Based on my experience, I found the company's pricing to be excessive and their service lacking transparency. During their visit, I was informed that a $5 plastic basket needed replacement which they charge $35; however, no mention was made of a leak in my pool heating system. When I later asked the technician to inspect the heating system issue, I was quoted $195 for a service call, despite the fact that he had been at my home just the day prior. Due to these concerns, I have decided to terminate their services and file a complaint with the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Then after Ryan finally was clear about that concern, he decided one morning to clean my filter without notice so he proceeded to ring my doorbell, bang on my door and ring the doorbell again to wake me up and "get permission" after waking me up. *Once cleaned my filter and charged full price after I replied to the notification email declining the service. Then left a mess of grey matter in our yard that took me days to clean up.

I have worked with Wade Syverson for over fifteen years in maintaining my pools. I absolutely…read moretrusted him implicitly with remodeling my pool decking. However, when he subcontracted out to his mason, Steve Saunders, the job just was awful. The whole process was awful and I blame Mr. Saunders for his horrific and sexist attitude and I blame Wade for his gross negligence and complete abdication of his obligation. I thought I was hiring Wade and not Steve Saunders. The cuts were crooked, the coping on the tile was uneven, the actual design was crooked, there are gaps in between some tiles, the grouting was sloppy. Mr. Saunders was rude and dismissive of me the entire time. The project was estimated to last two weeks. It took me almost two months just to get a picture of the tile that I wanted to put in. It took approximately four times as long as it should do to Wade's lackadaisical attitude and Mr. Saunders' crew, who would show up for a moment and then leave. It was not until I had to have a confrontation with Mr. Saunders that he finally got the work done. However, the last laugh is on me, as Mr. Saunders and his crew made sure to do as shoddy a job as possible. Once the project was done, it turns out they did not seal or grout the pavers correctly. The sand is coming out of crevices, a drain was not built into the decking for excess water, and the deck is uneven. Additionally, because they did not seal the pavers at all, the pollen from my tree stained the deck. I was forced to call the Registrar of Contractors ("ROC"). Throughout the entire process, Wade, did very little to assist in the process or even oversee it. He has acknowledged several times that he would fix the issue but for the last two months, he has done nothing. The ROC issued a decision, largely in my favor, but alas, there has been no initiative taken by Wade to remediate the situation. I trusted Wade because we had a long-standing relationship. It is so much of a betrayal when you trust the person. He took over $26,000.00 from me and has not given me a dime back for the awful work of his subcontractor, Steve Saunders. Keep in mind that Wade he has acknowledged multiple times that they would fix the work and that it was messed up. I trusted Wade and, not only did he breach that trust, but he has done absolutely nothing to fix the issue. Do not use his service. If he can do it to me, he can do it to anyone.
