It has now been over 90 minutes with poor communication and very little urgency from the staff. Customer service was frustrating, and no one seemed to care that people waiting for medications may actually be sick and uncomfortable. If you are really ill, this pharmacy will make the experience even worse. Honestly, I would recommend going to Walgreens or using Amazon Pharmacy instead if you want reliable service and less stress.

We used Walgreens for years and it was always an absolute nightmare. After switching to Royal, it was a night and day difference. They are so on top of your medications and refills, always calling before I'm out of something to check if I want it filled. Anytime I call someone immediately answers the phone and is beyond happy to help with any questions. They truly go above and beyond. They also deliver and will make sure you get what you need. Today I had an antibiotic called in late in the day from my PCP and they did the unimaginable - had it delivered to my house later in the evening so I could start right away. I will never switch pharmacies because they are truly the best of the best. 10/10 for service and care.

We did some small shopping and when we went to pay there weren't any checkers at any registers. After hunting someone down we paid and returned to the pharmacy. After waiting another 10 minutes they told us they had to call the doctor and it would be at least another hour. When asked why they didn't call the doctor hours before they didn't have an answer. Probably the worst pharmacy if you're in a crisis...thankfully I'm not BUT if need any urgent meds…read moreyou have ONE DAY a week (before 3pm) to pick up meds or get your order filled... 1) This is a pharmacy in service only -but name I doubt...it is open conveniently ONE DAY a week... 2) They don't stock up on meds and will push you to another pharmacy who conveniently DOES NOT take hospital insurance so you'll get stuck in a loop that causes you to not to have your medication for an additional week...because you have to wait to get your order transferred BACK to the guy who just transferred you OUT...but ya missed him because his ass left early... 3) They advertise they are open Tuesday AND THURSDAY, but once you show up on a Thursday for a refill (because they never pick up the phone with any consistency on their "open days") - the office was locked with the lights off. The funny ass thing is there is a sign that states "Open Tuesdays and Thursdays" and "if you need service call the office number"...bro - review 1) and 2)... USC Verdugo Pharmacy is a shitshow...and they couldn't even prescribe themselves the right meds to fix their own problem...cause the pick up window is Tuesdays only before 3pm...
