Probably the worst pharmacy if you're in a crisis...thankfully I'm not BUT if need any urgent meds you have ONE DAY a week (before 3pm) to pick up meds or get your order filled... 1) This is a pharmacy in service only -but name I doubt...it is open conveniently ONE DAY a week... 2) They don't stock up on meds and will push you to another pharmacy who conveniently DOES NOT take hospital insurance so you'll get stuck in a loop that causes you to not to have your medication for an additional week...because you have to wait to get your order transferred BACK to the guy who just transferred you OUT...but ya missed him because his ass left early... 3) They advertise they are open Tuesday AND THURSDAY, but once you show up on a Thursday for a refill (because they never pick up the phone with any consistency on their "open days") - the office was locked with the lights off. The funny ass thing is there is a sign that states "Open Tuesdays and Thursdays" and "if you need service call the office number"...bro - review 1) and 2)... USC Verdugo Pharmacy is a shitshow...and they couldn't even prescribe themselves the right meds to fix their own problem...cause the pick up window is Tuesdays only before 3pm... This place, like us all, is dying slow with or without meds. read more

After going back because my brotherinlaw needed something picked up, Gabriel simply smiled at me and said Good morning how can I help you. Service with a smile, that's what people want.He helped me with what I needed and then said, Is there anything else I can help you with ? I said no but Thank-you for asking. When I call this pharmacy they are so friendly! There is one employee who always remembers me and is so friendly. The customer service is exemplary of all the employees so far. During Covid you can not go inside but they will bring to your car or bring to you at the door. I can not comment on the price as that will depend on your insurance. They work hard to get your prescription timely and communicate if there is a delay. The parking is plentiful and free. This is located in the building below the USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. I use them now for all my prescriptions. read more

I cant believe that they have such goods reviews when my experience was terrible. I got there early, before my scheduled appointment at 4, I saw one person coming in late and another two walking in for Vaccination as I was, and everyone was helped but me? I started to get frustrated and complained to the pharmacists. Her answer was that "at some point, they(patients) get mixed up." Are you telling me that it is the same case with our medication? At some point all the medication you fill for us gets mixed up? That is something scary to point out, in my opinion. I appreciate the nice lady who helped me get signed in, she tried to calm me down because she knew the pharmacist had messed up. Just stayed quiet after that since they were goint to pinch me, and I didn't want them to do something wrong on my arm. I expected a higher quality experience, but unfortunately that was not the case. read more

Totally unexpected for me to a write a review on a pharmacy honestly, but I just had to jump on and share my experience. I was sent downstairs to check on availability for my grandmother who was with her physician upstairs. The moment I walked in I felt a positive energy from the staff versus the usual (I hate my life vibe I'm accustomed to at other pharmacies). They tended to my questions about this gnarly blood pressure medicine I was inquiring about, explained the consumption protocol to me and my grandma upon pick up and really made the icky part of getting drugs for sickness feel so relieving and temporary. My grandma and I both left feeling good about the future. The ladies their may not realize the effect they have on people but they really do deserve the kudos for being so great to my grandma and I. First of all I want to say this great pharmacy located at 1808 building which is the first building under the hospital. Let me start by saying that the staff is exceptional and super knowledgeable and helpful. Gabe and Kristine always go above and beyond to meet their patients needs. The pharmacist in charge Elizabeth is super nice and knowledgeable. She always makes sure I receive my medication on time and go over how to take it and what to expect from my treatment. Came in here for a flu shot. The process is so organized and easy and the pharmacy was super neat. Gabe in the front was super nice and he welcomed me and helped me scan the form for my shot. Johnny was the person administering the shot and he did a great job administering it and going over all the expected side effects. Overall a great experience. It is one thing to have knowledge and skills and theory, it is another thing to really care and serve genuinely. Best pharmacy that I have ever been to, without a doubt. They care, they actually care! When I recently found out that my doctor of over 15 years who had gone "concierge" doctor was no longer my doctor (my annual physical had not come up yet) and refused to refill my prescriptions I was left pill less, so to speak. I went to the pharmacy to see if I could get my bottles back so I could show my next doctor. Liz, the pharmacist, and always so nice, would not let me go without a few days prescription until I could get a new doctor. Kristine and Gabe are always so friendly and accommodating. I want to express my deep gratitude for Elizabeth and Kristine. It was near closing time when we realized my father-in-law's doctor wrote a prescription for another pharmacy that was now closed. It was urgent that the prescription was filled because it was in preparation for his surgery. Dear Elizabeth sprung into action and called doctor-to-doctor after hours and reached the surgeon. She was able to get verbal authorization to fill the handwritten prescription. She then very patiently wrote out the instructions for the prep knowing that we were emotionally overwhelmed. If you need a prescription or expert advice, this is the place to go (although they have a pretty good assortment of non-prescription items too) Elizabeth is an excellent pharmacist and she is supported by a wonderful, caring and professional staff that will go out of their way for you. Parking is very convenient and they welcome ongoing relationships with patients that have chronic needs. I've been coming to this pharmacy now for little over a year. At first it was only because it was the pharmacy inside the hospital which made it very easy. However, very shortly after just a couple of pick ups, I realized the staff treat their patients like family unlike most other pharmacies. Elizabeth runs a tight ship but when dealing with medicine, you couldn't ask for someone better who I can always trust with looking out for my health. They're so good at having the medications ready even for their size and definitely put their customers safety first at explaining very thoroughly the prescription their handing out.
