To start, Chase is a rock star! He is knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He answered our questions and made excellent recommendations. The atmosphere is lively yet conducive to an intimate conversation. The place is full of light due to the many windows. There is a patio for outdoor dining with plenty of lighting, warmers, and a fireplace for those chilly evenings. The food was beautifully presented and delicious! I ordered the Wild Mushroom with Blackened Shrimp added, as recommended by Chase. The pasta for the dish is locally prepared at Frali Gourmet, an authentic Italian market/restaurant. Met here with my girlfriend for lunch. The ambience and atmosphere is perfect for afternoon cocktails. I wish I could upload videos because the entire space is divine. They have done such a great job of keeping the space bright with natural light and bringing the Savannah beauty inside. I definitely want to go back and sit outside! My husband and I were driving through Savannah with our dog, and we needed to find a dog friendly spot to stop for lunch. I am so glad I came across Ardsley Station! It is the cutest spot. They have a lot of outdoor seating, and the inside is really nice. Dogs are only allowed on the patio, but it is covered / shaded. The menu is a little pricier than I would typically look for at lunch, but the food was delicious! My husband and I shared the following items: - Pimento cheese bruschetta with peaches, red pepper jelly, radishes ($13) - Hanger steak frites with station fries, chimichurri aioli ($28) It was all so good, but the bruschetta was my favorite. 10/10 recommend. For starters their charchuterie was beautiful to look at and even better to eat! Locally sourced with a gracious serving of preserves, pickled vegetables, cheeses, bread and sausages - simply yummy and a value at $19.90. Finally in Savannah, a charcuterie board worth the price. My Makers Mark Manhattan was classically A+. The evening entree special of Halibut, on a bed of roasted vegetables, was fresh, popping with flavor topped with fish prepared perfectly! Yes to brunch at Ardsley Station! My friends and I had a girls brunch on Sunday and loved our experience. Ardsley Station is located at the corner of Drayton and Victory. The building and signage makes it easy to find. There is a parking lot behind the restaurant which you can park in. It is gated, and does not have their signage on it. But yes, you can park there. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. If you choose to sit outside there is a fire pit area and heaters to keep you toasty and warm. You can also bring your furry baby with you if you sit outdoors! The restaurant indoors is modern yet cozy. The color palette is white, creams, and taupe with little pops of selected colors everywhere from art, to the furniture, and finishes. The inside of the restaurant was more spacious then I thought it looked from outside. I was pleasantly surprised about this. I loved the white and gray table tops. The brown chairs and light green napkins and glassware added lovely color. Someone took time when designing and choosing colors/decor for the restaurant. And it shows in all the right ways! The food, in a word yum! I had the smoked pastrami rueben sandwich with fries. The sandwich was huge! The bread was fresh & soft. So much thick sliced delicious meat. I loved the sauerkraut and ipa mustard on it. The fries were crisp and well seasoned too. My drink was beautiful and tasted great. It is called the primo donna. It is comprised of dos primos blanco, rosemary pomegranate shrub, and yuzu lime soda. It was light and refreshing. The perfect drink for brunch if you are a citrus and pomegranate lover like I am. The service was excellent. We had a reservation. I would recommend one for brunch. This way you do not have to wait. We were seated promptly. Our server was friendly, polite, and answered all of our questions. One of my friends is allergic to gluten and diary. The server made sure to double check her order for my friend's safety. I appreciated her attention to detail. Our food and drinks did not take long to be served to us. Each course was timed well. So we were not rushed. Ardsley Station is open for lunch and dinner during the week. Brunch is only on the weekends. They have some great happy hour specials too. This is an interesting one because Yelp suggests it as an Italian restaurant.... Just like Super Mario is Italian and not Japanese. Putting that aside, we ordered Bruschetta and what came was some toasts with something akin to pimento cheese. We also ordered clams and we got clams in a curry. Don't get me wrong, they weren't bad dishes but it is not what you are expecting. The menu was quite eclectic and very limited in pasta choices. All the same, the food was delicious, very friendly and attentive staff and a nice atmosphere. I ordered the jambalaya and wish I had ordered the BACKYARD BOLOGNESE. The rice in the dish that I ordered was too hard yet packed with flavor so I ate it. Here are the scores 1-5. 