Needed a smog check and this place was close to the DMV and open and fast! Also, the guy is like the nicest person on the planet. He was super sweet to the couple before me. He was super nice to me. And when he saw a homeless guy walk buy, he ran to the fridge, put a few items in a bag and ran after the guy to offer him some food. I didn't know people like this existed anymore. read more

I've taken my car to get a smog check at this place 3 times over the years and have always dealt with friendly staff during that process. I've also purchased propane as well as regular car gas so I've used just about every service they have to offer, including buying snacks in their mini mart! Arco always has competitive prices and this one is definitely a busy location because it's one of the last gas stations on Reseda as you head north to the 118 Freeway. Being that CSUN is just down the street and Reseda being a major thoroughfare for CSUN students who commute, this Arco is ALWAYS busy during normal daytime hours and even on into the night so be prepared to wait a few mins to get your turn! read more

This is the Second time I have shown up (@530) the door was locked and there was no sign off the attendant. I called the 24 hour number but it went to voice mail so myself and the three other cars after waiting a while left. What ever happened to putting a sign that said be back in 5 minutes? Are we supposed to wait all day at the door and wait for the attendant to come around and get us out of the heat? I wouldn't care but I have to go inside to swipe my ATM to fuel up at ARCO. If you're looking for a dependable and CHEAP gas station that is never closed in the middle of the day go to the ARCO on BALBOA & PARTHENIA next to BOFA ... skip this one !!! read more

This smog check place does a fine job. Sometimes they get busy, but I can ususally just drive over and get it done as a walk in. Price is slightly below average. As far as I remember they did not charge extra for pickups vs cars. read more

Great smog shop in Northridge! Robert was incredibly friendly and lovely to deal with...was in & out in less than 15 minutes! Parking lot is a tight squeeze since it shares the space with the Arco gas station at the busy corner of Devonshire & Reseda (which gets lines of cars waiting for the pumps) but he was nice enough to help me back out & I was on my way. It's a pretty average gas station. I haven't encountered many issues with this station. The prices are usually fairly lower compared to other Arcos in the area. May not be the cheapest at times but certainly a more fair deal. read more

I have had my Jeep smog done here one time but I would do it again without hesitation. Everyone was very professional and friendly.
