We hired them to replace two 40-year old, single-pane, aluminum windows and two sliding patio doors with Anlin low-E vinyl windows and doors. They did a great job on the installation and we are very happy with the quality of the work and the quality of the windows and doors. Not only that, but the pricing was very fair. We initially had two remodel companies come out to quote for the replacement and both used high pressure sales tactics to try to get us to sign a contract the same day, and even after repeatedly dropping their price by thousands of dollars, both companies were $5k higher than Weathersby's initial, no pressure quote. read more

This all started when I was looking to initially have some window glass replaced due to seal failure, then changing my thoughts to replacing a couple of windows, then re-thinking that it would look odd for my home. Hesitantly I started to get bids, which I highly recommend, not only for pricing comparison but also to get a feel for each company/sales pitch, etc. Weathersby pricing was competitive. These are the reason I personally went with them: * They were not pushy but rather informative and assisted in choice options for each room window that varied. * I was concerned with how the old windows were being removed and the look with new windows on a stucco exterior and being properly sealed. Michael took the time to explain their process, which made me feel more at ease. * They were upfront about the timelines with the window ordering to install. A shout out to Chris, Bubba, Tim, and Kirk for the largest picture window (7'-9" x 5'-9") installation, it was picture perfect . They were on-time, professional, and cleaned up after window replacement. Chris, how those windows fit just perfect with the existing raised stucco is amazing. I literally feel like I moved into a new home. I personally went with the Milgard Tuscany Series. I know the Tuscany may cost more but living here in the blazing state of Arizona it was a COOL, right choice for me, well worth the look, comfort and view. I was happy with the window installation itself, but I had a poor experience with my assigned contact/sales representative. First of all, after the window came in, instead of scheduling ahead, he wanted to wait until his crew was already coming out to install another window in the area, and then schedule less than a week ahead. I could only get scheduled last minute, making it more difficult to adjust my schedule. It felt like he was only willing to schedule me if it was convenient or his workers had nothing else to do. Maybe my sliding door wasn't a big enough project for them, but then why even take the project. My Homeowners Association told me I needed at least 8 days so they could approve my request and when I told my sales representative I needed to schedule out further, he told me dealing with the homeowners association was just a technicality anyway and that if I canceled now, it would be inconvenient for his workers (even though he only reached out a day ago to schedule). The actual window installation itself was done perfectly, and the workers were friendly, respectful, and very caring with their work. However, by accident, there was a droop of adhesion that fell onto the downstairs neighbors wall, and when I sent the sales rep a picture and gave him an opportunity to fix it, he didn't even look into fixing it for weeks. When I followed up, he said it would be a couple more weeks before he could send someone out to "brush it off" because he was on vacation. I told him because it involved my neighbor, and her patience was waning, I would like it done sooner (at this point, he already had had 3 weeks to handle it or have someone handle it before he went on vacation). He ended up having someone come out sooner, but because it couldn't just be "brushed off" like he minimized it out to be, the person ended up scraping off the paint along with the adhesion and it looked worse. As a result, I had to take my own time and money to fix their mistake, get paint to match, and do it myself. He didn't even let me know when he sent someone out to fix it or ask me how it went and I didn't want to spend any more time dealing with someone who was just minimizing the situation. Then there was an issue with the screen door being defective (which wasn't Weathersby's fault), but I was left having to follow up on when and if the new one they ordered had come in. If he would have given me an estimate of around when it was expected and that I'd hear from him then, I'd feel taken care of, but I was left bewildered having to initiate contact for any updates. And then, when it came in, he just announced one morning he was in the area and would be stopping by without asking if I was even around that day or trying to coordinate. Also, through the mishaps, I did not receive one apology from him. Even in cases where something is not your fault, one can say, "I'm sorry this happened. We're going to fix this." Nothing like that. It felt like the project was a complete inconvenience to him. When I would ask for an update or bring something up, I felt like a complete troublemaker for even asking about it. I can't say Weathersby as a whole is horrible because, as I mentioned, the actual patio door, fortunately, was done great. It was more my experience with my sales representative that made for a bad experience. Hope this information is helpful. Positive Update/Edit: After writing this, the very next day the owner of Weathersby Windows & Doors (Darrin Weathersby) reached out to me personally and apologized for my experience. EVERY single person that I dealt with at Weathersby Windows was knowledeable and polite. I am an existing customer and when contacting the store the folks there want to bring resolution to my requests. Other competitors bring up obstacles. I had unfortunately bought a couple of windows and a sliding door from a national seller and it has been nothing but trouble. They are into their 9th month and still do not have the installation completed. The Weatersby Windows sales-person (Vinnie) was perfect. He stayed on top of the intallation project from start to finish and kept us informed about appointments. The reason I gave them a 5-STAR rating is that there is not one single thing I would change about how the entire process flowed. And equally important is that these windows work like magic. We had all of our windows and patio doors replaced in 2017. In the following years we had a few problems with the patio doors. Each time I called, I got in the schedule and Chris came to fix the problems. Last week, I called because rain was dripping through one of my master bedroom window. Chris came again and made sure to put caulking around the outside of my window as it had deteriorated over time. He didn't charge for his service and I was happy to get the problem fixed. I called to make an appointment. I was told appointments are at 2 weeks out. Took my name and information and was given a date and time. I called 5 minutes before scheduled appointment to confirm and was told I wasn't in their book. I was then told the owner's wife would call me back. She never did. Glad this happened as I would not want to hire any company that can't track appointments and don't care about missed appointments that wasted and delayed customer time. Find someone else who cares. Ross was great at representing Weatherby. He was on time and was very competitive with the quote. He was considerably lower than the other companies we received quotes from. The wait time was much less than we expected, only about 3 weeks. The installation was not as positive as it appeared they were not as experienced at cutting the existing windows out of a manufactured home. They dinged the the trim on several windows and were not able to patch them up real good. I spent several hours trying to get it look better before painting. We are very pleased with the Milgard Trinsic windows. We are waiting to see what the energy savings will be. read more

