Unbelievably hot in the venue for July 2019 wedding and the employees did nothing to rectify the a/c issues. They should have at least set fans up but instead did nothing but tell us the a/c was "working at full capacity." If that was the case then ITC needs their a/c serviced or replaced. It was 76 and 78° inside- those are NOT the temperatures of a/c units working correctly. Inquiries were met with indifference and pushback from wedding planner's assistant. Finally the wedding guests discovered at least two thermostats set at FAN instead of auto. One was in the bridal suite where bridesmaids got ready. They were HOT all day in that room. No employee ever checked the thermostats when complaints started??? Pretty place, good food but bad attitude from employees when guests, as well as wait staff, were burning up all night. read more

OK, I first moved to Franklin Lakes in 1995 and since I passed this venue many times I though it would be a fun place to join. So I stopped in and was told it was by recommendation only. OK, so the rep told me that MAYBE he could find someone to refer me. Lucky me. So he gave me the welcome pack, AND THEN REALITY HIT. The first time membership dues were in the thousands, and the yearly dues were also outrageous. Now before you tell me if I cant afford it go elsewhere, YOU ARE RIGHT. MANY memberships are paid by corporations to executives for a bonus. I get it. But it would have cost me about 15K if I remember correctly. So tail between my legs I whimpered back and decided to use it for the down on a newer car instead, and go to Brick House, (THEN a great restaurant) not anymore), Aldos, Portobello and other not bad eateries. So that is my story. I do have disposable cash but I prefer to spend it on things I actually want/need. read more

We had our wedding at the Indian Trail Club in September 2021 and we could not have been happier with the venue. Debbie and Dana and the entire staff were so helpful and accommodating during the entire wedding planning process, and they remained very flexible for us during the uncertainties of COVID. The entire team at Indian Trail Club is so pleasant to work with, friendly, and responsive. From the outdoor ceremony on the Lake to the beautiful reception room, the venue was picture-perfect beautiful on our wedding day. The food was amazing, too. We had several wedding guests rave to us about the food and say how it was the best wedding food they have ever had. The Indian Trail Club is already a special place for me to begin with, having grown up just down the street and worked there in my high school and college days. Having spent several holidays there, I knew how beautiful the newly renovated portion was, but I was completely unprepared by how amazing it looks when set up for a wedding. We got so many compliments on the space - from the bar, to the fireplaces (perfect for a rainy day, which we had!), to the lake, to the bridal suite - we were so thrilled with how everything turned out on our wedding day. More importantly, the staff led by Debbie was amazing! Everyone was so nice, helpful, and positive the entire day. Please don't go here if your a bride looking for a venue. Both women are so unhelpful and soo over priced I get it your in Franklin lakes but if you have members you can relax with your pricing. It cost as much for me a my fiancé to go to windows on the water which is right on the beach. Not only did they keep trying to get me to change the date of my wedding, there was no compromise. Held my wedding reception at this place & I can't say enough about the wonderful personalized service that we received. This is a private club with 2 rooms that you can have your event at. It is located beside a lake with one of the rooms overlooking it. That room in warm weather opens up as a covered patio. Since my wedding was in April, it had clear covered sides & was heated. We had our ceremony in one section of it & the cocktail hour in the other. The reception was in the interior room. All of my guests raved about the location & the abundance of the food. It was also very good! We had fresh shrimp, raw oysters, 8 different passed hor d'oervers, cheeses, etc. Debbie, the planner at the place was fabulous - very organized & ensured that our vision came across at our wedding. I even had my own personal waitress making sure my drink was filled & that I got the food I wanted. Towards the end of the evening the chef came out to check to see if we were satisfied with the food. This place did a phenomenal job! read more

Went there for a wedding recently and the space was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for small intimate weddings. I especially loved the little outdoor fire that they have. A great place to take a break from the dancing. The indoor area was also very nice with a decent sized dance floor and lovely table settings. My favorite feature was the wedding ceremony overlooking the lake. It was just an amazing backdrop. read more

