I have had beer from Arch Rock on more than one occasion now and out of all honesty it's just fair. The location is cool but the beer itself I just thought it was okay. Maybe I should have gotten a different beer of theirs rather than the same one from the two beer experiences I had and that is a likely factor but to be honest I kind of forgot I had their beer once before. The beer I had was their Gold Beach Lager which is clean, smooth, sweet and malty.The beer is also light bodied. So pretty much all of the bases are covered there with flavors for this beer type but it also tastes fairly corporate and if you tried beer from breweries of various sizes you can often tell the difference when you have a beer from a large scale, mass producing brewery. However despite saying that you don't see Arch Rock often in stores or as a guest tap anywhere which makes an interesting case. read more

I've been a fan of this brewery for about the past seven years. Very consistent and very good. I'm personally not a huge porter fan, but the pistol river, pale, and the IPA, are excellent. Doing tastings at the brewery was never really much of an event because the tasting area was so small. Now that they're at turtle rock in the new building it's a much much better experience. I pretty much always drank the pistol river pale till I stopped in at the turtle rock location and decided to try something different. Had the IPA, it was great. It's pretty much all I drink when I'm on the southern Oregon coast. Yes it's that good. read more

I was camping at the RV campground across the street and were told about this little place. It's not a big place but all I needed was to get my beer and go. The staff is super friendly. They gave me 3 samples to try. The beer was good we ended up buying a growler of the lager. If I'm ever back at Gold Beach I will definitely go back to refill my growler. read more

Wonderful brews coupled with hospitality and good service makes for one excellent microbrewery that I wish was located closer to me. While passing through the area, I heard about this place at the visitors' center and had to stop by to quench my thirst. I was very glad that I did! I ended up buying a growler of the porter to take with us. If you're anywhere in the area and way to try an uncommonly good trio of beers, stop here for a taste. If you're wise, you'll take some home with you. Note that there isn't a restaurant or even a bar, here. It's a micro-brewery with a sampler tap. You can taste the beers, buy a glass, buy a 32 oz growler, 64 ounce, or buy a keg. read more

The brewery is just a mile or so south of Gold Beach and to the left..easy to miss the road, so slow down. Its just basically a working micro-brewery with a very small tasting "room", really just a hall way with some seats. Guys in the brewery were very friendly , they had 4 beers on tap and all were excellent. They do crowlers ( Foster oil can size) and fill growlers. No food but the bar and grill next door gets good Yelp reviews. Nice will be back. read more

Have been hanging out in Gold Beach for the week and this local brewery is featured in several restaurants. We tried the pilsner and the pale ale, both of which are very good. I especially enjoyed the pale ale. We decided to stop in at their little brewery location and buy a growler and some merch. The guys there were very friendly land the prices were fair. The tasting room is just a little area next to their tanks but you can try all three of their regular beers there (and get a pint if you want to hang out and talk to the friendly folks). read more

This is a little hidden gem off the main highway that is entertaining and eccentric in decor and ambiance. The view of Hunter Creek with all of the jolly animals is entertaining and beautiful. I stopped by just as they were closing to get some beer to go and it did not disappoint! I didn't get the guy's name who helped me and I really should have because he was great! He gave me a small sample of all three beers, which were all amazing. I got two crowlers and a 32 oz growler. Their prices are great! Only $5 for a 32 oz growler and $10 for a 64 oz. The crowlers are $7 and are 25.4 oz. The guy working gave me great tips on where to eat. Definitely stop by if you are in the area. It's worth it! read more

I adore this place. We walked in not really knowing what to expect. The place is a little off the beaten path, but it's easy to find and not too far away from Gold Beach. Inside, we found a brewery, but no tables or a tasting room. Immediately, the owner greeted us and give us samples of all three beers. They were delicious. They only sell growlers, and we purchased the smaller one. It was only $10 to fill it up (growler included). We also weren't charged for the tasting. I thought it might be awkward, but the owner was very friendly and accommodating. We chatted over the tastings and wandered around the brewery. Overall, it was a very nice experience and the beer was excellent. I can't wait to go back the next time we're on the coast! read more

My friends and I went to this place purely on a whim because we were driving back to LA and we wanted to sample some craft beer on our way home. I'm just sad they don't make or sell such good beer in LA. To the place first : it's just off the 101 and easily accessible. Has ample parking space outside. It literally has 2 chairs for people to sit down and enjoy the beer but let that not fool you. The hosts are absolutely amazing people and they welcomed us to come into their brewery and sample all of their 4 beers (which were on them! How awesome is that!). They had pale ale, porter, Belgian and another one that I forget on tap. The pale and the porter were amazingly flavourful and rich beers. We did not have any plans to buy any beer for home but we ended up buying 4 crowlers for home which they can right in front of your eyes which is pretty cool to watch. It's a family run small business and this place truly deserves all the love and support that we can give. The owners also came to us and spoke with us about our trip and their business and it was a very memorable experience for us! Highly recommended! 6/5! 1 extra star for recommending us a great place to eat too. read more

Great small craft brewery; only 4 beers available, but all are superb! The lager is a GABF Gold medal winner, and the State of Jefferson Porter and Pistol River Pale are fabulous. The fourth tap is a seasonal and will always be tasty. Limited distribution, so stop by the brewery and get a glass before filling a growler (or two)! read more
