The food at this restaurant remains the highlight of the experience. We try to come here every few months and have often brought friends visiting Savannah. We were disappointed at our last visit when the bill mentioned a surcharge for credit card payments. Now who, in 2025, doesn't pay with a card? I resent the backhanded approach the owners use to raise menu prices. If they can't manage the business profitability why don't they just raise the prices? Unfortunately, I have experienced this trickery before in other restaurants. If I still enjoy the food I do what I did at Ardsley Station. And that is to reduce the intended tip by the amount of the surcharge. As patrons to a popular restaurant we have little power over the pricing decisions of the management. However if more aggrieved patrons did this perhaps the staff could pressure their management. read more

We came here late night for dinner and made a 9:15pm reservation. One was not needed as the inside was pretty empty. The outside had a few parties, some arriving at the same time as us, but we were told the bugs can be bad so we opted for the A/C's indoor seating. They did net seem to care that we were arriving so close to closing. The menu had so many things it was hard to decide, so we got all the things we wanted, over ordering for sure. We got the poutine, the charcuterie plate, and the deviled eggs to start. My favorite was the deviled eggs. The house-made mustard was great! The poutine was a bit heavy, but I should have expected that so that's on me. The charcuterie plate was a good size for the price. I also had some of the pappardelle and the pork sausage was amazing! I liked the vibe of this place. The inside of the restaurant is nice and there is a lot of outdoor seating. We were surprised how busy it was on a Wednesday night. We had a reservation and were taken right to our table. The service was great. The food was tasty. It is on the pricier side but the food quality and the service made to worth it. I got the salad with the green goddess dressing and a side of Mac and cheese. Both were tasty! For dessert I got the chocolate icebox cake. It was very rich, I could not finish it all. Food is delicious. Pricey. But my issue was about the fee that was charged for using a credit card. When the bill is over $100 and there is no indication that a fee will be added for a credit card--it seems tacky. Who pays cash nowadays? We've been to The Olde Pink House,Vic's on the River, The Vault, Elizabeth's on 37th, to name a few and we were not charged a fee for using a credit card. Who pays cash nowadays.Maybe tell the diners before they use their cards. Not going back. It's the principle of the thing. We live in Savannah and there are plenty of good choices. read more

The wait staff was amazing and accommodating for me and my pup. It was a rainy Wednesday afternoon so it wasn't too busy. The cocktails are very refreshing and light for the hot humid days. I also got the fish and grits small plate which was amazing. This was my first stop coming in to Savannah so it was the welcome I needed! The fish was crispy and the breading was perfect and not salty. The grits were creamy but not to thick. I have nothing but incredible things to say about this establishment! We went last night to quietly celebrate my birthday while on our mini trip to Savannah and we had an amazing meal. I had researched the perfect place for weeks and I think we absolutely found it. Here are some highlights: 1.) The service was incredible. The restaurant called me about 30 minutes before our reservation to make sure we still wanted to sit on the patio (since the temperature dropped). Since we had our dogs (they are super dog-friendly and accommodating), they made sure that the heaters and fireplace were going for us. 2.) The food was handcrafted and reasonably-priced. We had the ribs and deviled eggs as appetizers (the ribs are a MUST). For dinner, we both had burgers. The portions were nice and the food was clearly made with love. We also had a side of the Mac and cheese. There was a mixup in the kitchen, so we didn't initially receive it, but the manager on duty made sure to then give us a double order on the house. 3.) On Mondays, bottles of wine (under $70) are half-priced. We shared a bottle of LaMarca. We did have half a bottle left, but they nicely packaged it for us. I truly hope this place has a long life and I hope that we can get back to Savannah and here as soon as possible. PS- Our server (Madeline?) had nothing but glowing things to say about working for this restaurant. It is good to hear that folks are being taken care of there, especially in this climate! read more

This place used to be the Atlantic that closed during Covid. We were told when we were seated that they needed the table in 90 minutes. I said as long as your service is good that shouldn't be a problem. I don't remember a restaurant ever telling me when I had to be finished. The coffee, French Press, was great. We came at happy hour All apps and small plates were $2.00 off. We ordered Bbq wings and pork tacos. We decided against entrees since we weren't that hungry. After all we only had 90 minutes and the clock was ticking. Seriously, the pork tacos were amazing but the chicken wings had problems. The wings were not just charred, they were burned. I ate 2 and sent the third one back because I could taste the ash from the over charred food. The cook did not look pleased. I never send food back unless it is inedible. The replacement wing was not much better. It felt like the restaurant wanted to be trendy with a smoker for cooking meat but I think they missed the mark. I noticed another table had several uneaten wings that were black. I might go back but will stay with the seafood. read more

First visit to Ardsley Station on a Thanksgiving visit to my daughter. It was an all around excellent experience. The decor is modern but comfortable. I'm told the venue was a gas station in a previous life, but you'd have to look hard to see any vestiges of that. It's quiet and we'll-spaced and open. The service was first rate. Blair was attentive and friendly and informative. The food came out promptly and warm. We started with the Everything Beignet, a savory rather than sweet offering. While the crust itself was a little hard, the combination of the mustard sauce and the eggs counterbalanced that and saved the dish. On the brunch entre front, the Johnny Cake Benedict was special. The smoked pork was rich and almost dominated the flavor blend, but the Bearnaise sauce came through well. The flavor combination was rich and appealing . The eggs were poached perfectly, and the collard greens weren't overbearing but rather complementary. My daughter's Veggie Skillet Melt was nicely spiced and tender. The B's and G's gravy and sausage were superb, although the biscuit was a bit tough. Will definitely come back next visit. read more