We had our wedding at Indian Trail Club! How do you describe a dream come true?! Before my husband and I started wedding planning, we made a "Wedding Vision List." We might as well have been crafting the description of Indian Trail Club! We wanted a "Scandinavian-rustic-chic wedding that made you feel like you were getting a hug that made you want to party." A bit unique, sure, but Indian Trail Club delivered on ALL of this! During our initial visit, we were greeted by Dana who would quickly become our coordinator/guide/confidant/friend. Dana is a true angel woman deserving of her own review page filled with millions of 5+ star reviews! She is knowledgeable, honest, kind, empathetic, creative, bubbly, warm, responsive, and endlessly patient; Dana is the person you want to accompany you on your wedding journey. Every subsequent visit to ITC - visiting the venue, signing, food tasting, etc - made us more and more excited and grateful that we were getting married there. The wait staff at the food tasting were the cheerleaders of the food - they got us jazzed to eat and jazzed to have them onboard for our wedding. And the food....THE FOOD! My husband and I committed to eating on our wedding day - there would be no stopping us, and let me tell you, there wasn't and with very good reason. The food is plentiful and PHENOMENAL. Every. Single. Bite. Our wedding attendant, Beth - another bubbly and positive angel woman goddess! - and Dana made sure that we took time alone with each other, drinks, and food. Furthermore, if people are judgy and sassy about one thing at a wedding it is the food. This is not the case at all with Indian Trail Club. The night of our wedding, the day after our wedding, months after our wedding: we are still hearing about the food! I DREAM about the grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soups. Working with Dana, Debbie, and the entire Indian Trail family was easy, flexible, and fun. Wedding planning is stressful, but calm exists with Indian Trail Club. Indian Trail Club is a must for the bride that wants a simple, modern, and gorgeous lakeside venue. We cannot thank Deb and all of the staff enough for their incredible service. From the decor, to the insanely delicious food, to the service the night of, everything was simply immaculate. My family is very tough to please and my parents were just floored with how amazing the night was. The staff worked so well with all of the vendors to make sure that every detail of my decor was executed perfectly. Deb arranged to make sure my cultural ceremony took place and they even helped my mom decorate the oil lamp that we lit. The food, omgggg the food. My fiance and I are major foodies and so that was the key for us the night of our wedding. We refused to hide in a room or take photos during cocktail hour solely because we did not want to miss a minute of the deliciousness. The cocktail hour, the dinner, and the dessert room were all just absolutely amazing. Every dish is executed perfectly, from the sauces to the seasonings, even the plating was beautiful. We did the stuffed chicken and stuffed fish for our entree choices and people LOVED the fish! The bartenders...oh the bartenders.. Man do they know how to pour good drinks!! We LOVED THEM :) Our favorite part of the night was how the staff would meticulously check on us to make sure we did not need anything. They were also very helpful and made sure every event of the night flowed appropriately. They even packed us up all the leftover desserts from our dessert room :) Last but not least, the grounds themselves are just to die for. We had a gorgeous sunny evening, and everyone was outside enjoying the lake views, the fire pits, and the grassy area. Our guests loved that the wall windows slid open so people could flow freely throughout the night. Everything was BEYOND PHENOMENAL. The fact that Deb put up with my detail oriented and OCD-like tendencies deserves a reward in it of itself :) Love ITC!! read more

Was really impressed with the information on The Knot about ITC and was seriously considering having my wedding there. I live in the city but grew up in Wyckoff so it's really a perfect location. I was set to find a date that works but when I called to schedule a tour, Debbie was not helpful at all - just said "No we don't have date" instead of "No, but how about this date". It was an immediate turn off. The ITC grounds are beautiful and most weddings there are stunning but would rather not have to deal with a difficult wedding coordinator for 12 months of planning. read more
