Unfriendly pharmacy staff. Don't recommend. They have good rx availability, but horrible attitudes.

If I can give them zero stars, I would. They always mess up the prescription order refill. This is not the first time that they made a mistake on my prescription. Not to mention the violation of PII asking about a person's PII information, right in an open area. read more

You have to walk the pharmacy through the process to fulfill prescriptions. They don't listen, ignore you, and seem like they are hesitant to fill any type of prescription, even antibiotics when you mention its for a sick child. Least helpful Walgreens pharmacy I've used. read more

Apparently you can prescribe your own meds at this Walgreens. I went to pick up a course of steroids and antibiotics to be taken on different schedules-phoned in by the doctor. When I arrived they had a Single combination medication which I knew to be incorrect. I was asked if I knew the names of the individual medications. I didn't know I needed to know the specific names of the meds. I wonder what else I could've "thrown" in the order? read more

This pharmacy will always find a way to mess up your prescription. For me, the final straw was when they sent me a text and left me a voicemail about my prescription and then somehow lost the prescription. Just erased it from the system, no record of ever having had it. So now my doctor's office is closed and I need them to resend the prescription. Visited 12/10/2016 Came here as a favor to someone. She wanted me to pick up her prescription for her. There were two windows to get assistance from which is really nice compared to the usual one window like at Rite Aid. Sitting area looked comfortable enough. The pharmacy tech was helpful and courteous. He explained things well . My only beef is that if the MD doesn't return your message in order to get a prescription refilled, PLEASE call the MD office back! Don't wait for over a week or for me to ask you to call them back! The store itself is just like Rite Aid. Large and free private parking lot is always a plus. read more

This is a review for their women's bathroom, specifically. Frankly, I'm tired of disgusting dirty bathrooms at most gas stations and drugstores. Walgreens I would hold at a different standard but still cannot apparently. I was tempted to bypass a review until I was about to exit the women's restroom and saw their cleaning schedule. They actually "look" almost everyday (see photo) but I don't think it means they clean at all - they're just checking and writing if it's dirty or needs something. At least I wasn't left high and dry and had toilet paper to use, but the toilet and sinks were filthy. And. I'm not talking about a one day mishap of piss poor bathroom visitors, but actual dust and mildew collected in the toilets and sinks. People that work here are handling products and who knows what using this bathroom presents by way of pests and germs. Get your act together, Walgreens. read more

Damn who is this pharmacist or pharm tech they just hired here? Short Asian chick speaking 100 words per minute. Seems she did not learn punctuation in grammar school. Take a breath lady.. and her bedside manner is appalling. Thank goodness she doesn't perform direct patient care. She cuts me off while I speak and blames me for my pills not being on auto refill. If she's in such a hurry to get her words in and hand me my pills with zero explanation, I can't imagine how quickly she dispenses the pills. After getting vaxxed here they gave me a $5 coupon for my next visit. On my next visit I tried to use it but was told it wasn't good until my NEXT visit. Apparently I had to buy something to then load it to my account or something? Who knows. NOTHING on the coupon indicated this. And even the manager told me everyone is confused about it. You think? Because it's a misleading bait and switch. And I wasted 20 min in line. Will NEVER return to this Walgreens. CVS is right up the street. read more

I went to Walgreens to get my booster shot. This guy from pharmacy seems to be rude. He didn't take my information as is and almost was to bill my outdated insurance. The manger next to him corrected him and I was able to get my shot after all. The pharmacist who administered my booster shot was very nice and professional. I went to Walgreens yesterday and I needed help with the photo department. There was a lot of things that I needed to do in the photo department and I was not sure how to do it. I waited for a couple of minutes and then this nice lady with black hair I think her name was Lenet came and helped me. She took her time and explained everything to me and after about few minutes we finished everything. I came in a couple times for confusion over my prescription, Melody was very helpful. Most pharmacists don't have the time of day to really explain for you. She was so kind and takes the time to go over every question you have. I really wish she worked for the hospital I go too. This review is strictly for the Pharmacy. My dad has been trying different oral pills prescribed by our doctor because of a skin condition that needs to be urgently treated. We had a HORRIBLE experience at the CVS in Tujunga, so we asked my dad's dermatologist to move his prescription location to this Walgreens instead. Previously at the CVS, where we visited at least 5 times, we NEVER had a conversation with any of the actual pharmacists and were only helped by the staff wearing the blue scrubs. However, I was assisted by a super helpful and sincere pharmacist, named Jessie, on our FIRST visit to Walgreens. This was almost immediately after our visit to the dermatologist for a new type of oral pill, so Jessie said my dad's prescription wasn't ready yet; however, she said Walgreens would text or call me when it is ready. Jessie later gave me a call, and said that our insurance actually won't cover this new oral pill and that it'll be +$800 to pay out of our pocket. However, she was so helpful as she told me that she'll contact a third party AND my dad's insurance company to see if there's a way for this to be covered. Eventually, with Jessie's efforts, we were able to be contacted by a special pharmacy and our insurance was able to cover this new medicine for my father. I'm just SO grateful and thankful for the pharmacist, Jessie, and her efforts in trying to help my dad's situation out. On a sidenote, when we went to go pick up the new prescription from Walgreens after it was ready, this time there was a staff (not pharmacist) by the window. After we paid the copay fee, she said that their pharmacist would like to speak to me about the prescription (what?! wow!). This time it was a different pharmacist, but she was also very helpful as she explained in detail how this medicine was supposed to be taken and gave us info on possible side effects & precautions. At the CVS, none of the staff EVER bothered to explain ANY prescribed medicine to us, nor did we even ever get to speak with an actual pharmacist!! Thank you Walgreens Pharmacy & its staff, and especially Jessie, for making this difficult process so much easier!! We are so grateful and will continue to use this pharmacy. I see some Yelp complaints about the wait time, but honestly, customer service is too good that it triumphs a 20-30 minute wait time. TL;DR: -Great customer service & staff -High quality & detailed assistance -Jessie, one of the pharmacists, was especially helpful and very reliable. read more

