I booked my usual 30 minute blowout and the stylist took longer than my usual person, causing the next appointment to start late. Rather than being a bit more professional about it, they then blamed it on me for not booking a 60 minute blowout, trying to embarrass me in front of the other clients. I explained that I've booked the 30 minutes in the past, but she still spoke to me as if this was entirely my fault which is absurd. I never had an issue nor was told to book 60 minutes in the past. I am not one to ever write bad reviews but I'm so shocked with my treatment so here I am. Never going back.

This was by far the WORST experience with eyelashes I've ever had. It's been two weeks and all of my lashes have fallen out. However, I did notice they were uneven -- the right side had way more lashes than the left. I then noticed they continued to fall out all week. Also, the technician had her hands all over my face and nose the entire time. They were heavy on my forehead and thankfully I don't have sensitive skin but if I did I could've broken out. When working on my left eye, she kept pushing down on one of my nostrils, blocking it and I have a sensitive nose so that was frustrating!! I've never experienced this before and it was so uncomfortable and felt like this was very new to her. I've been getting my lashes done frequently for the past 3 years. I take care of my lashes and brush them so they last long. I always go to Lash Loft in the city because it was near my office but wanted to try somewhere closer to home since my office moved locations. I've paid the same price for lashes that look even, full, and last over a month because that's what it should be like. Such a waste of money and soooo disappointed. I arrived on time to my appointment, after driving 20 minutes from home and paying for parking only to be seated and looked over by the female stylist several times sighing and going back and forth between saying she could and could not cut my hair. She gave no particular reason, just kept touching it and looking at and repeatedly went back and forth until after ten minutes of being prodded like a zoo animal decided enough was enough. I was able to book a last minute appointment at M Salon in Eastchester and they gave me EXACTLY the shoulder length cut and style I wanted in less than an hour with only a picture and a few words for direction. Very DISAPPOINTED in Salon Shige as my 3-year old son had a great haircut experience with the owner a few months back that prompted me to try them for my own hair. I've had my hair cut and styled almost exclusively in the past ten years by Japanese salons in NYC, so I really can't figure out why this one salon found my hair difficult to work with. Looking at the pictures of the other customers, my hair is similar to many of their past customers. Oh well. My son won't be returning either.
