Performance did a beautiful job replacing the rear bumper on my Porsche Macan after it was rear-ended. They were able to get the necessary parts within 2 days, which was much faster than expected. I dropped it off for repair and it was ready the following day...looking brand new again! I also recently used them for an oil change and for my NYS inspection. So I brought my car in here for service. The service is really poor and they treat their customers like crap. We made an appointment for our car to be serviced and they did not even bother working on it until the next day. They did not even bother to tell us. They charged just as much (actually more than) the dealership would have and did less than what the dealer would do. One of the lousiest places around and they want to make a fast buck off of you without any real service. Stay far away from this place. Go elsewhere where they are honest and can treat customers well. read more

Went to them to just switch out my plates. Of course they told me after I had left that the bolts were "stripped" and it would require more work. When I complained the mechanic at the desk told me "I couldn't do it myself..." (wrong. I had three other places in mind just not immediately convenient.) So I gave Performance a shot. They have always been helpful and honest with me. I have a long distance move coming up, and for the last 2 months I've slowly brought my car in every week to get it ready for the long drive (financially this made breaking up the cost easier on my bank account ) Everyone is super friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They offered to do a quick check on a power steering fluid leak on a car that just passed inspection a week ago. They did not advise in advance that there would be a charge, then charged $70.00. No work done, a 10 minute check. Then they said the car needed $1,800 worth of work and should not be driven. How can a car pass inspection and need $1,800 of work one week later? It drives fine. Good professional service with frequent communication. We had to bring the family minivan in to them after a nasty accident with a Semi-truck. The right side sliding door was totaled. Our insurance company gave us a list of places, and this was on the list. We received frequent communication from them both by email and phone with updates on the repair status. The repair was done well and looks good as new. They were friendly, thorough, and professional. We have been customers of Performance for about ten years. They are professional, reasonably priced and very easy to work with, from the front desk to the technicians. They have always delivered good work and met their deadline. Nothing in life is perfect and I think the test of great service is evident when a something doesn't perform perfectly, which is sometimes the case with cars, especially new parts. This happened once and the team very quickly proposed a solution, replaced the part at no cost and we were back up and running. We use them for everything from inspections and oil changes to more extensive repairs. I'd guess we've been there 40+ times over ten years and always been very happy with Performance. read more

I'm ashamed at myself for letting these guys rip me off for so long. On multiple occasions I got my car back without fixing the problem, costing me more time and money. The cashier is nice enough but the guys fixing the problem are a revolving door and there is no pride is workmanship. This place is run as 2 separate businesses and they just blame each other for problems and have a serious lack of communication. read more

These guys are the best. I've always brought my car here for basic maintenance, but recently I needed body work and they were just wonderful with that too. Helpful, courteous, prompt, honest. My car came back cleaner and nicer looking than before the accident. They even threw in a few little things for free, like fixing a crooked gas tank door and buffing out a small scratch. Most dishonest auto repair I have been to so far. I took my car here for issues with cooling and cabin heat. After about 2 hours he told me that he need s to replace radiator, hoses, coolant and thermostat to fix this. Pretty much everything involved in cooling the car and he asked $1100 for this. I did some research online and found that what he was asking little too much for these repairs, so I decided to take it to another shop after knowing he will do it for $750. I still paid $55 to performance for diagnosis. But later it turned out that it was just the hose and coolant which needed to be replaced to fix the problems for about $150. So in essence you will notice multiple issues with these guys, they were suggesting the repairs I did not need and they were charging 35% extra for those repairs. Never even think of going to this shop. read more

Dishonest Crooks! Check your wallet before you leave this place because they picked my pocket. They kept the car a day longer than promised and gave me an all inclusive price of $580 but then the charged me over $730 when I came to pick up the car. There are lots of other garages in the area... do yourself a favor and go to them instead. read more
