I used to just use an eyebrow razor for my eyebrows but getting them threaded here is next level and I don't mind paying for it! I love the way Zora/Zoran does my brows. She takes her time to perfect them even though I know my brows aren't that well to begin with. Very clean environment and $12 isn't too bad for an eyebrow thread. read more

Beware you will come out with thin eyebrows !!! I wanted to give them another-chance but this is the last time. I came for a clean up and I always tell them I do not want them thin due to my past experiences overall. When I look I'm horrified and I told the girl that they were thin I tried to keep my cool, so I'm thinking the tint will help. It helped a little bit but now paying more attention to them you can see they are crooked and super thin. The right pictured was how thick I had them even with the little filling you can see my eyebrow hair. The left picture is how currently they look. You can see how some hairs are so uneven. This is one of the cleanest threading locations I've been to. They have used/clean pens for sign in, they spray and wipe down every chair after use, and I saw they immediately put their scissors and other tools in a sanitizing solution when they finish. They use the method that uses only the hand/neck (not mouth). Pro-tip, sanitize YOUR hands before they start because there is a part where you have to help hold your skin down/touch your eyelid. I go here for my brows and it's $10. With no wait, you can go in and out within 5-10 minutes. They're quick but the quality is good. I'm always pleasantly surprised with how much they can clean up and shape in such a short visit. I don't have very thick eyebrows and I do upkeep them throughout the year so I'm always awed when my brows look so clean and crisp. Both Union City and Fremont locations are good for brows. read more

Walk ins available to wax eyebrow. My aunt loved the result! We requested for wax eyebrow, which she did.. but then proceeded to do threading afterwards. I tried to let her know that my aunt didnt want that but she didnt hear me properly and thought i asked if it was done. so she continued to thread after waxing. during the wax & threading my aunts head was not supported so her neck was hurting a lot after since its just hanging off the chair. I tried asking if they can put like a head rest but I guess they didnt have it???? In the end my aunt liked the results but her neck was hurting badly after. read more

They will thin out your eyebrows. I specifically asked for a cleanup and to not thin out my eyebrows but everytime they just disregard what I say. This time was the final straw because the lady who opened did a horrible job. She completely thinned out my right eyebrow and kept my left one thick making them look so uneven. 0/10 will never be coming back! read more

I used to visit this place a few years ago and had a good experience back then, but something has definitely changed--perhaps the ownership. First of all, the staff was not welcoming at all. Wherever I go, I'm usually greeted with a smile, but that was missing here. The lady who did my threading seemed a bit rude and didn't even ask how I wanted my brows done. She just went ahead without any communication, didn't offer any aloe vera or tissue to clean up afterward either. The threading itself was average--not as precise or neat as I expected. The only positive was that the place was very clean and nicely maintained. Unfortunately, the service and attitude really need improvement. I come here quite a few times because it's close to my house. While usually i walk away with eyebrows with a nice shape, a few times i have came about 15-20 mins before they close. (for context, my work schedule is over within the last hour the shop is open.) well, suppose to close. because one of the ladies flipped the sign and closed the shop. So today i decided to called them, as im sitting outside their shop and they flat out told me that they close 15 mins prior to the actual closing time. mind you, there was a lady currently getting services from them. I used to here when another threading business was operating but they shut down after the lock down. So when I saw the sign that this new business had opened up I was excited! I saw on Yelp that they have an original shop in Fremont. This business keeps their store well cleaned. The owner was very nice and she also did my eyebrows. She kept asking if I was ok and asked how I like them. I first want to start off by saying I have been going to Sharan's since I was 15 and I am now 20. I am very particular with my eyebrows mainly because I have thick eyebrows and I would hate for anyone to mess them up but not once has Sharan or her team messed me up. If she moved away, I wouldn't know what to do or who else to go to in Fremont or Union City because she simply is the best. She has a ton of experience and her lovely team is also just as amazing. i have been going to sharan threading for the past 4-5 years and its the only place i trust with my eyebrows. i usually get them done by sharan but any of the other eyebrow ladies are very qualified as well. every since i have been coming here i have never left with bad eyebrows and trust me i am very particular about my eyebrows since they are a big feature on my face.they are very consistent with their work and they know how to mimic what you want. not only are they good up at cleaning up you're eyebrows but great at doing it according to your face shape and eyebrows, which not that maybe other places do. they have many other services that are great as well such as facials and waxing. honestly i would rate it a 11/10 and you must try! read more