Slooooooooow! The pharmacy here is incredibly slow and almost twice the price of others! Started going to CVS in Montrose and the cost of my dogs insulin is half the price it is at Walgreens! Thank god they temporarily closed otherwise I wouldn't of ever discovered this. read more

DO NOT USE AS FED EX HOLD LOCATION!!!! I had a package that was held by fed ex since I wasn't home This is the official fed ex hold location. Package was signed for by "EPANTAAG" I took my proof of package to pick it up. They couldn't locate it. I asked for manager which was Glendi and they couldn't find that package They kept saying "we returned to fed ex" I said show me proof of return They couldn't provide proof of return. THey said fed ex driver never scanned package. Essentially calling the fed ex driver a thief They were unhelpful. The employees were horrible. Went to La Crescenta Walgreens to purchase over the counter cold meds for my daughter. I am appalled at the condition of this store. There was absolutely NO ibuprofen - the entire shelf was completely empty - same for nasal spray...NOTHING! This is a pharmacy, why are shelves empty?? I asked a clerk why the shelves were empty and was told that they are short staffed! WHAT? Hire enough staff! Walgreens needs to fire whomever is managing this store. Pharmacist only: I took my daughter there to get a vaccine for school. We had an appointment. We were on time for said appointment. 45 minutes later we're finally called (I inquired earlier, but they kept saying "yeah we know") Once the pharmacist, Yara, finally called us back, she administered the vaccine. Then told us the vaccine had expired...she had checked the expiration date AFTER giving the shot. So back in again we went for vaccine # 2. No apology. Yara couldn't seem to figure out how to put the needle in the syringe so she had to trash the first one. Once she finally figured this out, she administered vaccine #2 (we were now an hour after our appointment time!). So many things wrong from beginning to end. They couldn't figure out where the vaccine was (in the fridge) and then tried to sell it to me to bring home??? Then said the doctor had ordered it (she didn't). The worst: Yara the pharmacist. After stabbing my daughter twice because she seemed inept from the get go, she didn't even really register that a mistake, solely on her part, was even made. I've been to this particular store 3 times and Ashley was my cashier during those visits. Talk about rude customer service, she never smiles and does not make eye contact and also no thank yous at the end of transactions. She always has the look that she is forced to work there against her will. I just can't figure out why management doesn't notice this poor behavior. I supervise 9 restaurants and if any of my employees ever gave this kind of poor service to our guests they would be terminated on the spot. My family and I walked in to do some shopping tonight. We had no idea who the employees were at first..But as we were shopping, we could definitely hear them, as they were arguing about another employee who had called out for the day. Three young employees started screaming about who was in the right, and one male employee was full on yelling even louder that he had to call HR because the girl who called out did not give him 24 hours even though it was the day before. If that wasn't worse, they still continued their argument even though that male employee went to the back room. That female and male employee looked like they were about to help customers check out, but then they were still arguing. Then an older employee came to help check out, but the person in front of us had a return, and so she had to go to the back room for something. We didn't know that the two employees who are still arguing at this point, were actually working the back register. We had been in line for a long time behind the person who was making the return, and then another customer wanted to check out. He asked if there was another line and then finally the female employee that was arguing stepped away, and then the other male employee who was arguing away stopped, and waved his hand, saying he was open. So the customer walked over to him. I was so infuriated. I left my things in the cart and walked out. This Walgreens really needs to get it together. Because three workers who are just shouting for 15 minutes? Not only that they looked extremely disheveled. One had muddy shoes, and another very grungy and dirty pants. read more

This used to be my go to store for pharmacy, photo and misc items. Over the last year the service here has become TERRIBLE. Don't bother ordering pictures or picture products because they will likely not be done in time... or ever for that matter. Twice now they have cancelled my order because they "ran out" of photo paper and supplies to make a calendar- seriously?! Also don't go here anytime between 1130-1230 because it is over run with high school kids- which the staff allow to purchase items other than photos at the photo check out and cut in front of other customers. The staff here is rude, inexperienced and had no business being in customer service. My prediction is this location will be out of business soon- and for good reason.
