I've been using Arden for almost 2 years, and they just keep "wow-ing" me. When I walk in, they remember my face and name and grab my prescriptions without asking me. They always ask how my Mom and Daughter are in Texas. Once, I was going out of town for 2 months. They got me enough prescriptions for that time. TLDR: Judgmental pharmacists who lack compassion Not up-to-date with their systems Passive aggressive manager They show up in the GoodRx system as a pharmacy that works with GoodRx. Went to pick up my prescription and had a very awkward and tense interaction with the pharmacists who felt judgmental that I was using GoodRx and not the traditional insurance route. They told me I should go to CVS instead or pay the full cost in cash. Hard to do that when I see my prescription filled, and I'm in pain and don't want to wait hours to get the prescription transferred and filled. I was excited to try out a locally-owned pharmacy for the first time, but this was a massive disappointment. I didn't mind having to pay, so much as the feeling of embarrassment and lack of willingness to problem-solve. I called GoodRx and they confirmed that they have a contract with this pharmacy. GoodRx later called me back and told me they had a very argumentative encounter with the manager who said he was the "CEO"(?) and that this pharmacy wanted to be removed from GoodRx. If that's the case, this pharmacy needs to do their due diligence to make sure they actually cancel their agreements, so others dont make the same mistake. read more

I used to go to the big ones like Target and CVS and there is no way you could compare the service that I receive with this small Pharmacy. They're quick, efficient and do home delivery, if you like. Have to review them yet again for their excellent service! I was released from hospital today Friday who escripted a new RX to CVS Montrose that needed to be started tonight. Got there, waited in two lines and was told they didn't have it but could order and it'd be there by Monday which was too late. Called Arden Medical Pharmacy and asked if they had the med which of course they did. Provided them CVS phone number so the RX could be transferred to them. Drove to Arden, they called CVS and the RX was ready within about 10-15 min. And as it was a new RX, Arden used the manufacturer's code so the first month of my RX was free!! I don't write many reviews, and a pharmacy doesn't seem like something people normally write reveiws for, but I had to for the great people at Arden. They are so friendly and helpful and always so cheerful when I come in. And all of the people that work there, not just one or two. I am a regular here because my doctor is in the same building, but they treat everyone so nicely and are super patient with the older clients I see coming in as well. I am so used to the crabby RiteAid people it's like a breath of fresh air. But the thing that prompted me to write this was the fact they actually went online and found a coupon for a medication that would have cost me $70! In this day and age, that is unheard of. They could have made the profit...I would go out of my way to come to this pharmacy if I ever move. Highly, highly recommended!!! read more

I never knew how important it was to have a good pharmacy around until I actually needed one. This pharmacy has the best customer service of any that I have had to go to since my recent injury. Very nice people and you never have to wait very long even when you just walk in. I have had to go to multiple pharmacies until I came here and I am very grateful for the time and care they put into each of their customers. They are willing to go the extra mile for you and it makes a big difference. I think this is what business used to be like before the mega chains pushed so many of them out of business. I can actually associate names and faces to this place Hopefully I will not have to go here much longer but in the meanwhile I will use them exclusively for my pharmaceutical needs. I have been using Arden Pharmacy since about 2005 when I got very sick and was on a monthly prescription regimen. I say this from the bottom of my heart when I tell you all how grateful I am for the wonderful husband and wife team that owns and runs the store- and their wonderfully trained staff!!! They may not know it- but they are like family or old high school friends to me with how well I get treated by them. I first lived in Glendale in 2005 to be close to the main hospital out there, so I stumbled upon Arden Pharmacy because it was down the street from me- as I was very frustrated waiting up to 20-30 minutes at places like Rite Aid or CVS for my prescriptions. I say this with all sincerity that I have NEVER had a bad experience with them- they have never had an off day as far as their high quality of customer service and friendliness. Well in 20008 I moved to Van Nuys (which is a bit out of the way from Arden Pharmacy) but they were able to deliver to my house all of my meds for free- so I was elated. In 2009 I moved to Las Vegas- but they were able to mail me my medications. I could not imagine switching pharmacies even in Las Vegas!!! It is about the TRUST and LOYALTY I have built in this wonderful relationship with the wonderful family owned business that they are. I have had some lovely conversations with both the husband and wife at times- they are very accessible even though they are quite busy and have a nice sized staff to assist them. Now I am back in Van Nuys and they are delivering my medications as usual. I just wanted to acknowledge them for their great work!!! It truly does not get any better than this!!!