1 (not good) 5 (great) Sangria 4/5 Based on the description I thought it was have an extra kick of something. This was regular sangria. Deviled Eggs 2.5/5 Great presentation, too much mustard used in the recipe. But it was edible. Charcuterie Board 5/5 Can't go wrong here! All great options here. Fish and Chips 3/5 Fish needed more seasoning, but with the lemon and special sauce that made it edible. Fries were good. Can't go wrong there. The ambience was perfect for lunch. I ordered the Buffalo wings for an appetizer and sweet tea. The wings were excellent, well sauced and flavorful. The tea was not sweet enough for my pallet but second glass refill was sweet and acceptable. I was left wondering how and why . My main course was the po boy shrimp sandwich and fries which failed in all facets of a meal. My fries were cold, hard, and burnt with fry pieces. The sandwich was hard and the shrimps were cold as well as hard. I was very dissapointed with my food. She gave us suggestions and we followed her lead with much satisfaction. We opted to share a pre fixed menu for Valentine's Day between us and the barbecued ribs and collards appetizer. The ribs were a shareable portion , moist and falling off the bone and the best collard greens, my husband even loved them! We then enjoyed the Harvest salad, exquisite flavors and a crisp, sweet flair of candied pecans and crispy kale. Not bitter at all! My husband gave the shrimp and grits a 9 on a scale of 1-10 and that's saying something!! I had the half chicken that may have been the most tender chicken I've ever had! They marinate it for 2 days and the lemony sauce on top was to die for! The potatoes and seasonal vegetables were delightful as well. We didn't have room to try anything sweet. Outstanding service. Our server's name was Hannah and she was lovely, kind and helpful. We had the poutine, the half chicken, the short ribs, the wedge salad, and the kids mac & cheese with roasted veggies. I'll start with the best. IGNORE THE REST OF THE LARGE PLATES AND GET THE HALF CHICKEN. I am 40 years old and I've had chicken a zillion times in my life, and I think this was the best chicken I've ever had. It was so tender you didn't even need a knife. You could easily cut through the breast with the side of a fork. It was juicy, flavorful and so, so tender. Hannah said they smoke it all day and then fry it for just a few minutes before serving to get the skin to become a little crispy. It's delicious and you won't regret it. The wedge salad was also fantastic. I always have to order wedge salads without red onions because I don't like the strong flavor of them. This one has crispy onions instead, which was great flavor. It was so good! The poutine was pretty good. It had so much gravy that it was simply swimming in it, and was kind of hard to taste the cheese curds, fries or green onions. But the ingredients were good quality. The short ribs were just okay. They weren't very tender, especially compared to the chicken. Pretty chewy and I had to tear them apart with my fingers to find the good parts. My son's mac and cheese and veggies were SO good too. The noodles are made in-house and so is the cheese sauce - amazing! Roasted veggies were super fresh and delicious. Overall, not everything we ordered was incredible but nothing was outright bad. This place is incredible, in food and in service! We are visiting Savannah for spring break and decided to come here for dinner on a whim, since we can walk from our air b&b. The restaurant is very cute and cozy, we were seated outside to enjoy the beautiful Savannah weather. We shared the bruschetta and the pecan pesto pasta--both were absolutely delicious and perfect serving sizes. Unfortunately I do not remember our waitress's name, but the reservation was in my name--whoever served that table on Saturday night was incredibly sweet and welcoming, especially after a long travel day. The outside had a few parties, some arriving at the same time as us, but we were told the bugs can be bad so we opted for the A/C's indoor seating.