Never was able to purchase product. Was difficult setting appointment, then day of, no one called to confirm, so called them. Appointment was set, sales person 30 min. late. Called office, and they were pretty rude, saying "people run late. He should have called". Well, he never did, and after way everything was handled, moving on to more professional companies. Very poor customer service. Never receive call backs. Broken promises on instillation dates and so many excuses. My husband finally exploded and we got some action taken. Is'tn that a sad thing to say. Contract stated 4-5 weeks and after 8 weeks, the day before they were to install the door,(which had been 7th week) they said it wasn't made correctly. They would get it remade ASAP. So what, tack on another 8 weeks? After 2 months we got our deposit back. Need I say anymore. read more

Door handle either locked us in or would not lock. Would not address damaged wood floor issue. Huge gap left between door and floor. Left us to clean up the doors and remove and clean all stickers. Steve was very informative without being pushy at all and helped us choose what worked for our home and our budget. We replaced 16 windows in our 2 story home. We purchased Milgard windows which had a great warranty and came In under our budget. Window install was pretty painless, they finished a day ahead of schedule, and the installers were very easy to work with, they even let our dogs in for a water break. I don't even know where to start...our experience was flawless from start to finish. Diana, Chris, John, and the whole team were incredible. Everyone was knowledgeable and helpful. I spent a month making decisions about ratios for openings, style of window, etc. No one ever made me feel rushed or pressured. They were always available to answer questions. Our windows got here FAST! I barely had time to blink and we were already setting an install date. And the install team were meticulous. I have never in my life seen contractors that careful, skilled, and neat. They made almost no mess, and the mess they did make, they cleaned up! I have also never seen such PERFECT caulk lines. WHAT? How does that even happen??? Caulk is evil! Nope, lovely and perfect, super neat little lines that blend seamlessly into the house. Also, the measurements were perfect - and I mean PERFECT. These windows replaced the original windows from 1961 - steel frame casement windows. I have no idea how Chris measured so exactly - they fit precisely in the openings - no gaps! They were seriously EXACTLY the right size for every single opening. And the windows themselves are amazing. I'm so glad we went with Milgard. What a difference. And their prices were competitive and reasonable. I can't say enough good things. I can't even think of anything I would add as a negative - this was an absolutely perfect experience. I thought ripping windows out of my home would be stressful and messy - Weathersby made it easy, fun, and fast! We are so pleased! read more