Please don't visit this place. I started frequenting this shop after my regular place closed down, and I only came here because it is close to my house. The only good esthetician was the owner, Sharan, and she was hardly ever there. Sharan's employees are generally rude, heavy handed, and rough around the edges. They are constantly stressed or tired, and they don't pay attention to the clients' requests. Once I gave an esthetician specific instructions on how to wax my side burns. She subsequently slathers hot wax on the side of my face, rips the wax strip off my skin, and ripping off hair just above my ear. I was in shock, I just said "that's not what I asked you to do!". Of course she argued with me, and told me I was wrong and that was exactly what I said. She then had to do the same on the other side of my face to even things out. She was equally as rough as the first time, leaving my whole face numb and throbbing. One time I was there, and another customer was there getting her brows done. She was a beautiful girl, and as she got up to get out of the chair she almost fell forward into the mirror in front of her. She very politely told them to adjust the chair and the mat it was on, so this doesn't happen to someone else, the two estheticians then started talking to each other in their language, and the one that was helping the customer started telling her co-worker that it was the customer's fault. Again, blaming the customer. I don't understand their language, but the other customer did and responded by telling them that it was how the chair was placed that made her fall, but that she was able to catch herself. To add further insult to injury, as the customer was checking out, they tried charging her for 2 services! When the customer calmly explained that she only asked for her eyebrows to be done, the esthetician, insisted that she had also waxed her forehead. The customer then told her that was impossible because never gets her forehead waxed as she does laser hair removal, the other esthetician that was helping me stepped in and said to only charge for the one service. The last time I went I asked the esthetician to wax my brows and upper lip. I had had enough of them mauling my face and cutting my skin with their thread. They would always cut into the skin of my Dorsal Bridge when threading my brows, and I would have to stop them, because they weren't paying attention. Their threading always left my brows looking uneven, and it was the most painful thing ever. After waxing my upper lip, she looks at me and says "you can't wax your brows, because the wax won't work on your face. Your hairs are too thin." My eyebrows are not the thickest, but they are definitely not thin. I looked at her and I said " Do you not know how to wax? Because I have been waxing my brows for decades". She just looked at me and said " it's better if you thread." I then told her that I was going to go somewhere else to get my brows done, whereupon she backtracked and said that maybe she could wax some hairs off. I let her do it, and as a result my brows looked terrible. I went home and tweezed them myself, which is something I didn't want to do. Nowadays , I just go to the European Wax Center to do my brows. I pay twice as much, and it is farther away but it is virtually pain free. All the girls are extremely talented and professional. I can go to anyone at EWC and the results are always great and they are always consistent. read more

They take time to hear what you want, explain what they're going to do, and double/triple their work. I booked my appointment online through their website for facial. Making appointment was easy, but I wish I had also called to confirm as seems like it's a new system for the business. They were not aware of my appointment when I arrived, however, that didn't affect my service. Ranjan was very kind and explained everything well to me. She did a great job for eyebrow threading and facial. Massage was fantastic and very relaxing!! My face feels so refreshed. The facility is quite big, very clean and just beautiful. So I did a walk in eyebrow threading, the only lady was busy working and told me to just sign in. I was new and had no idea where I was supposed to sign in and kind of just left me looking around like an idiot for a few minutes. I had to find out from another customer that it's next to the door kind of hidden behind a sign. waited about 20 minutes which is fine, my eyebrows looked great. The lady who did my eyebrows asked if I wanted aloe Vera and I said no since I tend to have reactions to stuff they put on my skin. Regardless of not asking for anything on my skin, I don't know if the thread was unsanitary/ used on other people and not changed but I left with a bumpy rash developing on my eyebrows. I've had my eyebrows threaded before with absolutely no problem. When I went home I used ice packs and a gel my doctor prescribed for reactions. Overnight I woke up having a full blown allergic reaction and my eyelids were swollen nearly shut. I had to take a lot of antihistamines to be able to sleep again, but woke up with my right eye still swollen pretty bad. I don't wear makeup and didn't do anything new to my face besides go to this eyebrow salon. The only thing that she used was the thread and eyebrow scissors so I can only guess one or both of those were unsanitary and caused me to have a reaction.