Another great meal at Ardsley Station. The chicken dinner tonight was so succulent. I could not believe how juicy it was. The gnocchi Mac n' cheese was especially good too. Mr. O had the bruschetta with peaches (his fav) for dinner and we had deviled eggs for an appetizer. I wish they served a moscato, but the Riesling was lovely with just the right amount of sweet and no aftertaste. For dessert we had the standby chocolate pot de creme with orange caramel (this decadent dessert is to die for and we always share it) and Mr. O had his old standby: a tall glass of milk. Tonight we met the owner, Tyler and told him how much we enjoyed the service and the meal. An all around great experience and a good way to start the week. Let's just say I visited twice within a week!! The food, service and atmosphere easily became one of my favorites. The staff is so friendly and attentive, really a great team. The ambience quiet, elegant and modern. There's indoor and outdoor seating (both equally beautiful and inviting). The prices are on the higher end so prepare your pockets! Well worth it though. During my first visit, we were blessed to arrive during happy hour which we didn't know of initially and the waiter forgot to mention it but when we scanned our menu we noticed the happy hour portion under 'Specials'. Good for us because we wanted to try their special cocktails! I ordered the Forsyth Fresca (4/5) but also tried the Blood Orange Margarita (5/5) and Get Smashed (3/5) -my rating out of 5 by each. None of them were bad, these are just my ratings by preference on how I like my drinks (sweet, light & crisp). I'd also recommend the Pineapple Seltzer for something simple. The food was delicious! The Station wings are a winner and come with a special ranch sauce that's made in house. My friends had the Calamari and although I did not try it, they could not stop raving about it so if that's your thing, I'd recommend you try it! The Pimento Cheese Bruschetta is a small plate on the lighter side if you'd rather not start with anything too heavy. The red pepper jelly is a great touch! I tried the Southern charm, as well as Station burger. They are both amazing, and I honestly cannot choose between the two. I would recommend you try the Station burger if you want something more sweet and savory, and the Southern charm, if you like more sweet/tangy with a kick of spice. The comeback sauce, and sneaky sauce are a MUST! Lastly, don't forget about dessert! I was glad to see one of my favorites on the menu (key lime). Troy was our waiter and he was amazing. We was attentive and made great recommendations. I had the Prime Rib Dip and it was the best "French Dip" I've ever had. The horseradish sauce out it over the top. I also had a cucumber drink that was refreshing and amazing. My bf had a burger with pimento cheese...because when in the south...pimento cheese rules. Let's start with getting there. Yes, there is parking. Yes, it is a little confusing, but it is there. Just remember where you are parking is in the rear, and all is good. Inside the decor is very nice and inviting. We had a corner table for 5 back over by the kitchen but it seems to work out just fine. Service was attentive and welcoming. Having had a large lunch, I sufficed with a Wedge salad with no proteins added. It was actually quite good, plenty of dressing and fresh produce. Would not hesitate to reorder. The one surprise, nothing really to knock them over, was that it was Peach week with a couple of peach themed entrees. So I assumed they would have some kind of peach themed desert. I was left disappointed on this front. How do you have peach week with out a desert? A nit, I didn't need the calories anyway, but still. We sat at the bar for dinner on a busy Saturday night. We shared a few items. The first was a Wedge Salad. Was good but made with Romaine instead of iceberg which it said on the menu, but we didn't notice it. Iceberg would have been better we thought. Lardons and crispy onions on the salad were great. Cauliflower steak was the same. Others I have had were sliced medium thick and grilled. This was a floret which was undercooked. The curry sauce was great on it. Chocolate torte for dessert was great. Service from the 2 bartenders was attentive and the restaurant is modern and bustling. read more

We went Saturday evening for my birthday dinner. We sat on the patio which was really nice but the staff seemed irritated when we asked for the additional heaters to be lit up. It's been pretty chilly in Savannah once the sun goes down. One lady who named herself as the 'patio heater whisperer', was quick to shut my husband down when he suggested the heater she was struggling to light might've had an empty tank. Shortly thereafter, she was replacing the tank. Our server was good enough but not overly friendly which definitely adds to the experience. He was nice enough to take a photo of us after dinner and also gave us birthday cake & champagne as a birthday treat so that was very nice. My husband got the pork chop and was not impressed. He also got the Poutine which he raved about. Sadly, there were not many options for the non-meat eaters. I got the wedge and a bowl of tomato soup. Both were very good but I had to order bread for my soup which I found strange. The wine selection was really amazing I thought. Our server told us we were there during happy hour and there were drink specials but once we received the check, there were no discounts on our drinks. We didn't say anything. It is what it is. The restaurant itself is really cute & clean. Restrooms are incredibly clean too and the patio area is adorable. It's a smaller restaurant with a more intimate feel. Especially outside.
