I have a family members in Bryn Mawr Extended Care. I treat him to dinner every Friday and on Sundays, I order a large pizza half plain and half pepperoni to share with him, his roommate, and myself while we watch Eagles football and or whatever other team is is playing. Today, I sent the pizza back because it was cold. When I called the delivery person to come back and take the pizza back, he was rude and said it wasn't his fault. He opened the box, looked at the pizza, breathed all over it, closed it, and repeated that it wasn't his fault. I've never had any problems with this place before. They have good food, and their delivery service is usually superb. When I called the restaurant to let them know I was sending the pizza back and why, I also asked to speak with a manager. I held on for 6 minutes just to be told that no one was available, but they would remake the pizza and send it right out. That was almost 90 minutes ago. This type of behavior sends the message that Ardmore Pizza does not stand by their food. That's a shame because I really liked their food and appreciated the great delivery service. I forgot to mention that I ALWAYS tipped very, very well. Shame on you, Ardmore Pizza for treating me this way. read more

I like the pizza here, they are my go-to delivery pizza. Decent crust, sauce isn't too sweet as I find at Dakota, and they are generous with cheese and toppings. They are sometimes inconsistant, I think it just comes down to who is on shift. Delivery is always fast and good, though, and they have the cane sugar coke in glass bottles. Yum! read more

The large pizza was a little on the smaller side but was delicious...also ordered 30 wings witch I think we're cooked perfect had plenty of meat on them and had plenty of sauce..they derived right to me in a parking lot while I was working on a Saturday in under a half hour..they were not cheap at all with all the extra sides like hot sauce , blue cheese, napkins, plates, and a whole thing of Celery..What blew my mind and will make me order any time I'm close just for this reason is they delivered tongs with so we didn't have to use our dirty construction hands to pull the wings out.. read more

Look it takes 3 categories to get 5 Stars 1. first and foremost the food has to be not just great, but great every time. Check! 2. Price - on par with the competition and even a little higher if its really good. Check! 3. Service - be happy to see me & take my Order; if anything goes wrong or it takes longer then normal - come to me with real empathy and offer apologies and to fix what ever is a-rye. Wow, although really rare - they are experts at caring about you and your meal. Check! The icing on top of all of this - The Owner is there a lot of the time, the employees have been there for years and years and are happily working where you can watch them = more proof of excellent management - very little turnover, happy workers. If an eatery has great food and great service but the price is way over the top no one goes frequently. If you have great prices and great service, but the food sucks - no one goes more then once. Finally if you have great food and great prices but the people there are rude, nasty with poor service never fixing mistakes without an argument - no one goes back. All 3 categories must always be excellent to get 5 Stars So the secret to Ardmore Pizza is they are exemplary in all 3 categories all the time - very rare indeed. Wish they had a sit-down restaurant - oops but then they would need exemplary waiter/waitress staff and a floor manager, dishwashers and so forth - Maybe not, its fine that Ardmore Pizza is known as The 5 Star Takeout Pizza (and more) eatery of the Main Line. I honestly come here because it's so easy to walk from my house. But honestly I like their food as long as you get the greatest things from them: cheesesteaks and pizza... I am pretty set out to try their chicken alfredo as I don't make any pasta dish at home, as a way to avoid overloading carbs. I can get out of hand. Crisp iceburg and romaine, delicious turkey, special request, American cheese, sweet peppers and light onions, (as requested) Best part? Local tomatoes! You could taste the difference. Everything is so fresh. Creamy french dressing (not the orange kind) and delivered five minutes earlier than expected. They are so, so great--try them if you have not! read more

