My Mom was admitted at Ardent Care on July 14, 2022. And I must say, this has been one of the best decisions that we've made for her and our family. There were several that were listed at "A Place for Mom". I toured several facilities in Orange County to find the best place for my Mom. Some of them were old, dark and then there were some that were on the higher-end that offered some really nice amenities and beautiful property but just way out of our budget. While doing my facility tours, I met a lovely young woman at a higher-end property who helped me a great ton in understanding & navigating this new life with dementia that my Mom, myself and the rest of my family now have to deal with. This woman was the one who ended up giving me 4 options and Ardent Care was the best one of the 4 (based on the condition and cleanliness of the property). Ardent was not far from the first property we toured. I walked in and asked a staff member if it was possible to do a tour of Ardent Care with my brother and my Mom. The wonderful staff member Alex was the one who accommodated our request. Alex was full of positive energy from the very start. I can tell she had passion for her job and compassion for their residents. Keep in mind our tour was unannounced to the Ardent staff (which meant they didn't have a chance to make sure the property looked pristine before showing us around). As we walked in, the lobby was nice and clean all through out when we were taken to the hallways and in each room and common areas (activities, dining, available room for a new resident). The condition of the property, the energy of the staff and the residents that we got to see/meet briefly made us think and feel that - THIS could be the one that is perfect for Mom. The previous tours we've done - I can tell from my Mom's body language that she did not want to live there. However, at Ardent Care - when she was introduced to the residents while we were touring the place, Mom played piano and said hello to the group so we took that as a great sign. It is now middle of October and almost 3 months since my Mom moved in. She has gained weight, has made friends and overall she looks good and younger compared to 6 months ago when she was staying at a SNF. To be fair, the staff at the SNF were really good to her, but the overall environment here and the activities at Ardent was what my Mom needed. The med tech staff are all experienced and they have been working here for a few years. My bro and I take turns in visiting a few times per week. There were a couple of times I've heard conversations between a visiting nurse with a med tech and they know the resident's history well and I can tell they really care. Great job to the whole staff who care for the residents - Alex, Fabiola, Jocelyn, Mabel, Brandy, Renee & Debbie. Thank you for all that you do for my Mom and the residents who depend on you!!! Visited Dec 2025. Once inside was impressed with overall plans of care. Small population, clean shared rooms (a few singles), floors of large shiny tiles were easy to navigate. Dining/kitchen clean at 3:00pm, Most residents were in Activities & Living area, a few were in their rooms. Center courtyard inviting. I liked the idea that the staff/caregivers are not overnight sleepers but are on defined shifts and awake. Call-button cord by each bed -- i didn't ask if individual had a personal med-alert device. Guest parking and access to parking lot not easy. Loved one not ready for a smaller community, but am keeping it in mind. MJ read more

My mother has been living at Ardent Care since 2017. Melinda and all the staff wonderful. They communicate with me any concerns. During the pandemic, Ardent care took great measures to avoid residents contracting Covid. As a care provider for my parent, I highly recommend Ardent care if you have to make a decision on assisted living care. read more

I would love to give this place a 5 star review but I feel Like you got to know some things about this facility before you send your loved ones here. I was hired the same day as my interview , I thought it was weird but I told self I was overthinking. Apparently I was wrong . Most of the the televisions don't work sum won't turn on or even connect to get a signal. Some rooms get very cold and very hot. A few are broken. If you work in this field you would know that that is a licensing problem right there. A few days into my new journey I found out 10 people quit meaning that the place is understaffed at the moment. It takes longer to get fed and get a new diaper or set a clothes. They don't have enough caregivers to match the need of service to the building. I finally quit today after getting harassed by administration I decided I am better off at another company that would value my time. The administration even admits that's she's stressed out and had no staff. The training part was worse to my first so called days of training were watching , I did not agree and told that I had a learning disability and Melinda said don't blame my disabilities. Staff Puts you down and sum don't even care. They don't even update there medical records too ! Never work here read more

Dont work here this place needs to be investigate horrible conditions. I worked here for a couple of months and witnessed the care they received only one or two people really care the rest are only there for the check. I worked in the kitchen but i saw how the residents were cared for so i quit, i remember once James one of the residents fell and they didnt even take it serious wow i hope all of them are doing okay....... read more

I don't recommend working here or living here. The State needs to have a closer look at this place and get rid of Melinda and Andrea ASAP. Clients are only changed once or twice a day ( if lucky ). Never saw clients get a bath, and when it comes to meds, the med tech is suppose to be there by 6:30AM & didn't show up til after 9 AM and went somewhere to take a cigarette break for over an hour so the clients didn't get their medication til almost Noon. Let me remind you that when I was being trained by the med tech if I didn't pass my meds by 10 o'clock that I wasn't to give them their meds at all. Broke my heart to see all this and I didn't wanna be part of this awful team so I did the next best thing and quit. They never paid me for the time I put into here also. Unprofessional. A while ago, I had applied here, and was interviewed the following day. As I walked in, no one was there to greet me, everyone seemed out of it. Melinda, the director, then finally interviewed me in the middle of a crowd. In front of the residents, and other workers. Uncomfortable. She couldn't conduct a simple interview and came off rude. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE EVER ! I'm not even exaggerating, if you care for your loved ones check on them constantly ! This is worse than living on the streets and I'm not even being dramatic people that are still able to talk to you tell you "I can't wait to die" "This place is the worst, please get me out of here " I got hired without even getting cleared or even trained (I had experience) nonetheless being clueless to how they run the shenanigan is nothing but a heartbreaking experience, I was like a little ghost just lost the ladies ABUSE their elders , they treat them worse than animals! They leave them long periods of time in there own feces, constantly mix medication,can't follow a simple schedule , when feeding time comes they literally shove the food with so much force into the residents mouth they don't even wait for them to chew it , the water is literally straight from the sink and into the fridge with cheap Kool- Aid, the staff that speak Spanish specifically Fabiola make fun off all the residents that have disabilities, they mock them and even threaten them not the feed them since one of the females is on the heavier side all of them where horrible to her . I can keep going forever but to keep it short I made my report to corporate and is happy to know that not all caregiving places are as horrible as this place do your research and listen to the other reviews of workers and visitors this place is full of it , I can only hope ,at my old age not to land in such place . Many staff members play the role of being nice and helpful to them but the eye and heart can't always see what others true intentions are . read more

My parents were at Arden Care for a short four-day stay, it is a beautiful facility, airy, full of light, with friendly helpful staff. I know they must work at keeping it clean because it smelled good. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone, or take my parents there again read more

My dad has been happily living at Ardent Care for 8 months. I visit 3-4 times a week and stay for an hour or two. Excellent care, really great food. The owner Jenny has filled a need for placement of seniors that cannot take complete care of themselves. From living day to day, meals, dressing, constant activities for the residents to keep them happy and being treated with an abundance of expert care and respect, there is a close watch and security in having a place for someone you love. I highly recommend Ardent Care. read more

A great place for seniors. This assisted living facility accepts all seniors, active and older. They do not discriminate. All rooms are furnished. The building has many windows and every room has great natural light. Staff is caring and attentive. Three meals a day and yummy desserts. Very clean and free of any bad smells. If your looking, I recommend this facility. Wonderful! read more
