Arch Angels is easily the worst business I have patronized in my 20 years of living in New York City. I found their entire operation to be anti-customer and I seriously question their ethics. Many people come to a place like this looking for hope and healing after experiencing significant trauma from past surgeries and to camouflage those scars. Instead, you are left emotionally and physically scarred by a business that is aggressively focused on PROFIT over people. If you have already had a traumatic experience, do not expect healing here--expect to be further traumatized. My experience was incredibly intrusive. They record you undressing on camera without consent and aggressively photograph your face and other parts of your body that have nothing to do with the procedure. To make matters worse, they failed to respond to multiple messages, failed to provide me with a proper consultation, and applied the wrong ink color to my skin. They also ambush you with a mountain of legal paperwork while you're already undressed and on the treatment table, trying to strip you of your rights before you can even think. The owner is dismissive and rude, clearly caring more about their 'no refund' policy than doing right by a customer. I am currently in the process of filing formal complaints with multiple New York City and State consumer protection agencies, and I am pursuing a criminal complaint against the co-owner Daly Beneche and her staff regarding these privacy violations. I scheduled an appointment and they took a hefty deposit from me. I told them I was arriving a little bit late because of accidents and traffic on the highway. I received a text message saying to not arrive any later than my arrival time so I asked to reschedule. Because of that I left because I was arriving really late. Later I received a message saying I could arrive at 10:30am. I should have received a call about that. I live 50 minutes away and had no control over the traffic. My experience wasn't good. I went to get my brows done, not talk the entire time. If you don't match their energy they'll take it as rudeness. I wanted my brows softly rounded and even provided photos when asked by Daly herself many times. This didn't stop her from eventually making TWO EYEBROW TAILS once she tried to correct her work. Of course, it was my fault that I didn't give her enough detail and she openly berated me about how I shouldn't have told her what I wanted because it wasn't correct for my face. I thought spending around $1,300 for her service would give me some input on what I want my eyebrows to look like but apparently not. After you get your brows done, this salon will hound you down for weeks for a good review and have nothing to do with your concerns unless you want to come in for another service. Maybe you're thinking "The reviews aren't THAT bad, and her results are pretty good! I should still go". I was also this person. I got my eye liner and eyebrows done with Daly. I am happy with the eye liner although I wish it started off wider and became thinner towards the middle of the eye. Regardless, I think it was a good job. I am NOT happy with my eyebrows and personally would never trust Daly with my face again. I came in to see Daly after getting microblading done in OH. The issue at the time was that the previous artist's strokes were deeper on one eyebrow over the other and they were slightly asymmetrical. Daly did a removal of the original work and I came back a few weeks later after they healed. The unfortunate part is that Daly basically went over the work of the original artist but made it more prominent. The new eyebrows almost look like a sharpie was used to draw on my eyebrows. The natural look of the individual hairs is gone. What's really upsetting is that she was training one of the employees and didn't outline the shape of both eyebrows before starting the job. I think it's irresponsible and just plain sloppy. Daly offered to continue working on my eyebrows and fix them for free. The issue here is that I don't trust her anymore and I don't think she knows how to make them symmetrical. I had to call several other artists and one pointed out that the tail on one of the eyebrows needs to be removed. Sure enough, I used some concealer to get rid of that tail and draw on a new one and they looked way better. I've been to see Daly 3 times now and have paid her for the removal, the full job and the touch up. I think all in all I paid her $3k (eyeliner and eyebrows). I asked her to give me the money back for the very last visit which was about $680 since I now have to go to another artist and pay for a removal and a new job. She said she would and then only gave me back $250 which is not what we agreed on and honestly was just insulting. I am so upset over this whole experience. Great results! The process to set up appointment is very easy and the staff is very friendly.

Just came back after my 3rd session of phi removal. I got tired of my eyebrow tattoo and I was recommended to chose phi removal over laser to avoid scarring. Since my first appointment everyone was very professional. Daly recommended me a 3 session package and so far I am satisfied. The tattoo hasn't faded yet and I will need more session, but I trust the process as I am seeing improvements and most important there is no scarring so far. Daly and Andrea were very careful in explaining the after care process after every removal session. Kudos to Andrea for being so sweet and patient with me for always asking to take breaks during the removal session and adding more numbing cream to avoid feeling any (little) pain. I visited the NJ location and I have to say their studio is very nice and clean and they respect Covid measure taking everyone's temperature and making sure no more than 2 people are accomodated at once. The level of care and attention to detail at Arch Angels was beyond compare. I was in town, visiting from the West Coast, and brought my (unwilling, pain-averse) mom in for a consultation. Not only did the owner put my mom at ease, she managed to squeeze us in for the actual service (brow microblading) - thank goodness, because I was unsure my mom would actually return on her own! Amy, the technician, and the owner ("Daly"), patiently walked my mother through the entire process and checked in with her frequently, to ensure that the discomfort was tolerable. Bad experience overall, both during the procedure and after. Seems like a very money hungry business as there is no offer for a refund on your deposit even if they tell you that you do not have the correct complexion to get the procedure done and will instead attempt to force you into a separate procedure to use up those funds. My appointment was rescheduled four times and then they attempted to cancel on me just a couple of hours before hand. My eyebrows are a product of the 1990's. Like most girls I over plucked to the point of no return.