I used to love this place. I've been ordering from them since 2018. Always directly through them too as for them not to have to give up any fees to doordash or other delivery services. The last few times I've ordered though my food arrives cold when I don't live far enough away for it to be cold. As previously stated I've been ordering from this place for 4 years and that's never been an issue, not even when things were very up in the air at the beginning of the pandemic. So cold, not lukewarm, food. They haven't been following prep or delivery instructions. The quality has gone down too but the service was always good and I'm a firm believer that a subpar pizza from the Philly area and surrounding suburbs beats the best pizza from just about any other place across the US. So I just don't understand what the hell happened. One or two screw-ups over the course of the years or even months is understandable maybe even call it a fluke but repeatedly back to back is just ridiculous and disheartening. I'd also like to note that all these issues have been during midweek orders too not during the crazy hype of a weekend. Unimpressive overly-Americanized greasy pizza that resembles national chain pizza such as Pizza Hut. The place's most redeeming quality other than late convenient hours is that it is better than Marrones up the street (a one star pizza). You're much better off going to Felicia's brick oven pizza a few doors down in the Party City parking Lot and paying the extra $2 for much better quality authentic pizza made by a real Italian. We ordered a delivery online through eat street, Ardmore Pizza confirmed the order online, we received the confirmation email, but the food did not come. We called and they lied about receiving the order, and did nothing to help other than sounding defensive. We just drove 7 hours from our wedding, and we are very disappointed at their service. Ardmore Pizza is my old faithful. I have been ordering out food from here since I was old enough to pick up a phone and make a call. I consistently order the buffalo wings and some variation of their French fries. (pizza style, curly with bacon and whiz, etc) and I am seldom disappointed. This place has a decent cheesesteak and burger to boot. The pizza is very good, the pepperoni is always crisped perfectly and the price is right. I have rarely strayed from my "go-to" items so I can't speak for the rest of the menu but over the last 15 years, I haven't had many complaints. read more

I lived in Philly for 52 years and moved to the Main Line in April 2007. Philly being a great place for pizza and steak shops, I've had the best and the worse over the years. I found Ardmore Pizza while searching for a local place that delivered. I can honestly say, that everything my daughter and I have ordered, is fresh, generous, tastes great, and is modestly priced. It's the average type of neighbor pizza place that has better than average neighborhood pizza. It's not great, like some of the upscale pizza places here in the city - but for the burbs, and 8 hungry guys during our weekly poker game night it does the job just fine. And it's not that greasy. I recalled writing a past review, but I'm glad I didn't read it before I decided to post an update - I'm sticking with the 3 stars and despite giving Ardmore Pizza the benefit of the doubt several times over the years, the service has yet to impress. The food is very good for a pizza place (one of few in the local area) with reasonable prices, but their service doesn't do them any favors - awkwardly pushy employees who aren't paying much attention to the order...clearly, see below. Missing side dishes or added toppings are forgivable, but now I'm starting to think they're out to get me based on a 3-star review. Every. single. time. I have visited, I've returned home giggling at how my orders are continuously messed up! I order pretty simple things, but wouldn't you expect to have marinara sauce with your mozzarella sticks? I really enjoy Ardmore Pizza's food but I would say that 90% of the time, something with our order is incorrect. The latest time we ordered, we got their Mac and cheese bites with ranch and honey BBQ but received mozzarella sticks with marinara. It says directly on the ticket that is taped to our bag what is supposed to be on there. I'm not normally one to write poor reviews on restaurants because I've worked in one, I know it can be difficult to get everything right but every single time is a bit much. We order all the time, normally once a week and normally the same thing so I wish that we could get our orders correct to keep us coming back in the future. read more

Ordered delivery through GrubHub. Came pretty quickly, nice delivery guy. Pizza was ok, we got smells which I would say feed one person, maybe two. Be aware that "roasted peppers" are green. I started ordering here from 2 different work locations using grubhub and I was so happy with my food that I have refused to try anyone else out. I am extremely picky about food and this place nails it every time. I get the Buffalo tenders with the honey BBQ sauce, which is so different than what I expected when it came, but definitely didn't disappoint. I don't know how they make this sauce but it's killer. Nice place to grab a pizza. Good customer service and delicious pizza. Great for take out but not for eating in.

Caveat: College student's prospective I was up late hanging out and watching some basketball with my friends when we all wanted to grab some food. Ardmore Pizza was open late, delivered, and had killer wraps. None of us ordered the pizza, but I think we were all very satisfied. I had the Buffalo Wrap and my two friends grabbed club sandwiches. My wrap came with a big wrap, a small bag of chips, and some coleslaw or something like that. I ate the wrap and the chips. Wrap was great. Absolutely flavorful and the chicken was not dry. When compounded with the fact that it was cheap, they are now my go to place for my late night hunger cravings. read more
