The worst customer service experience I have ever had by far! When I went into the 2x2 office to purchase one tire I was told everyone was at lunch and it would be a 20 minute wait. 2 hours later I was given the most pathetic attitude because goofy glasses guy couldn't upsell me to purchase 4 brand new tires. Then came out yelling that I wasted their time because they couldn't get the locks off of my tires. I had no locks. I was then told that I had to back out my car from their bay myself so I pointed at the sign that says "Due To Insurance No Customers Allowed Beyond This Point". Now it gets really petty. He backs up my truck exactly to that sign, opens up my door and walks away. I look into the window and everything in my glove box including important documents were thrown all over my truck. As I put them all back he came back out to ask me if there was a problem. There was a problem. I had to restrain myself from smacking his goofy glasses off in front of his father , showing him that he raised a punk. Advice goofy glasses guy, when you read this and you know who I am, Black Mazda Cx-9, don't look stupid trying to justify every action I detailed here. Instead, accept your lack of professionalism and be a better small business owner. After all, you are not the only place that sells tires. read more

This is hands down the best place you can go for tires, wheels, balancing, alignment, and flats. Mick is an absolute saint in my opinion. Nicest guy, fair prices, he routinely goes far out of his way to help out my wife and I. My car has an expensive, large factory wheel package with rare sized 21 inch low profile tires and I am always hitting potholes, blowing out tires and bending the wheels. He fixes the wheels, gets the rare tires in and gets my alignment fixed in no time. I can't say enough good things about this place and this man himself. I will always go here. read more

This business and owner are amazing. This place is a real gem. He repaired a flat tire that had a nail, did a wheel alignment and I got two new tires replacing ones that were damn near bald! LOVE this guy ... gives u the right price, has u in and out in an hour and doesnt try to sell/BS any extras. Im a single Mom & usually anybody who has anything to do with cars tries to hose me every time (bc they assume I know nothing) Micky never tried any of that. In fact he saved me money by suggesting a less expensive tire that would basically serve just as well. If you have a car with nice rims, do not go here,, they will most likely scratch the rims,, the installers are extremely careless..

I have been buying tires there for my last three cars. Mickey is always friendly and appreciates the business. (something lacking in a lot of places nowadays) My cars never have smudge marks or grease on them when returned to me. The prices are very good which is definitely an added bonus. I never write reviews, and I don't ever complain about products or services, but I had such an awful experience and felt the need to warn others... I did not have any issues at all the first time I went to National Discount Tires last year. My family has been going there for years buying tires without a problem and they have fair prices. However, the last time I went to National, I needed 4 new tires put on, and they managed to scratch all 4 of my rims! One rim was really badly damaged. I have and can deal with maybe a small scratch on one rim during tire install because I understand people can make mistakes and it is a rough process, but this damage looks like curb rash! What made it worse was that they denied any wrongdoing until I showed them the metal and paint from my rim on the brand new tire that they just put on. They did not apologize or try and make it better in any way at first. Actually, one of them, (I'll leave his name out) said; "your rims look ridiculous anyway"! I couldn't believe that not only had they scratched all of my brand new rims, but they denied it until I showed them clear proof and then after all that they didn't say sorry, but insulted me instead. I have never experienced such horrendous customer service. I guess the customer is worthless and always wrong at National. I will not be going back to National in Yonkers ever again. My father, mother, brother and his fiancé are now former customers as well after telling them this story. They are shocked at the comment the one employee made because they know him and all thought he was a really nice guy when they went to National. I'll stick with Mavis from now on.. Used to go there and NEVER had a problem or scratch and they have a clean waiting area with heat unlike National. Oh!... They did offer to "repair" the one severely damaged rim.. Great!.. Now what about the other 3 you ruined!!?!?!?! What an awful experience... If I could rate them less than a 1 I would... read more
