I've been wanting to get a balayage for the longest time and I'm SO glad I took my friend's recommendation to go here. The staff were so friendly and hospitable; they always asked me if I'm doing ok and if I needed anything. Miranda did my hair; I told her I wanted to do a silver balayage but because of my dark hair she initially didn't think it was possible with just one session, however, she ensured that she'll make my hair as light as possible, which was totally fine with me and understandable considering how dark my original hair is. BUT, somehow miraculously my hair was able to turn silver!! I was so impressed and in love with my new hair. Miranda did an excellent job and I could not have been happier with the result. Where to start?! As soon as you step into The Bright Beauty you are greeted by the friendly staff, checked in & situated with your stylist. Once you're seated, they offer you a beverage, coffee, tea or water. The assistant, Maria who usually washes your hair, massages your tresses and scalp to perfection you could legit fall asleep. No seriously, they have reclining massage chairs plus Maria's hands it's the perfect match for wash time. My stylist of 4yrs now, Dila is absolutely amazing! Her hands are pure magic! I've followed her from the Riverdale area all the way to Bronxville, she's definitely worth that extra drive for me!! Every idea or image I've shown Dila for my mane, she has executed to perfection. This salon was absolutely wonderful. My stylist, Sasha is amazing. She has taken my hair from frumpy to absolutely glamorous. There is nothing she can't do. She was honest about the process, and how long it would take to achieve what I was looking for. Not only was she right, but she exceeded my every expectation!!! The salon itself was very careful to follow the pandemic protocols of taking my temperature, masks, gloves, social distancing, etc. In addition, the salon was immaculate and they continued to clean for the three hours that I was there. I popped in one day , desperately seeking a blow dry for an important meeting. The receptionist was super nice and got me in with Miranda. Turned out to be my lucky day. She did an amazing job. She also gave me some great feedback on my color and what she thought would look good with my coloring and individual style. I went back the following week and she gave me the ashy, caramel highlights that I've always wanted. It's beautiful but natural. My experience was amazing from start to finish. All of ladies are polite and wonderful from the moment you walk in. I did a huge transition from virgin black hair to blonde. I had always wanted to do a blonde look but I was always concerned it wouldn't suit me. Anna exceeded my expectation. In love with this place , Sasha is absolutely amazing she transformed my hair and the ends results were just amazing. I walked out of the salon a completely different person. When I got there she offered me water and coffee and even though the salon closes at 6 she stayed a whole extra hour just to work on my hair. Also parking was so confusing the owner of the store even went to my car and put quarters in the meter to make sure I wouldn't get a ticket everyone there was so nice. I went to the salon across the street from the bright beauty about a week ago and they did a horrendous job on my hair. They gave me "balayage" but it was poorly done. I came to the bright beauty to get it fixed and was greeted very kindly upon arrival. Dila and Paola were extremely sweet and helped my unfortunate hair situation. They spent 4-5 hours fixing the other salons mistake and it was well worth it. They were very nice, funny, and did an amazing job on my hair. It's exactly what I wanted and I would most definitely recommend as well as return myself! read more

Couldn't be happier with my hair. Hairstylist Anna really took good care of me and definitely I'll be back. My hair after the balayage blond looks very healthy, the color is bright and shiny and the hair cut was amazing (Anna knows I love long hair so she cuts just as I needed). The place is very clean and they following Covid-19 protocols, I felt safe through out my experience. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Miranda has been my stylist for the past 3 years now and I absolutely love her! I always look forward to my visits with her. She listens and will never suggest looks or services just because. I have to give this place five stars for several reasons. Very friendly and attentive service. They always squeeze me in even when I call last minute! And most importantly, they do awesome blowouts! I did go here for lashes one time. I bought the lashes at a drugstore and I asked them to apply them for me and they did--no problem. The application cost me 20 bucks, which is a big cost savings from the other local beauty establishments in the area. read more
