TERRIBLE SERVICE and NOW HALF PORTIONS. We've put up with rudeness from the owner for over two years, partly because we try really hard to support local businesses and partly because it's the only game in town. Lately its just gone past being tolerable. Weve discussed this with many local friends and have tried to write it off to cultural communication differences but its not that at all. The owner is just not a nice person...at least to us. We go once a week, spending about 30$ a week. You would think our business would be appreciated. Lately shes taken to telling us 20 minutes for our order, then keeping us waiting up to 45 minutes..whwn we check its obvious the food has been sitting a while and its cold. The last two orders she literally gave us HALF the normal order of orange chicken. We just cant put up with the bad experience any more. Sunset pizza across the street does serve excellent orange chicken with a fully home made delicious sauce. read more

Windy and cold but speedy service near closing time on a weeknight in July. Chicken Pad Se Ew (Broccoli Noodles) is a personal favorite Thai dish and this was a pretty good preparation. Vegetables were tender crisp and eggs were scrambled in as they should be. Chicken was mostly tender. Chef cashier did not ask me what spice level I desired, so it was unspiced. I would preferred a mild to medium, but they were closed by then so I couldn't ask for more seasonings. I ate some on the picnic tables outside and then took the rest back to my husband at the hotel. Turns out the mild was just the ticket for a queasy tummy, so win win. read more

What a fun spot in tiny town. I was craving Thai and had my dog with me so this food truck stop was perfect. The set up is really nice right along the main drag in Gold Beach with tables to sit at. The menu is really great and they have a lot of specials. I tried the pad se ew and mango sticky rice. Both were wonderful. I don't think I've ever had carrots in pad se ew before but hey, they were great! I would recommend calling ahead to order if you're going to take out. Visiting Gold Beach, wanted to try this place. Ordered the Basil fried rice with chicken for $12. Nice large portion with good balance of vegetables and chicken to rice. Very light on the basil. Definitely needed more basil. The rice was a bit too sweet for my tastes. And zero spice or chili peppers. As far as I know, traditional Kra Pao rice is very spicy. The cooks should tell you and ask you if you want the chilies. The vedge of lime was badly needed to balance out some of the sweet with acid. But it wasn't enough. I had to use a lot of Tabasco sauce to balance it out more and give it the spice it needed. The few cucumbers were refreshing and the best part of the meal. read more

Yelp reviews were also solid so we tried it out - would HIGHLY recommend if you are in the area. We ordered pad see ew and crab fried rice and it did not disappoint! Pad see ew: not super oily, sweet and savory, wide noodles were cooked well and chewy, and the vegetables were charred perfectly and gave the dish the extra flavor.
