a few scuffs to paint here and there which are to be expected with a big job like this, so no problem there at all. The windows have completely elevated the look of our home. The cost was more than reasonable. And this week the temperatures outside are around 108 and I already notice some difference in the room over our garage that is always the warmest in the house.

I had several estimates but Krasiva, although not the lowest Jeff presented as the most trustworthy company. I reviewed Jeff earlier in year and came right back to him when ready to get project done. He came back out and we got paperwork done. Dustin came out and measured. They were both very informative about the whole project and estimate of when job would be done. I learned about door frames and stuff I don't remember now, but they do the job to insure its sound construction. Communication was great. Yelonda in office called or emailed to keep me updated, give me information and answer my questions. Never did I have to reach out more than once to get an answer. That says a lot about a company and how they treat their customers. I felt valued and respected. I also think the company owner and management has to be treating these folks well which trickles down to customers. It finally came to day for installation, Thursday July 23rd. Dustin and I believe it was Glennis arrived a little early ready to work. The electrician came shortly after and installed light fixture I purchased. Then door install began. Not sure how they worked the long hours they did with it something like 110 out, but they got things done. Dustin came back next day for several hours to finish up, it was only to be 116 that day. I'd also purchased a keyless entry deadbolt that he put in. They got everything accomplished and it looked great. Everything was cleaned up and my door was now there. Monday Spencer came and painted. I purchased the type of paint recommended for door and had it match my exterior. (I'm in a HOA community. Door is behind gate and barely can see top and light fixture from street, but I followed HOA guidelines). Just had whole door and frame done in same color. If you prefer different trim color you just get different color, but I'm fine with it all matching rest of house. Inside it "pops" on white wall. Spencer did a great job and door looks flawless. If you need a door installed call these folks. Any extra money you may spend will be well worth it. Knowing they followed city codes and building codes, did the necessary work to insure the job was done right. They even checked with my HOA if needed approval, which I did have to have. They did what was needed to make things strong and secure with no corner cutting. I think the door will last for many years to come. Couple other companies were kind of wishy washy on if need to follow all codes, and need of HOA approval, and it made me feel uncomfortable. I wanted to be sure nothing would come up down the road that some part of job wasn't right or maybe a hazard. Overall a great experience. These folks were always polite, respectful and friendly. Had a few nice conversations with Dustin and Spencer. Close to my generation. Oh, they had terrific music playing too, tunes I remember. Again call Krasiva if you need doors or windows. Jeff had told me Krasiva means Beautiful in Russian. And my door is definitely Krasiva.

I would not recommend this company…read more Our sales representative was great, but almost everything after the sale was a completely different experience. Our Milgard windows arrived at K&J's warehouse on time, yet the owner and office continued telling us they had not arrived. I eventually confirmed through one of their installers that the windows were already there. Only after I called K&J and told them I knew they had been delivered did the story change. I was then told installation would be more than another month away. Before ordering, K&J sent out the installer the owner described as their "best installer" because our job was complicated. He inspected everything beforehand to confirm measurements, window types, and installation requirements. After our windows arrived, we learned the installers we had been working with were no longer working with K&J. We were told K&J had a major installation backlog and had hired another crew. That crew subsequently stopped working with them as well. The delays and misinformation we had been receiving suddenly made much more sense. Things became worse when I met the owner. He was extremely rude and dismissive toward my wife. While walking the project with another installer, he repeatedly interrupted everyone and told them to stop talking and listen to him because he knew what he was doing. He then announced that ALL of our windows were wrong, blamed the installers who had left, and said K&J could no longer complete our job and would have to refund us. At this point, WE HAD ALREADY WAITED OVER SIX MONTHS. With the owner standing there, I asked the installer directly if the windows were actually wrong. He disagreed with the owner and explained why they could be installed correctly. At that point, I completely lost confidence in K&J and chose to have the original installers complete the job independently--the same installers the owner and sales representative had previously praised as their best people. I also learned K&J sells the windows but uses subcontractors for installation. Anyone considering them should get clear answers IN WRITING about exactly who will install your windows and who is responsible for installation workmanship, repairs, and warranty issues. The final straw came when we picked up our windows from their warehouse. The owner, his son, and other employees were there. Their behavior toward both me and the installers was rude, confrontational, aggressive, and incredibly unprofessional. Comments made during that interaction also reinforced my belief that customers were being told their windows had not arrived when the actual problem was K&J's installation backlog. The Milgard windows themselves were never the problem. They arrived as expected, and our initial sales experience was good. The problems were K&J's communication, scheduling, management, treatment of customers and installers, and the owner's handling of our project. What was even more concerning was what happened when we started sharing our experience with friends, family, and others in our neighborhood. Multiple people told us they had the SAME OR VERY SIMILAR experiences with K&J. Some actually told us they wished they had known we were considering K&J beforehand because they would have warned us not to use them. I really wish we had talked to them first. After more than SIX MONTHS of waiting, contradictory information, multiple installation crews leaving, being told our windows weren't there when they were, and ultimately being told K&J couldn't complete the job, we had enough. I have dealt with many contractors and businesses over the years and have rarely experienced leadership and customer service this poor. Based on our experience--and after hearing remarkably similar stories from people we personally know--I would absolutely NOT use K&J Windows again or recommend them to friends, family, or neighbors.

First win - the young lady answered the phone on the second ring. Second win - she asked me to hold while she checked to see if the technician to cut a specific size of glass was still around in the back. Third win - she confirmed that he was available, they were still capable and willing to accommodate my request. Fourth and final win and requires props - I am now a "customer for life" with Five Star Glazing. I showed up to pick up my piece of glass. The owner actually assisted me with replacing it in the frame, put it back together, and helped me in every way he could, going WAY above and beyond What I expected to encounter. They have the customer at front of mind, just like we expect it to be, but rarely if ever encounter any more. They even stock ancient parts as he produces them with technology as a friend. Call them and talk to Selena or Ben if you have a special need or request. Clearly, they focus on customer service and satisfaction and are just great at what they do and very kind. If you need anything Glass related - these guys are the best I've ever seen at serving customers and having the knowledge to provide you with a solution.

They are not a reputable company.
